The wires that you pass by the potentiometer are for the fuel temp sensor, it makes the ecu think the diesel is rly cold(more "jelly" like) so it demands the ip to compensate by forcing more fuel to the injectors
i see you have a flashing glowplug light in this video, i have a 2012 jetta and my glowplug light is flashing, is your tdi in limp mode? i thought that’s what was causing mine but i also have a mass airflow code. get back to me please i’m trying to diagnose this😂
@@carricer6843 yes i did scan it, it doesn’t read my glowplug light for some reason, i also have a dpf light on but i can’t enter regen mode because i’m in limp mode
@@ivantsenov863 chips in most cases don’t do shit other than holding your injector solenoid open for a thousand of a second longer, which on a VW TDI, which use the Pumpe-Düse-system and not common rails, brings at most like 0.5hp and some minor Newtonmeters more. So there will be no influence to your experiment.

It could be done, but I'd recommend getting rid of catalytic converter and dpf, because the fumes could blow back to the engine and cause damage.

It's straight piped with heavy glow plugs and I'm guessing it's the stock turbo 1.9l tdi
You must have tdi with VGT turbo (for example ALH engine code)...then straightpipe your exhaust and that's all.
