The mischievous Minions hope that Gru will return to a life of crime after the new boss of the Anti-Villain League fires him. Instead, Gru decides to remain retired and travel to Freedonia to meet his long-lost twin brother for the first time. Interesting to note: Trey Parker (of South Park fame) took the role of villain Balthazar Bratt because he did it for his then-5 year old daughter as she is a fan of the Minions.
Basically, it’s one of his very few roles where his character doesn’t curse.
I should’ve known that.
I still reckon the girls could easily carry out the family business, we saw from that prank they played at the beginning of the movie they're crafty enough, Agnes's high pitched screams and determination could come in handy, Margo has the brains and Edith will definitely be happy enough to go along with it for the mischief and mayhem it would cause, she's always liked the violent bits. Though they all seemed to have liked the violent bits - re when Gru blew up the store at the amusement park and Margo said 'that was so cool' and Agnes said 'let's go destroy something else!'
I’m surprised how well this third Despicable Me film did, at least in my opinion. The second one is still my favorite, but this one was good too.🙂

Pretty good life lesson from this movie . Sometimes in life when we expect a unicorn we only get a goat with one horn. But that doesn't mean we can't appreciate the goat for what it is rather than what we were hoping it would be.

IIIIHHHH, yaaaaaaay!!!! I laugh so hard when Gru glides infront of the window singing happy birthday while the people inside laugh, hahaah!!! Not to mention the throwback when the villain is hung by his ... well, you know the scene haha
Well, that scene really embarrassed me greatly, way more than the scene where he dressed as a fairy princess for Agnes' birthday.

I’m intrigued to see what Despicable Me 4 will be about now that they announced this year that there would be a fourth film.

2: Falling in love
3: Sibling relationships
That’s what the first three were about, so I’m sure the new one would be something similar to them
How do you know there will be a 4th film?
There will be no fourth, but a 2nd Minions movie is coming out i think this year or next year, it will be about when minions finally met young gru and work with him while he's still young

This movie is special to me. It's the first movie I buyed with my own money.
Gru's first name is Felonius, and Dru's first name is Dru. Meaning they are Felonius and Dru Gru.
That's like being named Jedidiah Hex and then finding out you have a brother named Lex Hex.

gotta say,t his movie has my favorite villain in it. Mo offense to Gru, but Balthazar Brat just has such showmanship! his heists are entertaining to watch to the point i think some people would let him get away with it just so they can see the whole show!
Bratt’s plan might have looked confusing. But it was actually working, cause when the minions arrive in hollywood, you can actually see the city slightly rise a bit

You know, I mildly enjoyed this one. Some decent humor and heart- benchmarks for a Despicable Me film- and it's villain was actually quite fun with his 80s aesthetics.

As far as 3rd movies go I did enjoy this one. Gru having a brother was a nice twist
I think the writers really did the plot overnight with this one, but my friend and I can both agree about the magnificent humor

Still undecided as to whether or not Margo should've taken the flowers and piglet that Nico was offering to her. I mean yes they were engagement presents so she had no claim to them but at the same time I'm thinking 'if he's giving, why not take them, he doesn't have to come with them'. Pigs are cute and are useful pets - they eat next to anything so there's food waste dealt with, and their poop should make a good fertiliser.
Balthazar Bratt is by far my #1 favorite supervillain in this franchise. But if he was the 6th member of the Vicious 6 right now, he and the team as a whole would be my #1 favorite Despicable Me supervillain team.

So I will say that this movie is SLIGHTLY better than the 2nd movie. Loved all the 80s music. However, I still didn't care for this movie. Everyone seemed like they were on a sugar high and never recovered. There was so much yelling! And I would say that this is the last time we will ever see the Minions but NO! There's a Minions sequel coming out this year 😩

You need to watch the South Park movie. It’s with Trey Parker, the voice of bratt, who voices half the characters, and it’s an r rated animation movie. It’s unbelievably offensive but unbelievably funny. You don’t even need to watch the show first
