1:16 I wasn't too impressed with the first couple since it was just supee bad defense. But this, this hit different. I felt the atmosphere of that stadium when he jumped. Like that hit me and I was like damn.
Incoming: Geezers talking about "they need to teach them how to tackle" "that's poor execution" "these kids wouldn't last in older style football". They're kids. Kids aren't perfect, and some are not good at all. The good ones may play in college one day and some of them may even go to the NFL...but this is a highschool and under video.
I miss playing highschool football. I've watched this video and found it very entertaining, but in reality these kids wouldn't last one practice the way we played in the 80s and they way our older brothers, dads played before that. 2 adays was boot camp, plain and simple, practices were wars preparing you for Friday night war, tackling drills were brutal, contact, wrap, helmet underneath the chin, the fathers came to watch practice after leaving the plant. Bloody noses, stitched up chins, sprained ankles, scraped knuckles, little water breaks, drill sergeant coaching staff, mom patching you up when you got home and washing the blood off your clothes. You paid the damn price, to play under the Friday night lights!
The brutal nature of the game was more intense, for sure, but todays football has a finesse that we only dreamed of. Kids practice year round, with only small windows during the spring where they are in powerlifting, track, or basketball. Kids spend all summer lifting weights and doing cardio. They are bigger, stronger, and faster than we were. They also have a passing attack that less than 5% of the old school teams had. I think my generation had much harder hitters, but this new crop are much better athletes. My kid is only 15 and he's much stronger and faster than I was at 18.
Exactly. Showing my age but so be it. In '92 our senior year we did Oklahoma/middle drill/nutcracker every Tuesday& Wednesday of Game Week. Nobody hits in practice like that anymore
They just don't teach them fundamentals of football anymore do they like tackling wrapping up and some of these teams are so slow you would have to time them with a sundial in the 40
I'm playing highschool ball right now y'all fr need to stop saying people can't tackle they can't tackle cause they're trash plain and simple I've beaten kids that are way stronger than me just from technique and my coaches taught me everything and because of that I usually don't get beat yeah it happens but don't say people can't tackle of you don't know what true tackling looks like
5:07 Illegal play. The ball did not leave the snapper's hands immediately. Illegal snap on the offense, 5 yard penalty, still 4th down. Creative though.
@@bredust29 At one point in time that was legal. However #7 was on the line-of-scrimmage as he was lined up next to the snapper and it is illegal to have a planned loose ball in the vicinity of the snapper and have a player who was on the line-of-scrimmage advance the ball. No more fumble-rooski plays.
Aye take my word on it, if y’all like watching these vids, check out the human highlight reel Jacob mays, dude is the most gifted I’ve ever played with. Search Jacob mays north Murray high school
marowak madness Najee Harris, the guy in the thumbnail, was the nation's top prospect coming out of high school football. He played Runningback at Antioch and committed to Alabama, in which he's looking very promising as of late.
6:45 let's admire how they cleared the way for little dude
I was about to comment that the blocking was actually great for little league
@@generalgentry8879 yeah man that’s actually some pretty high football IQ at that age, especially because they were all legal blocks.
Speaks volumes about the coaching. Great team effort.
1:23. One of the most amazing things I've ever seen.
1:58
Chase Dean nah he hurdled 2 guys and jumped 15 ft
@@ChillestSkeleton not that impressive when you see it all the time
dude jumped ten yards and was high enough to clear 2 guys... yea that was crazyyyy
Someone needs to show these some of these kids how to tackle
Watching the NFL too much where people will normally just throw a shoulder into somebody hoping to knock them off their feet
Alllan Muc I know right they don’t know how to wrap up and grab cloth. Man my coach would kill us if we talked like that😂😂
Alllan Muc someone needs to show you how to use grammar
Yeah you do better against a 5 star running back
That’s what I was saying
6:26 dat stiff arm was vicious
Dude was tall as hell😭😭
1:16 did he hurdlet 2 guys???

Was finna comment that
No I think he hurdled 2 guys

6:40 😂 little dude does not want to get tackled. I remember those days
the second to the last clip was, for me, the best. that kid had a number of good blocks and i love the way he just collapsed at the end! thx!
They just don't teach them fundamentals of football anymore do they like tackling wrapping up and some of these teams are so slow you would have to time them with a sundial in the 40
kameron steel probably playing the worse team of their division , that's how most get their highlights
kameron steel or they just work harder than others
Lol
6:38 boy got Baptized
6:44 Brady took it all the way.
7:35 he got laid out
These kids couldn’t tackle the quiet kid in the corner of the class

They need to drug test the entire offense at 6:40 they out here laying NFL blocks on 12 year olds

Christian Clark y
I think my team was one of those lmao, and it was the other teams cool play
Best o line 7:00
1:33 this kid could’ve easily scored a td but decided he wanted to break a bunch of tackles instead
It’s just a bunch of kids missing tackles. Making the other dude look good.
blocked punt was hilarious
the 1st guy is gonna get a scholarship bet

Tony Moss ran for Bossier High '82-'86, he had rubber legs and would absolutely have made this list if there was footage.
5:07 IQ 1000+
The last one was in my home town they played it on the news the next day
1:08 is cam Akers playing against my highschool
1:18 guy hurdled two people
1:19 BRO JUMPED OVER 2 PEOPLE
Isn't 5:30 an illegal play? #7 is lined-up as a guard and isn't supposed to be able to take the snap.
And a false start on every damn body😭😭
First two plays be like: *User truck*
0:42 most awesomest play ever omgwtfbbq

How is the music called?
5:07 Illegal play. The ball did not leave the snapper's hands immediately. Illegal snap on the offense, 5 yard penalty, still 4th down. Creative though.
It would've been legal if he put the ball on the ground tho, I've seen a team do that once

Exhibit 1A how not to tackle
This is why high school don't get enough attention on tv because of these types of kids that do not tackle
How is he still standing is the question of the whole video
No one's talking about 7:16
Cant wait tell my son is old enough to play... kids already got a arm on him
Well I hope every kid that plays has an arm, if not, that's just a disadvantage
@@lsw_skillz6807 haha nice one... that player for Seattle Seahawks only has one hand he gone pretty far though lol
So we’re gonna sit here and not talk about #1 2:04
Coaches should at least try to do his job and teach them how to tackle waste or lower, not upper body
0:49 oh boy them kids gonna be running next practice for not wrapping up
If I was on defense I would’ve put most of those guys on offense to sleep
Who was the first highlight?
Some of the worst tackling I've ever seen...lol

Those who fuck up are on the highlight reel plain and simple
How do they make it to this level without knowing the basics of tackling? Even the basics for containment as well. Poorly coached defense.
Another prime example why you wrap the legs with your arms...poor tackling technique at its best here
Aaron Belden that shit hurts
In the thumbnail he has an Antioch jersey on but Antioch high is trash at football

I don’t see all the cool highlights, I see a lot of players who gonna be doing a lot of conditioning drills after film lmao
Go on hudl and see Jared Wilson RB
I call total b.s.! I have no respect for teams using cheat codes 🤣
I wonder how many of these kids made it to the nba

Most of these are just niggas that been in highschool for 7 years.
