@@Sergote12 I’m not 100% sure he has been a choreographer/stage director for any full groups besides new jeans but I know he has worked with other artist like Key and Boa and like skeleton crew for other groups
One of the producers for super shy and new jeans is named erika de casier. All of her music has a y2k early 2000’s vibe and her singing style is soft and I think that’s why both songs are sung the way they are. If you have time listen to puppy love by her (on ur on time I mean lol) it has the same vibe

New jeans has been setting the standard this year in terms of overall quality. Of course their label has a lot to do with it, but we all know even big labels can drop the ball in a lot of ways. But these choreos are insane! It’s giving All Star Cheerleader routine with the overall formations and cleanliness, I AM IN LOVE! ❤❤

They actually filmed it in my city, Lisbon, Portugal. Those are really popular places to chill among the youth too, it was a big deal when they were filming but everyone thought it was a dance cover group bcs theres no way any kpop group would film here lol but turns out it was actually them and its pretty exciting since portugal is a small country and idols usually dont even perform or tour here

The name of the song kinda throws me off. I’m Spanish and a while ago there was a terrorist group called ETA over here and it’s just… weird.
@@sofiarolfranco3381 I did hear some backlash about that. I know for Americans ETA does mean estimated time of arrival however, the names that were included in the teaser seemed to match the incident as well but people say they are really common names in Spain. Honestly I have no clue why they included those names but in the lyrics ETA does match estimated time of arrival definition. It’s hard for me to assume there were bad intentions.
@@blankblank1510 ik that their intentions weren’t bad but it will always remind me of terrorists and it can’t be fixed. I don’t blame new jeans for this but their label. They could’ve done some research because acronyms could be anything. The same thing happened with cookie. It sounds dirty for native English speakers. They could have learned for their mistakes and made sure none of their tracks had a bad name. If it happens again I’ll start thinking they know but they ignore it to stir trouble. Things can go viral because they’re controversial but it can’t be good for new jeans and their image.
NewJeans are a force and their team is doing a good job of carving out a space for them. This makes me more excited for the rest of the title tracks.
Also, I'm so happy for Black.Q and the rest of EODDAE for finally getting the recognition they deserve over these last few years. They've BEEN having the K-pop girls serving.

They have been super busy the pass few months. Festivals, concerts,fashion shows +school and a lot of other things. Can't imagine how much work they had to put in this short amount of time.

I enjoy this very much. Some people irritated me when they are clearly out of their depth being too much and too long in kpop that’s full of cliches and unoriginality seeing something a little out of the box and they short circuited saying stage presence and vocal aren’t good enough when it is their narrow exposure of performance art and music that are the problem. The shortcomings are theirs, not the artists they are watching. Anyway! Very informative and entertaining reaction! Thank you!

i feel like newjeans' music is the straight opposite of groups like nct and straykids. Its super simple, clean and fresh; there's no over-complicated production, not a lot of big beat drops and changes in the sound etc
