Savannah was already 6-7 years old when the show started and Janelle was as big as a house. Im guessing their relationship was already platonic by then. Also Robyn had come into the picture and that’s when he really pulled away from all the wives…

Yes, he started to pull away after Robyn, obviously since that’s all they talk about and why everybody left, but it was a process and didn’t happen over might. I don’t believe the the sex life with Janelle or Christine was non-existing, but less and less freequent. Also she was probably referring to the years they did have sex, and to everybody’s suprise had a probably pretty active sex life. Kodys responds seems to support this, and he usually denies everything at the moment.

The “ Friendship” she had between she and Kody with little interaction, emotionally and physically intimate we’re not priorities of hers. She didn’t like having Kody under foot and having to deal with his BS. Getting together periodically and sharing friendship conversations about the rest of the family etc.. made her feel like she had a unique relationship with Kody. Meanwhile she was able too live her daily life in an independent way, doing whatever she wanted to basically. Good grief she even admitted she hadn’t wanted to raise her own children and hates cooking.
She had a more independent free spirit than the others.
And spending time alone doing her own thing was what made her feel content.
Some may disagree but I speak from experience.
This is what I think also. She didn't want the bother of a husband who's around all the time. There are plenty of women like this. I was a teacher and knew several women who wanted children but not the bother of a husband.
