In some ways, the story of Coco mirrors mine and Savanna’s. I had to put my passion for music on hold while I started a family and worked to support them. I was happy to do it, and found purpose and honor in it as my wife and I worked hard to ensure a better future for the generations that were to come after us. This made me reflect on the many who came before us that worked so hard (often putting their passions and dreams on hold) to put us in a better position in life.
Savanna’s dreams and passion for music thankfully brought me back to the dreams of my youth, and returned me to something I love - performing music. I will forever be grateful to her for gifting me this opportunity to follow my dreams again.
We can all agree that following our dreams and passions is sage advice, but remembering those who paved the way for us and sacrificed so much along the way should never be overlooked. So, with gratitude, we dedicate our music to the many family and friends who have helped inspire us to be who we truly are today.

I’ve loved this version ever since it came out...your voices, harmony, and Nick on the guitar are absolutely beautiful! My sister who was 14 years older than me, passed away a month ago...she raised me, as our mom died from cancer when I was 5. While this may all sound sad, there’s many blessings involved. They are both safe in the arms of Jesus, both left me a heritage of love, laughter, joy...and faith in God. This song brings back so many warm memories of my precious sister and what she meant to me. 💕👼🏼🎶

One of the last conversations I had with my older brother was him saying “That movie Coco is a good one.” A month later he suddenly passed on on his way home, 45 minutes after leaving our ancestral house. So, this song is very dear to us. We still miss him after 2 1/2 years. Please include my parents especially my Mom in your prayers as she still grieves because exactly after 13 months my eldest brother passed on too.

I wanna say thank you to you and to your Dad. This song reminds me of my grandpa, whom i grew up with. He was a father figure to me, because i grew up without having a father. He taught me how to cook, i loved listening to his stories/experience in life. After he died, he left us a small piece of paper, kept in an old jar. He wrote, " Dont forget me, I am your grandpa, remember me." Its been a long time since he left (2003), but I still miss him a lot. Now I have a lovely 1,5 yr old son. His 2nd name is my grandpas name. He will never be forgotten, i love him so much ❤ All the best to you, your Dad and your team. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

One of my favorite songs ever. I've been so swamped and haven't checked in with the Shaw's in a few months. So over the moon that this is one of the songs they have covered. Their harmonies continue to make me thrilled. Goosebumps. Mat has always been a mature skilled singer and performer. Just need to dust off the shelf time. Savanna one that we knew would be growing before our eyes and ears. In this year they have been sharing their gifts with us her confidence has blossomed. I love to go back and watch the early videos where Savanna's voice soars even though she's not quite sure. Each glance her Dad gives her enables her talent to shine.
