I think this is a beautiful area as well. These beaches are fantastic, especially out in the National Sea Shore area. I'm getting ready post a final ride through the area from Navarre to Fort Pickens. Its finally opened up and looks great. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching, glad you liked it. That was a fun ride. The weather around here has been so nasty lately I have not had the bike out for 2 months. I have a couple things planned when weather improves. One is to go back there one last time and ride the length of that Island and hopefully check out the fort at the end. Thanks again. Welcome aboard.
That was a great view and narration that u did. I use to hang at gulf breeze but I found Navarre last year and its the Best Secret now being Found . It holds an older age group for relaxation in the Beach Breeze. If u want to stay look up Beachview condominiums right on the Beach and not a highrise. Ssssh dont tell ;)
Hi...I just stumbled across your video. Navarre... actually sounds like nuh-vaar or like the word bizarre (if that helps). We have vacationed there for 3 years going on 4. It's a beautiful place. : )
Sure it helps... thanks. I still have one final video run down there to make. I have not been able to do the full length of Florida SR 399 because it's been closed due to Hurricane Sally. They opened it a while back so I'm heading out on Monday with all my gear. I want to go to Fort Pickens at the end of the Island. Should be fun. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thanks for your interest. I have been wanting to make a video for a while on how I put it together. I have not posted anything lately because we just moved into a new house and things are still quite messy... I just today put my computer system back together. This project will help me get things back up and running. But, just as a teaser... The metal part that's attached to the helmet is made of small gauge aluminium. There's a small 90 degree bracket attached to that and the camera is screwed to that bracket. Other than the camera being screwed onto that bracket everything is held in place with 3M Dual Lock. There is also a small mic in the cheek pad and an extended life battery attached to the opposite side of the helmet with that same 3M Dual Lock. It works well with the Sony camera I use. Thanks again for your interest and comments.
@@rideupsidevideoadventures3172 Yes, I have the same Sony camera. I noticed the 90 degree bracket that it was screwed into. I also noticed the battery pack and you mentioned the inside microphone. So this is all made by you? Also, "3M Dual Lock", is that a Glue or Tape of some kind? I've seen the many ways people "Stick" cameras to their helmets, but I wanted a more secure way of attaching it, like a clamp or screws. Thanks for the info...
@@ronniesuperx Dual Lock is a rather aggressive form of velcro. It does not have the hook and loop configuration regular velcro has. It`s more of a double ball configuration. Both of the mating surfaces are the same and they snap together very snuggly. It has 3M Sticky tape on the back. I honestly don't think I'll be able to get that tape off my helmet without it pulling the finish off. This dual lock stuff is fantastic. I've had this helmet setup over highway speeds and its never come loose at all. I've had this helmet put together since early 2018. I'm pretty impressed with it. Something I didn't mention yesterday... I got all the components to put this mount together at Lowe's. I'm sure Home Depot would have it all as well. There's a section in Lowes where you can buy threaded rod and different types of metal strips.(Hardware I believe) I got the aluminum there. Cut it with a hacksaw, cleaned up the edges with a belt sander, bent it to fit the helmet with a hammer and vice. I worked it so the aluminum first fit the contour of the helmet where I wanted to put it before I every applied the Dual Lock. Anyway, hope that covers it... I'll still do the video... it'll be fun. Thanks again for your interest.
Hey RG, that pier is part of a place call Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze. I didn't see if it had a name other than that. The park has two boat ramps as well. That whole area took a bit of damage from Sally. The bridge from Gulf Breeze to Pensacola is just now showing one lane open. It's been completely closed since that hurricane came through. I hope that answers you Q. Thanks for watching.
Just moved to gulf breeze from Nebraska, absolutely love it
I love this place ❤ I wish I can live here. I also have family Navarre and Gulf Breeze. Nothing but great times there.

Fabulous video. Thank you!💛

I do agree, that last ride I made through the National Seashore area was beautiful. White sandy beaches for miles, with nobody on them.
That powdery white sand at Navarre came streaming down there years ago from the Appalachian mountains

Didn't you have a little MG out in California at Edwards I think, that was you right?
Yes Dave, I did have a 72 MGB. But that was Eltoro.
