- In this video AJ gets the Mojave Grom and runs it through its paces to see how well it does, and then gives you the run down on its performance. Then he asks our four questions to come up with our total score for the RC here at the channel. As always, this is our perspective on this RC and we only rate the one we have here in the studio and not what others are saying on the internet. I've been active in the hobby for 4 yrs now. These little rigs are awesome for city bashing or indoor fun. They are just small scale for everyone to enjoy in more places.
Do you think someone who posts a comment like "no life, no wife" is winning at the game of life themselves? We all know better.
Gotta remember that people are going to be stupid, no matter what you say or do. Such comments are all about their own insecurities. It isn't really about you, so there's no need to defend yourself. Defending yourself just legitimizes the attack, so they are best ignored.
Keep bringing the positivity.
You the man !! Negative people usually have a reason low self esteem, no self worth, regrets anyway what I’m saying is there is no reason to let those people make a difference on how you perceive yourself. Keep on kicking ass and having fun!!!

You're also a rather (or can be said to be an) accomplished teacher. Can't help but to feel from the start that you're giving a rather scholarly vibes and the 'no wonder' moment came at the last part when you mentioned the other things you do. Can seriously relate. Got into the hobby because I'm a musician and can't practice in the apartment. Gotta do something to get a much needed smile after work. Weather has been bad around here lately , I'm about 40 miles north of Nashville TN. Very much appreciated you. EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE HOBBY. Keep saying no more twucks , about a month ago got a Arrma Felony. Soooooo , I'm gifting a modded 3S Big rock and 2 brushed buggies to keep the numbers in check. Thinking about going up maybe 3 teeth on the Felony. Have a Vendetta for the need for speed , she's fast enough to have tissues slowing down before running out of real estate. Thank you AJ. I have both the Typhon and the Mojave and these little cars are amazing. Arrma did a great job with these. Would love to see a Big Rock Grom.

"No wife, no life"?? Wow, that is the dumbest comment I've heard in a long time! Hope you didn't grind on that very long AJ, because that is seriously stupid. I get the occasional crank on my own channel, it happens. But I also get a lot of positive stuff also, and that clearly outranks. Been in this hobby since 1983, and I've seen many changes, not all of them good, but I appreciate your honest opinion because these companies aren't sending you marketing samples every week. i think the grom product line is design with urban environment in mind especially with mojave grom..
Spins out less and runs better on the rough after installing the largest included suspension spacers in the rear and second largest spacers in the front. Front end seemed to floaty/loose out of box and this adjustment helped.

love the video! I've been taking my mojave grom to my local park that has fine gravel walking paths and it has been the perfect spot for it!

Couple things I just started subscribing your channel I like your content really awesome I like the way you got it set up and I do appreciate the honest approach to the reviews it's it's a very it's nice and it's cool that you have a point system on how you evaluate things. As far as the comments the negative comments that somebody posted up that's not cool at all.

Its an amazing value
Running a 1/18 car in nature is a very steep task, especially if it is not a monster truck.
Any chance would you know if this will bind to a DX5 radio? Not a huge fan of RTR radios.
I would like to bind to the DX3, i don't like the controller either.
Great video! Would be cool to see a complete comparison to the typhon grom. I think the performance of the typhon should be better due to much lower weight and bigger wheels, wider stance… the Mojave grom really looks a bit slower in your review. Can’t get my hands on the typhon, not a single one available in Europe. :(

@@AJJAMStudios Finally got my hands on a Typhon Grom and heaving a blast with my 5yo son. It’s a great car, light, fast enough, good looking, easy controllable. Fun for young and old kids. Happy I didn’t buy a bigger/faster one. 😉
100% this channel has helped me immensely over my first 12 months in the hobby. So with that, any recommendations for diff tuning of a Losi tenacity tt pro? Running on large open gravel area 80% of the time 20% tarmac thats gravel/ poor surfaced conditions. Is 5k front 5k centre 7k rear a good set up? Thanks AJ and community!
For us, the stock fluids give great control, of course, that’s running in our conditions. For me personally, if you don’t mind a bit of experimentation, I think I would place 7k front, 5k mid and rear. Thanks for asking 😎👍
@AJJAMStudios Thanks for the advice AJ, so the 5/5 let's the centre diff put more power to the rear and the 7 in the front gives me better grip and steering control on loose surfaces?.Thanks again for your content, It's really helped me navigate and educate myself over the last year.
