I love all these tips! But i want to mention, eating protein, carbs and fat first thing in the morning is essential for hormonal balance and regulating stress hormones. Working out on an empty stomach is only going to spike your cortisol! Would highly recommend looking into prometabolic eating for female physiology, anxiety and hormonal balancing ❤
My sources are functional nutritionists who focus on female health and hormonal balancing, such as Cambria Joy and Jessica Ash on youtube and the Balancing Hormones Naturally podcast, as well as the experiences of many many women, myself included. Running on cortisol (which is what happens when you fast) feels good at first, because it's supposed to feel good as a survival mechanism until we get to safety, but over time it causes severe burnout of the adrenals and hormones. Highly recommend doing a deep dive into prometabolic eating for more info, there's lots of up and coming research on this stuff currently. Wish you all well on your healing journeys!

Getting a morning routine going was so essential for my mental health when I was unemployed for 7 months last year after moving to a different state. I went through a lot of changes and transitions, and not only that finding work was so hard. My mental health had been improving (I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder three years ago) but staying on that path to progress was hard when I felt non productive or like I was missing out on life. Even just challenging myself to wake up before 8am, go for a walk, and go to the library to get job applications submitted made me feel like I made the most of the time I had, and was doing something for myself. I'm employed now and that morning routine I started is still a priority even though I have to adjust it a bit. Good luck to everyone who is making positive changes for themselves. You're on the right track, so celebrate and lean into the little successes.

I love myself and my body and hence i dont starve and eat healthy balanced food including carbs, fats, protein and fiber. When one is accepts their body as is its so much easier to live happily and not spend time worrying about loosing weight and the anxiety that comes with it.

I work more than 60h per week. I used to think just as you but it really is about priorities and not being lazy and finding excuses. Paradoxically, I do for myself now more, than when I used to work way less. You just have to find motivation because this type of thinking won't get you anywhere.

I don't like having bad breath from breakfast (I also like eating savory dishes at breakfast) so I tend to brush teeth right after but turns out you're right, brushing before is better for teeth! Also how do you workout before breakfast? I feel extremely nauseous if I don't eat anything first thing in the morning 😭 All these tips are very helpful and relevant to my life right now, thank you for this!
I do prioritize sleep. I often linger in bed to memorize the dream I just had if I loved it or recall old favorites if I didn't. I pee when I first get out of bed. I swing my kettlebells at home and I do it barefoot which is what is recommended for better stability. It is fun and effective so I enjoy doing it. Lauren Brooks is my favorite instructor. Then I shower. I brush my teeth and oil cleanse my face after I shower. I have to apply moisturizer immediately after washing my face. It is dry and acne prone. I don't wear makeup. I don't like how it feels. Then I eat breakfast which is usually leftovers. I prefer savory and especially sour food. I don't have anxiety or stress. I have a calm personality. I'm also passive and easygoing. That gets stronger as I age and I'm 44 so it is quite strong. The only thing that truly bothers me is grief over losing our (Lee's and mine) younger son Thomas to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome seven weeks after his birth in 2011. I was ridiculously happy while he was alive and I've been primarily numb since he died. Our older son Daniel is daddy's boy. Thomas was mommy's boy. Daniel makes me miss him more and he looked exactly like Lee so I'll never get over losing him.
The thing that puts me off having an aura ring is surely it's an emf device? Which is attached to you all the time. This is why I won't have a smart watch. So are aura rings better?

We can still follow a lot of the tips. Not snoozing or scrolling on social media after waking up, keeping the phone out of the bedroom, sunlight in the morning on the way to work, get ready even when you won't leave the house, high protein breakfast etc.
Sadly Everything she recommends is over priced for most people. As much as I loved Sarah in the past she and a few other TH-camrs are not the same anymore and need to come back down to earth

I know she has a 3000$ red light device but really what else about this video was so ridiculously out of reach for someone trying to make healthier choices. Some medications cost 3000$ without insurance. we live in a world where people regularly spends $7 on a cup of coffee that has $500 calories in it. Idk I think these things are not that expensive when u think of the way people spend money in the western world regularly.

I was thinking this too! I am sensitive to caffeine (makes me anxious) but fell in love with matcha and thought it was ok because of the l-theanine. But removed it and can tell I am better without it even though I love the taste 😭
@@courtney4261 try replacing it with a naturally caffeine free herbal tea. My favorite right now is peppermint tea. It may take getting used to, but when you do, it's quite pleasant. And no anxiety from it. 🤍

I am wondering why you put on deodorant before exercising? To me, deodorant is something you want to apply when you're trying not to sweat, not when you're encouraging your body to sweat and clear toxins.
Some deodorants repress sweating and are actually not that healthy for your body. But the natural ones Sarah is using do not prevent sweating but keep bad smells away I personally never use deodorants that repress sweating:)

@@courtney4261 try replacing it with a naturally caffeine free herbal tea. My favorite right now is peppermint tea. It may take getting used to, but when you do, it's quite pleasant. And no anxiety from it. 🤍

I am wondering why you put on deodorant before exercising? To me, deodorant is something you want to apply when you're trying not to sweat, not when you're encouraging your body to sweat and clear toxins.
Deodorant is different from antiperspirant. Deodorant just takes the bad smell away (the smell of armpit sweat is a result of bacteria).
Some deodorants repress sweating and are actually not that healthy for your body. But the natural ones Sarah is using do not prevent sweating but keep bad smells away
I personally never use deodorants that repress sweating:)
