- A compilation of the greatest catches in College Football History. This includes insane one handed catches, superman-like diving catches, and other crazy snags that had us all wanting to see a replay. Keep in mind this video is covering all kinds of catches, so you will find both offensive receptions and defensive interceptions in this video. Some of these plays had a big impact on the game, while others did not, but all of these plays were memorable to College Football fans. If you have any ideas for future College Football compilation videos, let me know in the comments. Enjoy!

Any plays that should be in part 2? 👀
Edit: Part 2 is live! th-cam.com/video/xvED_aVcjLs/w-d-xo.html
Still haven't seen the video, but Auburn vs Alabama 2015. Jason Smith tipped to himself
I'm telling you look through Tyler Boyds highlights you'll find a few that should be 💯💯
Cody Hoffman's touchdown catch against Georgia Tech in 2013!
Treylon Burks one handed catch versus Ole Miss in 2020 is a really good one.
Trevor Lawerence's pass to Justin Ross that resulted in a touchdown against Alabama.
I have an idea for a video. Games won due to onside kick recoveries. Example: FSU vs GT ‘92. FSU was down like 19-7 in the 4th, scored a TD, recovered the onside kick, scored again to win the game.
Alabama Clemson 2015 too. It basically gave all the momentum to Alabama. Once Kenyan Drake scored, it was over.
Michigan vs Michigan state 2004.
Texas vs Texas tech 2020, horns won down 15 with 3:13 to play
Wide right🙌🏾
2014 Armed Forces Bowl. UH recovered two straight to come back against Pitt and win.
Apparently, catching a pass behind the back of a defender is not nearly as rare a feat as I thought.
At least westercamp did it with no help
1:02 It's like the camera man was asleep and got woke up by the crowds cheers and had no idea what was going on 😂
It's weird seeing Kevin King actually playing good coverage
😄😆😂🤣 that got me. 👍🏻
Julio Jones had amazing speed & agility.. the Tide was blessed to have this mountain of talent!!
Dobson at 4:00 is lucky he didn't get an ejection after that catch when he elbowed that ref out of the way
I love that you included INT in these as well keep up the great work
Ceedee Lambs catch against UCLA needs to be on here. I know it wasn’t ruled a catch but it should’ve been and is still one of the best catches I’ve ever seen in person
I know that’s such bullshit that it was ruled a non catch he caught that ball
Lamb pretty much needs his own highlight video. He was an absolute beast and was always fun to watch him. As an OU fan, I miss him a LOT lol
@@YouOnlyIiveTwice Good thing about OU is they always have another one. Marvin Mims, Mario Williams.
@@xxisitinyet2xx absolutely!
@@YouOnlyIiveTwice I’m a huge Sooner fan as well and we got a lot of great guys to create some more amazing moments and highlights Marvin Mims, Mario Williams, Drake Stoops, and Theo Wease are gonna be stars
My first time seeing the play @3:56 but damn that's the best catch I've seen
10:04
I was at that game! First Husker game. Watched as they reviewed it and went crazy when I realized it never touched the ground, even though it was a Rutgers catch. Will never forget it!
Need an updated version of this 💯💯🔥
Nice to see Marshall on here. I was there for that catch by Dobson, I was right on the front row of the student section (I’d sneak in there to get better seats when I was like 15) in person, that catch was mind blowing
3:23 that’s the kind of energy we need from refs
If Tyrone prothro wouldn’t have broken his leg he would have been an elite nfl wide receiver. Everyone forgets about him but he was pure talent
Best receiver , could you imagine what his record would have looked like?
1.AWESOME
2.AWESOME
3.MORE AWESOME
4.ETC,ETC, ETC!!!! 🔥🔥
I knew the famous LSU TA&M contest would make the cut in this. And that ball placement by Kellen Mond too.
1st off why couldnt Driskel play like that while at UF, 2ndly nice having the 2 HBCUs in the footage, and 3rdly keep slapping us with the FIRE🔥🔥 content.
Driskel was trash at uf. Leaves and becomes a beast
@@cyruscooper2626 I agree, like where was this at when you were in the SEC?
A nomination for use in another "greatest catches" vid from a Sooner fan: #2 ranked OU's Andre Wolfolk's 2nd qtr catch versus #1 Nebraska in 2000. The ABC sideline reporter present for the the game and NFL HOF receiver Lynn Swann said it was "deja vu all over again" comparing Wolfolk's catch to Swann's famous and historical catch versus the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl X.
they better have the westerkamp behind the back catch in here
Edit: good
Catching the ball with your hands is nothing .. compared to using your ass!!!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Landry and OBJ were so tough at LSU
I remember that 2013 game. Sort of Dak's coming out party. We would take the lead, or get within a score, and the qb would just throw it their way. We, more often than not, would have great coverage, and it didn't matter. They would go get it. Time after time
Need to do a college fullback tribute.
