Eric Bana has deserved so much more credit and for his roles over the past 15 years then he ever received. He is better than Pitt/Cruise etc etc and on line with HANKS. HE should be one of the highest most sought after artists in the world.
He is one of the few actors I have never “casted” in my head as either the good guy or bad guy.... no matter what role he plays, he is all commanding and Encompasses each role with a perfection most people can’t even LIVE one true life as.
I’m sure those who know him personally would agree but also amplify my opinions 100x. Looks like yet another Eric Bana masterpiece. Forest Whittaker is barely recognizable!! Another GREAT

Urban...hiihihii....yes,Urban. That resume...No but Bana is the most underrated actor...after Benicio Del Toro, Brendan Gleeson,Ray Liotta,Jeffrey Wright,Guy Pearce,Terrence Howard,Joe Pantoliano,Liev Schreiber,John Goodman,John Turturro,Delroy Lindo,Sean Bean,John Leguizamo and Armand Assante.
Well,there was this one blooper that somehow made it into the final cut. He is arrested at the end of National treausure and you can see the confusion and resentment in his face cause in the script he was going to be shot down while resisting arrest (ME...LIVE?? I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS!!)...he resisted and they still didnt shoot him. I feel his pain...when you gotta go,you gotta go which means always if you´re a human Bean.

He's a very good actor but I think that Forest Whitaker is even more underrated

Rented this film on Amazon last night. The performances were amazing. Eric Bana put his all in this. He's so dark, I had chills. This was Chopper 2.0. And, again, he masters an accent. Blown away.

Great Afrikaans accent by Bana! It is subtle enough to hear that he is supposed to be Afrikaans, but not so extreme as to be a caricature of Afrikaners (as is mostly done in movies). It is truly the best I have ever heard in a Hollywood movie. I might even see the movie just based on that.

I am sure the actors are very skilled in their profession but the preview portrays the hypocrisy of the current government in SA. Those wonderful lines we were told once and are nothing but patronizing lies and propaganda. The reality is completely different and these ideologies are nothing but historic fables. Saddening and not the future we were promised, this goes for majority of South Africans. But at least the rest of the world can make themselves believe that it is better. I wish though that these movies would stop portraying white South Africans in this way, it is not truthful, it is racial stereotyping and offensive.
