A lot of times lost or undeliverable cargo packages cannot be returned to the sender for a variety of reasons. Often the cargo is too large or came from too far(China) to be returned. We plan on flipping these lost cargo packages for a profit. Sarah has been following the Facebook group of a pallet liquidator in our area who buys truckloads of Walmart, Target, and Amazon returns and then sells them by the pallet to resellers. Since we love flipping furniture we thought it would be a unique opportunity for us. Lost mail packages are a new product GRPLiquidations has been selling recently.
Flipping return pallets is a GREAT way to make extra cash and pay for luxuries or basic expenses if needed. Opening them is half the fun, which is why we make these unboxing videos! Reselling Amazon returns can be a great side hustle if you know how to list, sell, and ship items on eBay and Facebook. We have learned a lot through experience and hope you find these videos helpful and informative! Return pallet flipping is something we’ve done before, but we wanted to try again to give it a fair chance. Not only is the pallet unboxing fun, but there is a great potential to make a lot of extra money!

You may know this, but i was taught somewhere, sometime, when cutting open packages, cut the ends first, lift the top then cut the top tape. That way your raising the top away from the item inside, making less likely to accidentally cut the item.

Do you have to put those antennas in another box to ship or can you just slap a label on it? Meanwhile, I just learned how porch pickup works LOL. They leave money under your mat?? wow, that's trusting. I'm paranoid. I don't want people seeing where I live, being in a rural area, cuz they might be scoping it out to later burglarize. There was a supposed carpet cleaning company doing that recently. Actually I finally listed my first items on FBMP and what a pain in the ass. Lots of people asking if the item was still available, one even suggested meeting and of course never did. So inconvenient trying to meetup with folks, esp out here in the boonies. Bravo to all those that can deal with that headache!
I don't see the link for the little knives. I do have a question about them.... a regular box cutter will cut the side of a mattress, will these do the same do you think? That's what I need them for, to cut mattresses. Thanks

We live a couple hours from the pallet place you go to. We just bought our first pallet from there a few weeks ago so we might have a match to one of the boxes you have if one is outdoor patio furniture. We don't have Facebook but we will probably have to get one to start selling all the big stuff we got in our pallet.

Are you still getting pallets at GR liquidators? Im going to buy either a Amazon monster or a Best choice pallet from a liquidator in Freeland MI. Do you have any insight which type would be better (Amazon or BC)?
Do you do salvage when you get a lot of scrap? Or just trash it?
I do a lot of sublimation of items and the heatpress you have should be good to go. The only thing you do to check would be to turn it on and if it heats up good to go. Those sell well in the craft groups. I would not put it down as return as first time users have a little bit more to learn on the ink they need and icc profiles and such and putting that forward as a reason their mug did not press would just confuse them.
I’ve been trying my best to get a heat press. My parents and my only sibling passes last year and neither 3 had life insurance so it’s been hard on my husband and I. My health keeps me from working so I do all I can to help out.
Open house season is definitely a Michigan thing. 😄 I've never lived anywhere else that had such a season. 🙃

@@Alexandra-iz6tx High school graduation party, "open house" because it's drop in. In order for everyone to be able to go to all of the open houses, the parents will spread them throughout the summer.
Indiana does too but we are right up against MI. Funny thing though, my cousins live in AZ and they do not do the graduation open house thing at all in their area.

If they have a security camera or ring doorbell then the person would be caught on camera stealing...Doorbell cameras are pretty widespread now, and I think most people know that, so it'd be pretty foolish to steal like that

Hello Grand Rapids area neighbors! I would keep the heat press. Aside from making "Jamie and Sarah" swag, you can do other decorated apparel and sell that on demand. You can create AI artwork and have it printed on heat transfer film, there are companies that do nothing but that. Just an idea for an addtional revenue source. Cheers!

Does anyone know how do you do porch pickup and not worry about people not leaving the money or correct amount under the mat? I have not used FB marketplace yet but would like to try.
The best part about FB marketplace is that it's tied to people's personal profiles. There's a much lower chance of someone scamming you when you their account is tied to their name, location and even often mutual friends. I mean, any seller should be looking at the person's profile to see if they're a real person and not a weirdo of course. I've never had an issue with someone not leaving the money under the mat but I also do a pretty thorough sweep of the person's profile ahead of time haha.

So i have been doing this same thing for over 3 yrs before it began to gain popularity. What i want to know from you guys what is the oddest thing you guys have found? i have gotten some pretty odd things before too that you think wouldn't sell.
I saw someone else on youTube that got one of those big fan things. I don't recall if he got it all or just the inside part--pretty sure he only got the inside unit. It was 2nd cents maybe you can ask him. Not sure if you are in the same area or not.

I too love selling on Facebook marketplace but I’m nervous to have people come to my house for pick ups. Instead I meet at a local grocery store. Any tips for feeling safe having people do porch pick up instead?

I’m not sure if it would make you feel safer but for 20 years I’ve been doing porch pick up first with Craigslist and Freecycle, to now Facebook Marketplace. Never had a problem. Houston and now OKC.
I wouldn't do it if you live alone, but if you have a security camera like someone mentioned above, it's probably pretty safe.
Central Ohioer here, I've done a couple porch pick ups. I vet then on FB first before I agree to it. If they haven't had a profile for long or aren't active on their profile then I agree to meet at the local police station or fire house. If they are active and my intuition tells me they are ok I will do ppu. I also have a Ring doorbell and a lot of neighbors that are home and outside often so that helps. Plus you have their social media information if something does happen.
Quick solution, get a rifle. Plenty of relatively cheap but reliable rifles out there. I personally think shotguns are better for home defense but the kick can be brutal if you’re older or have bad form/posture. We also have the benefit of being a Castle Doctrine state so, in an absolute worse case scenario which is pretty unlikely to happen anyway honestly, you don’t have to worry about being charged with anything if someone were to break in and you did end up shooting at them.
I refuse to do any type of porch pickup simply because I do not trust people enough to leave the money they agreed to pay me for whatever I’m selling. I don’t even like it when UPS or amazon leaves something on my porch because of how easy it would be to just run up to my house and take whatever is sitting there.
I think you would be shocked at the number of people who would buy your swag!!

I wonder if it's a Michigan thing where you can trust people to put the cash under your mat. Definitely down where I live people would be scamming. Probably put monopoly money in the envelope lol. It's great that it works for you both though! I enjoy your videos!
I’m in OKC and never had a problem doing that, which is kinda odd considering the huge number of porch pirates in my area. I guess they usually follow the UPS or FedEx delivery trucks.
right? why not just zelle or cash app before they pick up. or take cash in person
@@citygurrrl6387 I would definitely want to take cash in person. I understand not using apps as people can lie and tell their bank to do a charge back, but leaving stuff out for people to put cash under a doormat would definitely not work where I live. I had three packages of books misdelivered to another apartment in my complex and they didn't even try to bring it to the front office :/ they weren't even expensive books.

This was on the bunk beds. even with those 3 items missing the other boxes that was a worthwhile pallet to get. I would be happy. Hopefully our closest place lowers their prices back down by spring otherwise I might not buy any this season when it starts back up for me. GRP sure have decent pallet prices where the buyers can make out too.
