Amazingly, it was only a 6th place program for the year, but it changed people’s lives with its touching music and crazy drill, which was some of the hardest ever performed.
So glad you did this one. I knew the "dream makers" were going to get you! They won the high percussion trophy despite only attaining a 6th place finish. Truly a work of art

Great job on your reaction. I commend you. I want to say that I marched drum corps for 5 years from 1990-1995 as a horn captain, soloist and 1st trumpet (back then it was called soprano because my horn was in the key of G and not concert B-flat). Phantom was always a corps that I admired and respected. They made beautiful, classical music from beginning to end. This year was the 50th anniversary of DCI (Drum Corps International. I did not make it to Indy, but I did made it to the theatre. I did make it to the 40th. Drum corps changed my life and my heart. Thank you for doing these reactions. Please react to Star of Indiana 1990, 1991, 1993 if you will.
I don’t care where it placed. It’s my favorite show of all time! This show got my family interested in drum core and my son fulfilled his dream of performing with Phantom Regiment. Absolutely best show ever❤️ I’m happy to say I was able to thank Dan Ferrell and the solo trumpet for making this beautiful show
That first horn blast really did shoot right through your body, I got to see this show live at the Georgia Dome and to this day is my favorite show. The big moment for me was the moment they formed the Chevron and that plaintiff sounding chord as they turned around. Was supposed to symbolize that last grand memory looking back on a life well lived before you pass into the next life. Still makes me tear up sometimes.
The epitome of excellence. THESE are the best musicians in DCI, hands down. Their repitoire year after year are always a step ahead and above the rest. They don't have the precision of Cavaliers or Blue Devils in marching (though damn close), but their music is unsurpassed and honestly sounds orchestral.

In this case the judging has started before the corp enters the field and they are still being judged as they exit as it is known to be a part of the show! Most times the judging has stopped after the announcer has announced the end of the show! I am so glad you felt what I do during this show which is why I wanted it on my birthday! The sheer power of the beginning when they turn and hit you with the wall of sound actually makes me cry! This is a show where the title really describes how I feel at the end as if I have been brought back into the light😁👍❤️. Thank you so much for another amazing reaction 👏👏👏👏

I love seeing folks getting lost in the music and showmanship of good marching bands.
Band kids are given a bad rep in HS as nerds who couldn’t cut it as jocks, but it takes A LOT of physicality to be a proficient marching band member.
Do phantom 2022, do recent videos. We’ve all seen 2010 a hundred times
