The rafts we used were borrowed from our friends, so I’m not quite sure what type they are, but I think you can buy some inexpensive ones online. We stayed at North Pines Campground, right near it. There’s a bridge where we started our rafting trip, but we only went maybe a few hundred feet down the Merced River. I know that our friends rafted the entire way down into town the following day, and then they deflated the rafts and took the bus back to camp. That’s one option you can consider. I hope this information is helpful. Also, we plan to upload more videos from Yosemite National Park, so please stay tuned.
what parts of merced did they restrict for rafting? we were planning to raft from north pines down to sentinel bridge vs putting in at stoneman bridge since we'll probably be parking a return vehicle at sentinel bridge
