I retired last year in the Philippines. You can retire in many countries for about 1500 a month and be comfortable. Keep a little cushion for medical emergencies.
How old is Guillermo? What does he do for health care and emergencies? Very interesting life and way of leaving. Thank you for your time and the information on all of your videos.
Love this. ! I am actually going to be moving to San pancho or Lo de Marcos. Probably in 2024. I am in the 700.00 -800.00 range for monthly income right. Now. Anyway… I won’t bore you with my life and reasons to move my life. I am 60. I will be in San Pancho this coming Oct 5-12 to do research on my move . I was ordering if you might have some advice and or contact info while I am there concerning long term rentals and such. Maybe we could meet ? I have rented a anrb in San pancho. Thank you for your videos and consideration. 😁
Real State people are taking advantage everywhere, I talked to someone that bought a house in Tijuana, Mexico, 20 years ago and he said that now , prices are so high that for him would be impossibly to buy that same house nowadays.
Guillermo is an inspiration. Some day I wish to visit him and hang around for a month. 🎉🎉🎉 In Northeast India, a couple can live decently (not lavish) on $500 a month easy.🎉🎉🎉🎉.
thanks for all the info, I love your videos . I like the one in lo de Marco with Memo living on 600 dollars a month. I would like to email him. Do you have his email address.
Good day, I could use your help for my trip to Lo de Marcos. I am looking for loging that will not cost an arm and a leg. My trip would be from mid October to mid December. I am travelling alone and would prefer a ground floor lodging. All I find is rather pricy, can you help, recommend or tell me about some place that would be priced reasonably? Anne
Glad I subscribed and continue seeing your videos; I’ve been to Mexico twice for dental work and also spent a month In Guadalajara attending TESOL training; unfortunately, wasn’t able to stay and teach at that time. Anxious to return.
I think he does live in a great town. My wife and I would not be eligible for their health plan because of our pre-existing conditions. Jerry, realistically, we cannot "prepare" for retirement because of children who can be and was expensive. I am very happy for William, he is a kind person.
You can’t live in Thailand for $600. That is wrong information maybe Laos the problem with Mexico it’s one of the most dangerous country in the world. That is scary
My kind of living❤!
Another good interview. Thanks for update with him and bringing us to another affordable option
Our pleasure!

Wow, imagine how devastating this is to local people: a 100% increase in living expenses in 5 years.
Happy new year . Congrats!
Memo looks like he did 5 yrs ago, not getting older, must be the water, or the hot water from the black hose.
Lo de Marcos has grown in all of its prices HORRENDOUSLY. Just in the past year, the real estate prices have more than DOUBLED.

@@mimi1o8 My friends in Dallas, TX say the same thing, but 25 years ago they purchased their home.
love it.. looks peaceful

Is Colombia cheaper than Mexico for overall cost of living?

How about a video living on $800-$1,000, and then $1,200-$1,500 a month?
Such good prices on everything ❤️
I would not care to live off the grid.
