I watched a ton of You Tube videos on the Philippines and have a few favorite vloggers. I love their cinematics and story telling but I must say, yours has been the most informative, comprehensive and useful. I'm planning a trip to El Nido soon and this has helped me immensely. Its cheaper to fly from Clark International Airport, it will save you half of the fare compared to flying out of Manila with Airswift. I checked the rate flying in to Puerto Princessa and its more expensive than direct El Nido flights from Clark. You can hit two birds in one stone, tour around Pampanga at the same time and enjoy some kapampangan food. I just booked for next month 😊 also for booking tours and transport its worth looking at Klook. I got tour A for just 895 pesos from 1200 😊 see you soon El Nido!
Just got back from the Philippines yesterday and wished I had researched that shorter route - which we totally would've taken since we were actually staying at a resort at Lio beach right next to that little airport. Oh well. Maybe next time.

If you use Smart you can text 'GIGA50' to phone number 9999 and get pretty good data for 3 days, and if you run out, just text it again. GIGA50 means 50 pesos, I think ($1). Local here if you hit up Lio Estate which has free shuttles from downtown and its where locals go to get away from the busy downtown area. In the Lio area, the internet is fast there and speeds run around 20 mbps. The free wifi is good for an hour at the estate but if you have mobile data on Globe its super fast. Tambok's nearby is a new filipino eatery which also has fast wifi.
I literally just got back from the Philippines yesterday and we did stay at one of the newer hotels at Lio beach. It's certainly cleaner, quieter, and more low key, but the on-premise restaurants are pricey and the shuttles fill up really fast. We had to get there at least 30min early to even get on. Also the BPI ATM (the only one in the whole area) didn't give us cash, yet deducted from our bank accounts and several other western tourists had the same issue. We had to fill out tons of forms at a BPI branch in Manila to dispute the issue, as well as my bank at home. Also Chinese tourists are everywhere and they're kinda loud and rude. Certainly a cultural difference, but fairly accurate.
poor old el nido, so gorgeous with its cliffs and islands has become hell nido , tourist ghetto , 2000watt karaoke sound system until 5am 24/7. on one of the most beautiful beaches on earth.

Awesome video! I watched it weeks ago before going there and just got back yesterday. Very accurate and useful info. We had a group of 8 so hiring vans for all trips, even Nacpan beach made sense. We stayed at Lio beach - just north of El Nido town and right next to that small airport. It was a very new, clean, good wifi, and quiet area, with an hourly shuttle to the town, but probably not the cheapest. I couldn't fly my drone there because of the airport. I will say that we researched flying into Coron and taking the ferry over or flying directly into Elnido via that small airport and it was actually quite reasonable when you consider the cost and time of driving from Puerto Princessa. I would totally do that next time. Tour A was awesome and I got some great aerial footage, but also so sunburnt that I just couldn't do tour C. You're probably right in that it all looks the same... At least that's what I tell myself LOL...
Been looking for a video like this. This is the most informative Palawan video on youtube 😮 Will definitely use this when I do decide to come to Palawan 👍

Great tips as I was just there and did all that stuff. I would like to add 2 notes, you comments were spot on about internet so book a way out before you get to the Island. I learnt that the hard way. Also, I packed 1L of water on my tour A. It wasn't enough. I ended up with the worst case of sunstroke and got very sick. I highly recommend the tour. Glad to see you guys are still going!
Jarret V Great tips! It was partially rainy/cloudy for the beginning of our tour so we didn't need as much water. Still, never underestimate the heat...!
We are in El Nido, now, and the one adjustment I'd make to this video is that Air Swift has reasonably priced flights to this airport, now. About $135 ow and well worth saving the time to drive up from PP. And by the way, the banana bread at the Midtown Bakery is still 🔥!

This video offers great travel info to El Nido. My girlfriend and I have traveled extensively but never to the Philippines. The info provided was comprehensive and easy to follow.
There are a lot of direct flights from Manila and Cebu to El Nido via Air Swift. They land at Lio, an area where you might want to stay. Better accommodation and fast internet. Best boat tour goes to El Nido Yachting Club. They are AMAZING!
I went to El nido and coron just last month and loved it!! I just wish it would have sunny the whole time. It was cloudy or rainy most of the time. But as soon as I got to Cebu it was sunny. Either way, I hope to go back. I loved it.
thanks for the video you shared here , it shows how good is in our country in beaches, waterfulls and people are so friendly here and hopefully you can go to other beautiful place here , there are 7641 island you have more options . like siargao ..

Wow thank you very much for the very informative and detailed video. Much appreciated especially the itinerary! Traveling there with my husband and 3 kids this summer and very hesitant of going because of the trip just to get there! Now I have an idea what I’m putting my husband and kids in! My kids are definitely in for a surprise aka no WiFi! lol Can’t wait!
9/5/2019 Just purchased ticket from Clark airport (2 hour bus north of Manila and very close to Angeles red light district) to El Nido for $120 per person all-in. This is from Air Swift airlines. Flight times are very good both leaving Clark and arriving back into Clark. There is a bus at terminal 3 in Naia that will take you to Clark airport.
Well done! So informative. The market is quite the experience. You covered a lot. Ziplining to the small island was epic at sunset. I may suggest that Coron is a can't miss part of the island. One of my favorites in Asia. Yes a bit more, but, so worth it! Great Jobs guys. Cheers to 15,000!!
@ Int Affair You sure did! Wifi is bad on the island. Great opportunity to put the devices away and enjoy the island. Nacpan was nice and if you go South a bit, there is Twin Beach which is secluded. Safe travels! 😉

There are a lot of direct flights from Manila and Cebu to El Nido via Air Swift. They land at Lio, an area where you might want to stay. Better accommodation and fast internet. Best boat tour goes to El Nido Yachting Club. They are AMAZING!
this is what I like in your channel, very informative and no BS haha. thanks for sharing things about my country.

I went to El nido and coron just last month and loved it!! I just wish it would have sunny the whole time. It was cloudy or rainy most of the time. But as soon as I got to Cebu it was sunny. Either way, I hope to go back. I loved it.

Nice! Glad we could help and safe travels ✌🏼
Thank u guys! Very helpful informations🙏
Those drone shots are insane!! Love it xxx
Olivia & Hannah 😃 Thanks you all 🙏🏼!

Thank you Ann 🙏🏼Glad we could help 😃
Ahh Palawan...those turquoise blue watees where Profesor met with Raphael 💚
Thanks! Really Helpful. Been looking at both Boracay and El Nido, and your video made me decide for El Nido.
Glad we could help 🙏🏼
Great job on this review, i love how detailed everything is.
Keep up the good work. Thanks for this.
aezel ellamar Thanks so much Aezel! Glad you enjoyed it and hope you found it useful!
Been here last year. One of must see islands in the Philippines. Hope you guys enjoyed your stay!
😍
Great and helpful video! Many thanks!
🙏🏼
Richard Bednar Told ya we were going to sprinkle it in! We talked about Coron but it just never materialized. Will have to save it for round 2...😉
@ Int Affair You sure did! Wifi is bad on the island. Great opportunity to put the devices away and enjoy the island. Nacpan was nice and if you go South a bit, there is Twin Beach which is secluded. Safe travels! 😉
