Rick… just want to say thanks for the tip about the memory recall seats….. the minute you mentioned the full rear sensor…. lol. I adjusted the easy exit position, bumping forward from full rear, everything instantly began working as expected. I couldnt find anywhere else on youtube that explained the true root cause, only people saying to reset your settings and everything should work. Thanks again for adding it to the video.
Love tech Tuesdays and we really appreciate both of you taking time out of your crazy schedule and already long days to still put these video together. You guys go beyond the call of duty 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 As an aside, still not sure Mag ride is worth the money for most drivers especially if they don’t drive the car a lot.
You are so right tech Tuesday would not be so enjoyable to watch without Chuck. You are a good director and Chuck is a great explainer of the Corvettes
I am on the order list for a Z06. Admittedly I am concerned with buying a Corvette. My last Corvette was a C5 used for the track, so we replaced everything on the car: engine, tranny, rear, suspension, so it had the best possible equipment. The only original equipment was the alternator, which failed at ~10,000 miles. Hearing horror stories like the car won't start "Still in dive" scares me about Corvette ownership. My 2 Acuras never have any problems like that, or any of the myriad of other problems I hear on "Tech Tuesday" or what I see on the Corvette Forums.
I want to thank you both for blowing off the issue with the tack and the engine moving up and down on my C8. Your idea that this is not an issue is the typical way GM blows off issues that they have no idea what to do, which is what GM is doing right now, just replacing parts not as Chuck indicated "GM will not replace a part unless they have identified the part as being the issue". I have tried all modes; this is a flat road and none of my past Vets or any vehicle I have owned in the last 40 years have had this issue. The best and honest answer should have been : You have no idea what the issue is".
Sunday is Super Sunday with Conti and then Tuesday is Chuck Tuesday we need a Nate Friday Rick with your vast knowledge of everything do you know know makes the car Plaque all new c8 owners get
Received a urprise email from my Chevy dealer yesterday "your 2022 HTC Corvette is Worth More than you paid for it" ! (Hypersonic Gray , 2685 miles) they want to buy it back !! i'll give then a call this Friday for their offer. Old Fred - New Milford CT.
Rick: Great Vlog… you have a Vlog about adjusting the C7 seats and this issue years ago🤣 Also you have great Vlog on how to adjust the two outside mirrors on the C7 to eliminate any blind spots😃 Even my wife has appreciated both these vlogs when driving the car 😃 Thanks to you and Chuck for all the entertaining Tuesdays 🤣
Thank you for another great Tech Tuesday co-starred by Rick and Chuck. GT2 seat works pretty well on race tracks for me. When I turn hard on race tracks, the seat holds my body nicely. What moves is my legs. Keep up the great work, Rick and Chuck!
Always a great vlog on “Super Tech Tuesday”. Thnx Chuck & Rick. Coughlin Chevy is lucky to have you both working wonders with America’s Sports-car the Corvette.
Tech Tuesday is here with Rick and Chuck and next tech Tuesday Chuck will be getting his you tube walk of fame star right in front of the service department.
Passenger us in car seated. Stop for gas turn off car and horn sounds. Like an alarm. Another strange driver memory set but when passenger is in car. Driver opens door and the seat moves up. Squishing up than soon as seated moves back have tried to fix still does it. I the wife also have
Hi Rick I have a question on my first oil change I have just under 3000 miles my car is just over a year old and I want to know if I should do my first oil change or wait until the following year to do the oil change when it’s closer to the 7500 mile?
Love me some Tech Tuesday, love hearing info on the C8, mine got ordered 3 weeks ago can’t wait to get it and start driving to get those first 500 miles knocked off.
I experienced the same issue where I was't able to program the opener buttons on my C8 and noticed the owners manual states that if it is still not working after programming, like in demo, there are additional steps 4-6 that need to be performed. After performing the additional steps, I was able to get it successfully programmed. Refer to the Programming the Universal Remote System in the Owners Manual for those steps. Good luck.
It's curious to me that there is "intense heat" in the engine bay on a C8 that will actually melt LED lights in the engine bay, BUT it's okay to put a clear engine cover, without a heat deflector, on a C8 HTC and lay the top just inches above the cover?? C'mon man!!
I can’t stand the dealer BS, “It didn’t do it for us...” And then that is just the end of it for them. Horseshit. I’m a Doctor...you come into my office and tell me you have an upset stomach, nausea, and vomiting I don’t make you throw up on my office floor before I’ll start working up your problem. The fact of the matter is you people are all “techs” now and don’t know the first thing about diagnosing and fixing a problem. You need a computer code to tell you what part is wrong, and then you change the part. Period. You laugh it off, like you did in this video, “oh well, it’s frustrating..laugh...laugh...but GM won’t let us do anything..laugh...next question.” It isn’t funny when yo have dropped $110K on a car and it leaves you stranded in the middle of nowhere. Learn to do your jobs better.

Well Tech Tuesday wouldn't be the same without Chuck "Tech Master" Metts!
agreed!
My salesman never brought up an extended warranty. I would have been inclined to purchase it. Where do I go now to get it?
He should of, you can go to the finance office of your store...I have Ally Major Guard on my car!
