So, the device itself doesn't have speakers. It simply acts as a cd reader to send the music to nearby bluetooth speakers for playback or as a player if you have headphones connected. Did you try using connected wired headphones, i don't imagine a small lightweight device of this sort can drive cans above your average low cost kind. Shame it doesn't come with a way to control it outside of using the onboard buttons. It seems like a mistake or oversight on their part, but if it's a low-cost device, i can see why. Did you compare the playback of Sherry using the device to say, streaming it on your phone & casting it to the speaker. If there was no discernable audio difference, i don't know who this device would be geared toward. Is it more aesthetically pleasing than anything else? People who own cds tend to like using the devices cds were created for & devices capable of cd audio quality playback. Thanks for your review.
nice design but a bit big to carry around in your pocket, also bluetooth transmission compresses the signal to almost mp3 quality. My solution was to buy 2 or 3 used panasonic discman players from the 2000's, they fit in your pocket and sound awesome with headphones (you can walk around the house, without bothering others with the music, specially late at night).
Brendon, off subject, what do you think of the original AAD cds from the 80s. All my early KISS cds are in this form. I know you like the 90s remastered KISS cds. How do these hold up to the remasters, in your opinion. Thanks.
CDs and CD players are now officially antiques now - I say what better way to celebrate this new status - I'll be buying this at some point! 😀
I love the cd player. It is very classy and beautiful!
Hi Brendon!
To be honest with you, your great CD collection deserves better gear!
But from an architetur point of view it is very fashion !
Cheers 💿💿
This is a review…not the equipment I use.
Next time Audio Research with Wilson Audio🤘😃
I'm old school... with amp... cd player... tuner... equalizer...turntable... 4 speaker system...can't compete with 70s equipment
There is nothing about this that was trying to compete…it’s different technology for different function.
This can be pair with a two wireless bluetooth speakers like the Heos 5 to make a stereo?
I have the white speaker and the white CD player. It looks nice sitting together.
cool review ...it kinda looks like an giant smoke alarm... haha ...thanx man
They should make one that you turn on and skip tracks by blowing smoke on it.

Is the player only compatible with their speaker, or can I use any other Bluetooth speaker with it?

Id like to mount it on its side with the door open...I wonder if thats a problem?
Can you tell us about the battery life---- how long does it play before needing to be re-charged? thanks!
I’ll have to test that and get back to you. There was no info on it from the company.

Not that you can’t take this on the go, but this one isn’t meant for that. It’s meant to be own display.
@@BrendonSnyder it's cool, looks great in a living room
Trettitre is 33 in Norwegian or Swedish 😎👍

I’ve never compared them. I also don’t own any of the originals now, only the remasters.
@@BrendonSnyder Thank you for the response.
Hi! Does it work with HomePod??
As far as I know it works with any Bluetooth device so a HomePod should work.
Nice Ad
😂😂😂
Informative, but I wish also you did an analysis of the player’s sound.
The player itself doesn’t affect the sound as much as the speakers used to listen it. That’s why I didn’t speak about “sound”.
Bluetooth doesn't work on Bose Home Speaker 500. Think i'll give it back with Amazon
👍
👍
I feel so old, I think the last cd player I had was in a boombox. I would test it on a Slayer album 😄🤘
I’m a proud user since 1989! 👍