Javess Blue from Kentucky had a great one-handed grab for a TD back in 2014.
Clemson hunter renfrow's crazy diving catch vs syracuse
Crazy to think at one point southern miss was beating Alabama 21-10. Yes, I know this is from 15 years ago, but still.
Nice vid. You missed a couple Oregon ones. 2 from the 2015 ASU game. 1 from the end of the 2016 utah game. We also had a couple against TCU in 2015.
Deanthony thomas against U of A in 2013 also
That Calvin Johnson catch is unbelievable
Central Florida vs Temple catch was incredible
that tyrone prothro had the best catch and nastiest leg injury I’ve ever seen.
I remember watching that leg injury live. Nastiest injury I’ve ever seen in sports.
It was heart wrenching to say the least!!
This is so dope!
Thanks!
@@pschighlights NP!
Let's talk about the best thumbnail Eva juice landry
Equipment manager Amelia Sneed is the greatest catch in college football history. What a catch! 😍
Jaxon Smith-Njigba's TD catch against Nebraska last year comes to mind. Full extension and twisted his body just the right way to get the toe tap in bounds for the score
Also KJ Hill's one handed catch against Minnesota in 2018
Extra credit to anyone of these guys that made a catch before the gloves were made of Gorilla Glue.
3:16 I think that's the play that won Charles Woodson a Heisman.
Saw the Texas A&M Rogers catch and knew this was complete
6:36 it’s cool to see Fitz on here knowing how well he turned out in the NFL!
- "Wow. He was still in the locker room when he made that catch. Incredible."
Why is that referee saying Michigan ball with emphasis at 3:23 😂
Sticky gloves really changed college football
Dynasty Killers. Games that marked the end of a dynasty, be it a conference dynasty or a National Powerhouse.
These programs aren't necessarily in the gutter, but it's clear that they were never the same after that game. App St and Michigan comes to mind.
Alabama vs Florida State 2017
Alabama vs Florida 2009
Alabama vs Texas 2009
One name, Prothro!
The Charles Woodson play is so underrated! Still is the only defensive player to win the Heisman! Go Blue!
Back when the Heisman actually went to the BEST PLAYER in college football. Now it’s basically an award for the best offensive player on the best team in the country.
Tbh I miss the old lsu logo cbs used in the early 2010s on their broadcasts
Do best goal line stands in college football history
How about some absolutely leveling lead blocks and lineman pulls??
Anthony Miller should have THREE catches that rise to the level of this group of catches at Memphis...onehanders, layout dives, and all...
I've made several catches like this.
And then I woke up.
Tyrone Prothro’s catch is the best catch in football history imo
And the interview the next Monday was the most embarrassing.
@@THEADVENTURECHANNEL11 elaborate?
Havent watched this yet. I will dislike if Miles Boykin's catch against LSU in 2019 isn't on here. Thanks.
LETS GOOOO
omfg KEVIN KING IS GOOD IN PART OF THIS VIDEO I NEVER KNEW HE COULD BE GOOD AS A PACKERS FAN
I KNOW GEORGIA WILL BE ON HERE I CAN JUST TELL A LOT OF PEOPLE FORGEY ABOUT THE JAVON WIMS CATCH VS FLORIDA SO HOPEFULLY YOU INCLUDED THAT 👍
Ok buddy just calm down
@@Luke-uh7lq ALL CAPS BROKEN
No videos of Josh Doctson from TCU a few years ago? Not a complete video without!
Came here to make sure westerkamps behind the back catch was in here
I hope ure planning on best runs in college football history
I was waiting for the Jourdan Lewis flying interception against Wisconsin😅
Iowa’s two plays on here are interceptions 😂 that’s my defense!
Go hawks ❤
13:27 he air dribbled
Go Dawgs
Look up Kenny Lawler from Cal.
7:40 SKO BUFFS
Already knew Justyn Ross would be in this twice
Only one for Ross. Tee Higgins had two though.
That ref was ready for his time on the air 3:20
Prothro was going to be an elite NFL wr..then his leg broke.
More so the complications after surgery is what killed his NFL chances
@@mikehancho695 true
Video idea: culture changing games/plays. Like for example a bad team beating a good team or a rival in a pivotal game and that ending up rocketing their program into success?
I don't want to take anything away from the players -- there are some fabulous catches here -- but you have to wonder how many of them would have been possible without those sticky-as-superglue gloves receivers wear nowadays.
