Heya - does the upper lace section have a similar protection to the lower section? It's hard to make out if that bit also has a 'flap' or if it's stitched to the shoe in the upper part. Cheers!

i used to lace mine up to the third from the bottom holes and have the laces tucked behind the tongue, now i've laced them up to the second hole from the bottom, but i feel like every time i put my foot in, my heel is going to wear down the back part of the inside of the shoe faster
