We love our IB 2017 Unity! Actually, the bed is pretty large, although, not a queen. I think only the Murphy bed is Queen or the TB can be made to a queen bed?
Jody, Jennifer - The 2018 Unity TB bed sizes are 34"x76" (2) or a converted 88"x76". The 2018 Unity IB bed size is 58"x74". You can compare specifications for various floorplans and products from LTV over at leisurevans.com/products/ (including bedsize). All of our Unity specifications can be found at leisurevans.com/unity/specifications. - Stephen
This is the one for us! One suggestion: we'd prefer the front TV was an option as we're not big TV watchers.....one in the back is plenty! Please let us opt for more cabinet / pantry space up front. Cheers!
Thanks for the very informative video -- I didn't know about Leisure Travel Vans previously but am now considering one! And they are built in Canada -- another benefit :)
We are so excited! Our 2018 TB is on order. Love the new spice rack. I wonder if the back splash is magnetic? The next few months, until we take possession of our new home, might seem to go by too slowly. We are empty nesters ready for the next chapter and new adventures.
We've had to change plans, we were looking to drop a bundle on a Class A, sell it all and be gone BUT one our 2 greyhound became deathly ill with motion sickness on a test run in a rental. Now we're looking for a smaller unit for excursions while the dogs are home with the dog sitter. Dean is a very thorough presenter but we're exhausted by his enthusiasm!! lol
46619TAB, you can compare all of our current 2018 products and their specifications over at leisurevans.com/products/ to find one that suits your needs! - Stephen
We've been looking, mostly using manufacturer's websites, at American made B's and C's off and on a while, the B's ceiling heights are too short, I'm 6'4 and he's 6'5, and the C's are too big outside. Somehow we stumbled on Canadian made LTVans and found the Unity models have the ceiling height we need and the exterior dimensions we can live with. We've decided on the Unity FX because who can't love an almost King Size bed and a second lounge area in a compact space, it's the most innovative floor plan we've seen!! We've located the nearest dealer and plan to 'pull the trigger' this Spring.

I just want to know how long do you stand behind the product that you build? I know Pleasure Way has a 5 year warrenty but never hear you mention any kind of warrenty at all on your Leisure Travel Vans so I assume you dont have much of a warrenty.
Great presentation ... impressive layout choices. LTV should really consider "customization" for the Unity: specifically to accommodate larger solar installations. Wire routing options for more than two solar panels on the roof and different battery placement locations to accommodate battery banks that are larger than two 6V batteries is a must in today's market. The Island Bed and the Twin Bed offer large storage bays in the rear that would be far better locations for larger solar packages. LTV should offer this type of "customization". It's not difficult (and a LOT less expensive) to wire the solar from the roof to those rear compartments and then from those rear compartments to the control panel over the entry door during assembly at the factory. That's the type of "customization" that can and will attract more interested buyers if it's an option when ordering a Unity to be built at the factory.
Van looks excellent only one concern the stove is right next to the lounge chair. Someone is bound to burn themselves if the stove has recently been used. The only flaw.
I wish they add the price for these things and if it’s able to become full time camper van living...because I would want something like this with large exterior storage if I wanted to put a portable washer and dryer
Dean, on the Island Bed possible to make the bed a Murphy Bed similar to the FX (but with underneath chair storage)? That way the bedroom is a big lounge during the day. You give up some overhead storage but worth it since there's a ton of storage already. Lastly IB needs a cutout window in the back to create a full sweeping panorama. The RV seems like an inward focused design. Otherwise pretty amazing.
What is the towing capacity for the Unity? Personally, I'm in love with the MB but the twin bed would work for my parents if it could tow their small SUV.
I think the coaches look great! And who does not love Dean, but the quality of some elements need to come up and maybe a bespoke floor plan would make me jump in head first. But I am holding back. They are not cheap, but I question some of the choices LTV has made.
Well friend I let you into an untold truth about EU RVing. You can choose 3200 different combination of interior trims, even with leopard skin plastered all over the place if you so desire. But you have remember the amenities in our 120K+ EUR motorhomes: plastic bucket toilets, hefty 30 Kgs LP cylinders to shove around, TVs as a big as my laptop, structureless construction with walls built of styrofoam which makes chickens laugh out loud, no concept of flexible space with living areas the size of Fiat 500 interior and beds that occupy half the length of the vehicle even in 24+ feet motorhomes (and slide outs are unheard of).... should I continue ? Everything is option and some it's not even that... how an Earth an allegedly premium brand like say N+B can base a motorhome on a Fiat Ducato van which has no AUTOMATIC transmission what so ever except for a very slow and unreassuring robotized manual gearbox. And by the way did I tell you that all this basic Luxury usually costs more than a LTV which comes all ready packed. But there's a reason for it... the avg buyer here is 71+ y.o. and manufacturers have to cover their vehicles for the legal 2 seasons (solar years) warranty, which translates into roughly 2 months of use. Guess how much they do care about construction, solidity, materials stability, livability, flexibility, innovation... Should you believe otherwise it's got to prove they're the real marketing wankers.... German automakers anyone ?
Great tour as always Dean! Maybe you've answered these questions before, but I haven't seen it: Are any of your models available with 4x4/4WD and insulated for winter? I love your vans, but don't think they would work on ski trips or to other colder weather trips. Thanks
He explained about insulation for one of the other vans and it was good but I can’t remember which one. I don’t see why it would differ between the different types of vans though
Eddie Hogg I’m pretty certain their standard set-up has neither 4WD nor is insulated for all-season camping. If it were, I’d think he’d mention it. (The insulation needed for pipes and tanks is pretty extensive...see what Winnebago had to do to make the Revel 44E winter-proof.)
Henry, unfortunately, Mercedes & Ford don't offer 4X4 as options on the chassis we build on (wide-body). However, if you have product related suggestions we'd love to hear them over on our Ideas Portal: leisurevans.com/ideas/ - Stephen
Dean , why don't you guys make an OPTIONAL , Pop Up utensil rack into the Trash receptacle have a pop up unit on the counter to hold various kitchen utensils rather than a bogus trash box fill ... Making better use of the counter top area... and just stick a Trash basket on the inside of that Reverse Curved Door under Sink ... Please add a POP-UP Utensil organized in that Counter Top Garbage can ... Better use of the counter top
I want to be free from the black I Want a great career with my education , I want to make my family happy , I want to camp in nice rv maybe later in life , but for now I will work on myself , when I get there I will get u rv , for now I will better my self and get my education and money up God bless you all dreaming for better things and god bless me amen Stay strong
Dean, if you look at airtab.com for your RV's it is something that really helps when travelling the highways, and a big safety factor with high winds and transports and other larger RV's pass you.
Kill to have the twin bed version. Excellent packaging without the need for slides. Love it!
Thanks for demonstrating how the on/off switch for the light works. What an amazing innovation.
I love watching the videos bc of Dean. You could sell anything.
I love the FOV you guys use, every van looks like a bus :D
I dream of driving one of these through the vast and stunning American landscape
Hell yeah id throw massive parties beer pong on the roof!!! Yessir 🤙 💯
Simply fantastic presentation, Dean you're a reality amazing congratulations for your work.
Love them both, TB has a really nice set up for the twin bed area. Thanks Dean for a great presentation
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the island bed.
I'd like a Queen size island bed. Is that possible?
We love our IB 2017 Unity! Actually, the bed is pretty large, although, not a queen. I think only the Murphy bed is Queen or the TB can be made to a queen bed?

