From The Embers was a rec I got from Caitlin and read it last year! FIVE STARS
Right now, I don't know the reason why but, I'm obsessing with Fantasy Romance mainly Fae romance. Right now I love Elise Kova's Married to the Fae series, Deal with the Elf King, Dance with the Fae Prince, and I'm currently reading Duel with the Vampire lord( Which is a very slow burn.) Love this series so far the 2nd book Dance with the Fae Prince is my favorite.

I see the word "obsessed" so much! Trying to think of other words to use instead that gives the same punch. I'm interested in the Liz Tomforde books and the KA Tucker. I just finished Next of Kin and already took Next to You out on KU. Have not read any of these.
Decided to read Heartless on a whim and finished that and Powerless in one day. Gonna have to read more Elsie Silver now
Next To You is everythinggggg!!!! It’s the second book in a companion series though so I do recommend reading the first book, Next of Kin first. Just post posted a video all about the author and the 3 books she has published so far ❤

IMO Hawke is way more like Thoughtless then After. I didn't get After vibes at all. It's SO good.

I have already downloaded The Right Move because I loved Mile High so much! (thanks for the rec!). I'm starting Powerless today, I have read all of Elsie Silvers's Books in the last month and I love them all. I didn't want to read the Parallel sequels because they are about the mother and she (SPOILER!) dies in the first series and, IDK, it would make it all too sad for me. One book that really surprised me that I had downloaded ages ago is "River of Shadows" but the problem is that IDK when the rest of the books will come out and I don't have the patience to wait! But it was really very good

I enjoyed 'Before Us' and it's certainly a different type of story, with both sadness and angst. I did get frustrated near the end, as there was a lot of indecision, push/pull, yes/no and I ended up giving it 4 stars. It's well worth reading though.

I can’t be the only one who didn’t like hawke… it felt like a bad version of after. The ending bumped it up for me so I’m pleased I actually stuck with reading it, but it was so MEH

The Wrong Bride DESTROYED me. I felt physical, visceral pain reading this dang book lol! I wanted to throw my kindle across the room 😂 If you're not looking for extreme angst that does NOT let up even for a second, maybe read Forever After All instead it's angsty but won't make you need therapy 🤭

I read "Hold" and really, really liked it! What makes it sci-fi is that it's futuristic (far future), but it's angsty, dark, but the romance is also incredibly sweet
is the heroine in “final offer” rude like the one in “terms & conditions” ?? i dnf the latter because that one reason. i was annoyed with the heroine.

I just read Powerless I know I'm in the minority but while I thought it started off great, it ended up being a meh read. I didn't care for the second one either to be honest. I just don't think she is the author for me.
I don't really follow the crowd when it comes to really popular books. I tend to go off on my own.
Annie Grace has 2 four book series that I want more from each series.
The Four Winds by Kristen Hannah, obsessed. If you want something fun to read, Penny Marshall memoir. I did audible and she is the orator. Don't forget all the J. S. Scott million and billion guys, love,lovelove!

I feel like I’m the only one who didn’t like Hawke. I had to dnf it at 30% because it was bad. The mc was giving very much “not like other girls” and I felt like it was poorly written. Booktok recs are honestly super hit or miss with me because I’ve gotten some all time faves from there and some I’m like…why would you make me read this lol
