It's not that he's a more skilled QB than Dak, he's just an excellent game manager and won't make back-breaking mistakes Dak does and it causes the play-calling on offense (and defense) to just be simple ABC stuff. When the Cowboys try and be cute with the play calling is what gets them in trouble.

Early in the season Dak was playing with no run game and no starters. The starters have missed 43 games in total and that was majority when Dak played. We wouldn’t have had a better record if Cooper Rush started the season because we were getting absolutely gashed, The New Orleans Baltimore and Detroit games would have been no different, If we had Pat Mahomes we wouldn’t of won those games. I like Dak I think he’s a better QB overall but like the other commenter said Rush’s strength is not making the back breaking mistake (although he tried to go Dak mode and throw a pick after J Lew got his INT and Bucs linebacker just dropped it) and hes good in his role as back up, I don’t think Dak is as good as he was before all his leg injuries he was much more effective when he was mobile, He had good seasons, I don’t think Dak is as great as his big fans make him out to be and I don’t think he’s as awful as his haters make him out to be he’s mid to above average which isn’t a bad career for a 4th round pick people weren’t expecting much of. Dak in his prime was like top 12-15 now I’d say he’s like a top 20-25 qb because he has lost that mobility. With that being said there is NO FREAKING WAY he should be making 60 million he should be at like 25-30 million based on what he brings to the table. That puts him around Geno Smith or Baker Mayfield money which is where he belongs in my opinion. He’s an average qb nothing wrong with that my problem with Dak is he refused to take a team friendly deal and that his fanbase makes excuses up for him when he plays bad or lied about the facts. But you can’t say that his contract doesn’t hurt the team because it does.