Love love love this one!!
Amazing coaches... I hope I can own one some day! :)
just purchased a used 2018 RTB - AWESOME!!
Nice Video. And I want one when I'm older so that me and my brother can go on a state cruise around NY or other places.
This is the one for us! One suggestion: we'd prefer the front TV was an option as we're not big TV watchers.....one in the back is plenty! Please let us opt for more cabinet / pantry space up front. Cheers!
Beautiful Cant wait to rent one for our first excursion Great!!!!
I️ really like the detail that was put into each one ❤️

I am a LTV owner and the back splash in ours isn't magnetic ('16). I was at a regional rally recently and others reported same.
Thanks for the info, I'll plan accordingly!
John, Victoria - we're excited to have you join the LTV family! A lot of owners resources can be found over at leisurevans.com/owners/ - Stephen

Dean!!!!! Your in Canada....Please make a four season van!!!!!! Please!!!!!!!!
Nice I like the hida bed and push button bed
beautiful
I wonder why they didn’t add arm rests for driver and passenger seats?
Van looks excellent only one concern the stove is right next to the lounge chair. Someone is bound to burn themselves if the stove has recently been used.
The only flaw.
speedyrabbit75 an induction cooktop would fix that
Dean, forget Jenny Craig, check out the WHOLE 30! Great van, and review!
The IB with all Espresso cabinets and Fog leather for me please? Great stuff!
Nice ,I hope I can afford one one day.
funny, my favorite channels are lambo and travel vans at the moment, ha

Also does one need to be named Dean in Canada to manufacture RVS? ;)
best salesman
Ikr?
Can you install some mechanism in the back to carry a motorcycle of approximately 250 kilos?
Can you tow a trailer with 2 or 3 motorcycles?
8:09
You Should Install a Lazy Susan on each shelf.
The twin bed unity is my dream rv, but too bad I can't afford it. Maybe one day I will be able to. I can only dream.
Dean how about a 4x4 ME/BE sprinter ??
But, can you add solar panels?
JMysticStar7, yes you can add optional Solar Panels. Configure a 2018 Unity over here to see what's available: leisurevans.com/build/unity/ - Stephen
Will you be able to send to india if willing to buy
I gotta have this!!
I Love It
What is the towing capacity for the Unity? Personally, I'm in love with the MB but the twin bed would work for my parents if it could tow their small SUV.
Can I use this in 29F temperatures?
Beautiful coach. Can you get them without propane and an induction stove top?

Why do they think they have to open every drawer and cabinet?
I wish we could buy something like this in EU.
m80116 in Europe you have lot more options and better quality RVs than we have in the US

Unbelievable quality, as always. Dean, you rock with the Leisure Van knowledge, but why do you have to speak so quickly? Do I win anything? LOL
Hey Dean instead of safe/storage over the driver cab area ...can that be another bed?
Eliminate the upper spice rack and put in a decent size pull out TV.
