Hello 👋🏻 Drew & Cathy happy to see you out and about 😊 How amazing is this finding treasures that is still intact after many years being in the river. I sometimes look up different stoneware and boy is it expensive, but beautiful. Bottles are the same way. You both have many bottles and stoneware that would make you a killing. I wish you many more beautiful unblemished finds. Have a wonderful week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
You guys must have the most amazing bottle collection ever!!!! Lol!!!! You found some beauties!!!! I would have been very excited if it was me anyway!!!! Can't wait for part 2!!!!!!
Hi Anthony 👋😃 😴 We could never show our whole bottle collection.. (we're living in it, Lol) Many years (decades) of collecting, upgrading, etc. I hope we never have to move!😬 Anyway, Part 2 will not disappoint! Too many finds for one video (I couldn't handle all the editing). We waited at least a year for low water at that site.. probably longer. It was worth the wait. All those storms last year restocked the rivers. We are quite pleased with our finds! Hopefully Part 2 will go up next Friday night. -Cathy🙂
Hello Cathy and Drew. Lew and I enjoyed watching this video and it is a very nice one! Awesome bottle and marble finds. Too bad there were so many nice bottles broken in the spot where Drew showed us all of those shards. You found so many nice pipe stems to. 🙂The Johnson's American liniment bottle is a awesome find., it's a very nice early hinge mold bottle like you said on this video. Probably from the late 1860's to 1870 on that bottle? We haven't found one as old as that one yet. Always nice to see you guys back on the river again and also finding some cobalt bottles there. we are looking forward to watching Part 2 of this day. Take care and happy hunting to the both of you! -----Jeffrey Hull Jr. (Jeff & son Lew) PS --Happy Father's day Drew. 🙂
Hi Jeff & Lew, Glad you enjoyed the video. So many finds... Part 2 will not disappoint! That is the oldest Johnson's liniment we have found so far. We waited a year or more for the water to go down at that site. It was worth the wait! All those pipes/ stems were pretty much the same "McDougall / Scotland" but still fun finding them. (Drew finds a nicer one in Part 2!) Anyway, no more spoilers! Happy father's day to you also! -Cathy & Drew 🙂😎👍
Hi guys, I gotta say, I can always count on your videos to provide entertainment, as well as a glimpse into the past, in a peaceful, down to earth format. Drew's knowledge is amazing! I learn something new every visit. And Cathy's love of marbles and porcelain is inspiring. Love you guys. Happy picking!😎😍🤗
Thank you Judy! We are both life-long bottle collectors, so our accumulated knowledge of bottles is quite good. (Drew and I met at an antique bottle show!) I have grown to love even little "scraps" of history. . solving the mysteries, and repurposing old shards. Everything (and everyone) has a story and a purpose... No matter how broken. Glad you enjoy our videos! -Cathy🙂💖
Hi Amanda 👋😃 😴, We waited over a year ... Maybe two years, for low water at this spot! It was worth the wait! Part 2 will have more of everything in it (except more oil lamps 🤔, I think). But different stuff too! So glad I at least got half of it (video) done. We have been out a lot, which means I'm not home editing vids. "Retirement" is doing us in! 😬 Oh! I forgot to mention: a silly turkey laid an egg on our brick patio, next to the animals' water bowl! Our neighbor has an incubator, and took the egg for us! Never a dull moment here... What next? 😂🦃🥚
@@massriverpickers It's hilarious that retirement is doing you in lol! No rocking chairs on the porch for you two 😂It's fabulous that you rescued the turkey egg, please keep us updated on whether it hatches or not. 🦃Looking forward to part two of the video 😃💖x
I should have at least photographed the egg there on the patio. But I acted quickly, before the chucks or a raccoon came by for a drink of water... (I panicked). We will have about another three weeks to wait until it hatches. (If it does). Then I'm not sure who gets custody 🤔. It's like living at a circus 🎪. Part 2 is in the works! Hopefully next Friday night... If I'm on the ball. 😁💖
Hi Cynthia! 👋😃 Glad you enjoyed it! Sorry to leave folks hanging, but there were sooo many finds... It would have been a very long video! We've been out a lot lately, so I have lots of editing to do! We waited so long for low water. It was worth the wait! 😁😎👍