Where’s Allen Lazard vs Oklahoma in 2017? Also Hakeem Butler vs Kansas
5:50 alley oop catch that shits at like 10 ft
0:00 Thank you for starting out with LSU! GEAUX TIGERS 🐯
Overrated
@@crypt_yt9328 I don’t think so.😤 We are the #1 College Football Playoff BCS/National Championship team on the list (2019).
Me too I have an idea when Oregon blew out FSU
So awesome to see both Howard and Woodson from "THE VICTORS".....make this video. #21.....#2......GO BLUE!! Thanks for NOT playing your college football in Columbus, Ohio!.....I know, it's pathetic! But it's ALL that us die hard Wolverine fans have to go to....😪😂....Get it together Shitagain!
may be a biased broncos fan, but THAT catch by marvin mims jr should be in here
Wait, did that Ohio State player pin the ball on dude’s back with one hand?! That was crazy good!!
So many ppl have done that lmao but yes it was incredible
@@crypt_yt9328 I know, but I watched a few of them and most used both hands. Dude used one hand, then used both hands as they were falling to the ground.....
Tennessee Hail Mary
Amari Cooper
Julio Jones
Auburn vs Georgia 2013
Baylor vs Oklahoma 2011
National Championship game 2018 (sorry Georgia)
LSU Earthquake game
Florida vs Tennessee 2017 hail mary
Byu hail marys
Alabama vs Arkansas 2007
Thanks for all these. The main reason I did not include most of these is because I focused more on plays that were due to the skill of the receiver as opposed to a lucky deflection. But in part 2 I will include more plays like that.
@@pschighlights Also Nebraska vs Northwestern hail mary. That one was crazy
And Central Michigan vs OkSt
First for prothro
4:03
Hakeem Butler Vs Baylor should be on here
I wish Josh Jackson could make plays like that now
You know, there are worse things as a defensive back to have happen to you than getting the ball caught on your back. Yeah, you've just been embarrassed by your assignment, but at least you got a hug.
Actually its not embarrassing. Its good coverage but the receiver just makes the most of it
Better have the catch when the Bama receiver caught it on the back if the corners helmet
My bad 2nd clip! Das up lol
Treylon Burks vs Ole Miss
3 BYU plays that should've been included:
1. Lopini Katoa diving catch against UCF in the 2020 Boca Raton Bowl
2. Johnny Harline catches over the top of a Utah defender in the 2006 Holy War
3. Cody Hoffman one-handed catch against Oregon State, I can't remember the year tho (sometime in the early 2010s)
I knew my boy was gonna be on here 4:38
Can’t stand the Noles, but Warrick was a machine. Rest In Peace to Bobby Bowden.
I’m not liking the number of times ND was on the losing end of the play.
Tyler Johnson vs auburn
YSU ON THE LAST PLAY OF THE GAME TO TAKE THE LEAD TO GO TO THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP OMG
wait wait wait…. kevin king caught it???
15:39 end
13:31 uhhhhhh what
Man whatever happened to that corner back from Iowa? He was a real lock down player i really don't watch the NATIONAL FAKE LEAGUE anymore because you can clearly see whats going on out there but what team does he play for and is he doing well
You forgot to add the miracle in Missouri
Do "craziest one hand catches"
Prothro
Guess you can tell I'm a auburn fan not 2 plays into the video and you gonna make me comment damn bammer!!! I've never considered the first play a catch cause by rule it's not, watch that ball carefully when he hits the ground!! It moves plain as a day ! And as much as I hate Alabama to me that is the greatest catch of all time!! And he made a damn lot of spectacular catches!! That is my #2 favorite player of all time, especially to get robbed by horrible coatching!! What happened to him should of NEVER happened. And ALABAMA has always been old with it and so has their fans. Surprised players aren't scared to go there. They was up like 35-0 in the 3rd, at home!! Sad part about it way I remember it they threw him a desperate pass (up35-0) and he broke it trying to make another spectacular catch!
Which one was your favorite?
The one handed grab in ND vs LSU
A tie TJ Vasher TTech one handed snag & Kevin King Udub pick in the end zone!💯👍🏾✌🏾
@@ncaasports684 that play is so underrated. Not only an amazing catch, but also a great run after the catch.
Alabama vs USM catch because it was the first game I ever watched. I was 3.
Josh Jackson's one-handed pick of JT Barrett. But that's just me being the diehard Hawkeye fan I am.

Most lopsided bowl games?
What business does San Jose State have playing Alabama😂
What some people do for money .
Why’d jake Fromm not a nfl starter
i miss kevin king not being a burnt piece of toast
"It was picked of by Kevin King" Think the packers would of wanted that kevin king
