At least in 2024 Cooper Rush was better than Dak statistically. The fact that it’s even a topic of discussion pretty much proves Dak is way overpaid. He’s not as overpaid as Deshaun Watson or Trevor Lawrence but he is the 3rd most overpaid qb in my opinion.

He had more starters back than Dak did during that stretch against Pittsburgh Detroit San Fran and Atlanta. San Francisco at that point of the season had their whole team, you’re looking at rn when they lost all their starters like Bosa, etc. And rmbr dowdle was a healthy scratch that game. They used dowdle and gave him a bunch of Carries with Rush. Rush had a running game, Dak had Zeke. When Dak had dowdle get 20 Carries against Pittsburgh, they won that game And Dak owns Philly we saw what he did when Philly came to AT&T stadium the last two years. Dak takes that offense to another level, especially with Cee Dee. Look at the Bengals Joe burrow and them were struggling in the beginning of the season and then they picked it up after the bye week. Dak had a bad start last season and took off

@ so much help?? He literally showed last year he just needed a WR to have the NFLs best offense. His rookie year he took a team 13-3. The year before they were 3-13 and the only thing that changed was Dak and Zeke. If we had a competent defense they would’ve gone to the title game. -The Amari cooper season in the rams playofff game where they rushed for 400 yards against our defense. -San Fran 2021. Team tied a playoff record for most penalties with 14 -2022 Tampa and then San Fran game. Keep in mind when pollard was running the ball Dak was able to like the ball down the field and scored on both drives. 2023- Green Bay scored on every possession defense could not get one stop. Obviously Dak is way overpaid, but even if Dak was on a cheap contract, he is not good enough to get the job done. The monster money Dak makes just makes Dak's crappy play look even worse. If the Cowboys want to sign a bunch more great players for their team, Dak's monster contract will not prevent them from doing so. But obviously, the Cowboys don't want to have the highest payroll in the league. And believe it or not, the crappy Cleveland Browns have the highest payroll in the NFL in 2024. Cowboys are ranked #16 in payroll for the 2024 NFL season. The Cowboys are not the cheapest team in the NFL when it comes to payroll, they are right smack in the middle. The cheapest payroll team in 2024 is Tampa Bay, and they might make the playoffs in spite of it.

@@dylanjohn430 He was never a true route runner or major separation guy. It was his 50/50 ball that made him special. Neither Dak nor Lamarr can throw that 50/50 ball consistently so he never ended up producing.

Dez wasn’t young when Dak was drafted he got drafted in 09 and the lower leg injuries shortened his career
