Guy de Chalus there is no comparison as they have formed their own distinct paratpara, or gharana (musical school of thought), each of them are pandits in their own right. 🙏🙏

@@renjithvr7898 maybe sir. But Dr L subramaniam one is one whole universe equivalent because his style is revolutionary for Indian violin where less gamakas given but the music is way divine.

@@renjithvr7898 when you go trans to the particular music you will know who is better but still the other one of them is better. Like I go trans to Dr l subramaniam music and I think his music is divine than others. But other people would think lalgudi one is more better than Dr l subramaniam. So you are giving your opinion which not wrong. But remember don't criticise that particular artist because there are devotees to his music. To me Dr L Subramaniam is the only person who made revolutionary to solo Indian violin music where he marked the Indian music on the top level and popularised solo Indian violin to the world in spreading carnatic music.

Also I found that Dr L Subramaniam doesn't rank with anyone because he is a universe himself and only devotees of his music knows how great legend is he. For lalgudi and gopalkrishnan they are also universe for themselves and there are devotees for their music. Please don't rank artist and create nonsense fight in between music.
