A300 ULTIMA PATROL BUTTSTOCK QD SLING MOUNT FIX / MOD

Quick and easy fix for the sling placement on the A300 stock. Many have complained about the bottom factory location of the mount, this is a clean and easy way to add an additional QD to the side of the stock for about $20.

A trick to not go to far with a steeped drill bit is to tape up the bit to the max depth. Also work slowly and take your time.

It’s anti-rotation, has to be to tighten.

I just bought an A300…can you install the swivel (hole) at the center of the stock? I was thinking of drilling the hole at 1.25” from rear, but center it…is there a reason you have yours closer to the top of butt stock? Please advise.

Just seemed like it would hang better if most of the weight was below the QD. There isn’t really that much room inside that area. Probably wouldn’t make much of a difference, but I’m no expert, lol.

Standard bit should be fine, just had the step bit in the drill.
