Thank you sir,I am really enjoying your video's,.My boat is an old 86 Chaparral that I had to rebuild from the stringers up and repowered her with a 2007 Mercruiser magnum 350 Fuel injected,.Almost done.I have more time than money..Not that it was cheap but its better to build it over time than pay a bank..LOL..Looking back I should have built an outboard boat but I always wanted one of these and I figure if I dont like it I could trade fro something else. The intercoastal is all we wnt 2 do.thnx

This trip was over some time as I was taking side trips as well. I have gone from Lake Okeechobee to Clearwater though in 1 day (in the C-Dory), so 200+ miles a day is not unreasonable. Signs are posted along the waterway as to speeds, you will not miss them. Good luck with your move and you're right in my opinion on the opportunities (for this whole section of Florida).

I mean how long from Anclote to St pete..it appears to only be about 35 miles...I want to move to Clearwater/Largo but keep getting out bid on houses so I am stuck having to move to Holiday.I maily would like to know if its quick and easy to boat from the anclote to Clearwater..And then from clearwater to st Johns pass.

That is a great place to hole up - did so a number of times. If needed, there is a hurricane hole completely protected by continuing on under the bridge and look to port (about 100 yards down). I used to carry a locking cable as insurance so I knew the boat would be there when I got back on those long shopping trips in Publix (in other words, you can't see your boat from Publix - you can from McDonalds).

Good deal. That setup will be inexpensive and direct drive is stone simple. Best of luck learning that water!
