This is the first time i saw a crowd going over the limit. I know Scogin doesn’t like to live off of past glories, but damn, a 10 year reunion tour would be fitting
A few years back, I played in a band that opened for ‘68 in Indianapolis. During ‘68’s set, there was such a crazy amount of people yelling Chariot references in between songs(decent amount of Norma Jean too), to the point Josh told them to basically pump the brakes. I understand he’s there to play ‘68, but It’s hard to dismiss what a colossal impact The Chariot left on so many people.
I met him at a VIP thing before a show and had him sign the album cover for Luti-Kriss - Throwing Myself. He actually got a good laugh out of it and looked through it for a few minutes lol
Dude the change in the crowd was instant the moment we heard him start this bridge and we all lost it. I was the first guy in the blue tanktop and I felt like I was leading a spearhead aha. That energy surge felt so crazy to experience that change in person like that.
I’m confused as to why a barricade but no security?? I understand he was helping out, but also seemed upset? Safety is an obvious concern but he took some liberties to shove and pull people down instead of guiding them down.
@@26zvb I mean dude has an expensive piece of equipment and probably didn't sign up to be security detail. I don't think he took any liberties but I understand why he's mad.
He seemed like he was being a douchebag tough guy. He was on the other side, and ran over to try and shove that white boi back in the crowd. If he was white, y'all be crying. He's too rough, cancel him.
Most beautiful goddamn thing I saw all weekend. Love how the 30 seconds it took my brain to process they were playing a The Chariot song is represented here with the delay in the crowd surge 😂👏🏻
So emotional, so perfectly shot. The perfection of the stage dive + the camera zoom + the choir starting after "this is a revolution" gives me chills. LONG LIVE.
If we could have a chariot reunion in the shed for furnace fest 2023!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🤯🤯🤯 double staff the safety guards. Everyone would be in the air by the end
I seriously cannot thank you enough for capturing this, I watch this at least once a month and I usually end up tearing up. I'm so so glad I got to be there, I honestly would be sick to my stomach if I would have missed this
100% the same, I watch it regularly haha. I did not expect to be front row and filming, and as much as I love Josh, I'm not that big into '68 compared to the greatest band ever The Chariot. I got extremely lucky and happened to be recording right when the song started and knew immediately I had to capture it all and edit it.
Finally a '68 show where the crowd isn't just dead sitting there. Like its so weird to watch live videos of them going crazy and most of the time the audience isn't even moshing.
I would seriously die for a chariot reunion show, but yes, I've been dreaming about Josh fronting the new ETID group but unfortunately I highly doubt he would ever do that :( LONG LIVE.
I didn't see them :-( edit: I realized I said I didn't see them the day before they played haha. Unfortunately I still didn't catch them yesterday after being too destroyed by maylene.
Bike rack barricade and no security. Unbelievably poor management by Furnace Fest production. Crowds will do what they do but the festival has no excuse to have no one there to manage peoples safety at a god damn rock fest.

new music channel up
Proof that chariot fans are still out there and STARVING for new music. I'm one of them.
Same
Long Live.
Long live.
Couldn’t agree more!!
LONG LIVE! I had dinner with them after a show once at fuckin Dennys in SLC, it was the most violent show I’d ever been to. It was an amazing night!
This is the first time i saw a crowd going over the limit. I know Scogin doesn’t like to live off of past glories, but damn, a 10 year reunion tour would be fitting
There are no words to express how beautiful this is.
Orange shirt hitting the phenomenal stage dive right at the "THIS IS A REVOLUTION!!" mark is some shit ya never forget. Lol
This was the best 2 mins of my life so far I think.

The people in the front were not ready for what was about to go down 😂
And yet, this is tame compared to a The Chariot show.

That barricade surge was no joke. Kudos to photographer for helping people. Awesome vid.

One of my favorite furnace memories for sure.
This guy doesn't age. Eternal baby face!!!
So emotional, so perfectly shot. The perfection of the stage dive + the camera zoom + the choir starting after "this is a revolution" gives me chills.

Honestly perfect

Couldn't of said it better myself.
long live the chariot

love that you can see the guys behind the stage get hyped

I could watch this over and over.
This gives me soo many feels and smiles . This moment goes down in Furnace Fest history
wish I could see chariot live just one more time
Me too
I only got to see the chariot once and it was for their first CD. A reunion would be amazing.
Thanks for uploading!
LONGLIVE. This is the proof of an everlasting.
1:36 Josh tossing the mic was the coolest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.
Hell yeah! Long live the chariot!
Long Live.
Thanks for making me tear up.
LET THE HISTORY BOOK READ WITH ALL OF OUR NAMES, BE IT BLOOD OR BE IT INK OH BUT AT LEAST WE WERE FREE
One of my really good friends was the second person to stage dive. Proud of him for clearing the gap.
Man I tried to swap camera hands to help catch but I couldn't do it fast enough!
@@calebisstupid Im sure he appreciates the effort to try to help. I know he almost took out Josh so he lost momentum due to dodging.
@@calebisstupid you tried and I appreciate that lol. First time I’ve stage dove in 6-7 years 😂 it’s a young man’s game
@@davidtonymoore hahaha I FEEL that hard! Hope you're good!
@@calebisstupid I’m amazing brother. Have a great fest
This is awesome as hell. Glad I was there for it and glad you caught in on camera ❤

Amazing. Thank you for this.

Wow I wish I was there
I love '68 but i would be elated if Scogin rebooted The Chariot or joined the ETID dudes.
Edit: LONG LIVE
I would seriously die for a chariot reunion show, but yes, I've been dreaming about Josh fronting the new ETID group but unfortunately I highly doubt he would ever do that :(
LONG LIVE.
This is probably the closest we will ever get and I was THERE. And I was the first one to get UP... so stoked I was there
Wow Josh + ETID will be one of the best live acts
LONG LIVE
Long live!
Fuck yea!!!
The Chariot should just go on tour with The Dillinger Escape Plan
Yea anyone covering the chariot is gonna have one hell of a crowd reaction
Well, not really... mostly applied to Josh and Josh alone I'd wager.
i can't call a song sung by the same singer a cover. i see it as a variation
Blindside please 🙏🏻 😊
I didn't see them :-(
edit: I realized I said I didn't see them the day before they played haha. Unfortunately I still didn't catch them yesterday after being too destroyed by maylene.
Drummer looks so much better with the buzz cut.
Long live 💀
LONG LIVE!
RIP to everyone in the front row
This looks like the most uncomfortable situation I could ever find myself in
This was tame compared to chariot shows. They were an experience
@@puck2113Your comment unlocked a memory of this guy jumping off a roof into the crowd
What did you record with? GoPro?
Yup GoPro max
@@calebisstupid picked up the sound great! Thanks for capturing some of the fest. I wanted to be there!
it must be said
no. fucking. way.
Those 300-pounders need to lay off the stage diving lmao. They're not spring chickens anymore. They have big boy mass.
guy in the front w the stache wouldn't have lasted 15 seconds w the OG chariot
Stage security must have been in the pit. Of course, not the arm pit, but the mosh pit. My mom saw that over there by the blue door.
Average at best, but cool to see people enjoying it
Fuqn' crying
Can we just stop this 68 shit and bring back the chariot?

This is how people get crushed and die at concerts.
This is the only thing this band has ever done that I've liked and I still kind of think it's lame.
The Chariot shows make this look like nothing
no
Wait, The Chariot got back together?
