Penn State is on of the best rushing defenses in the country, so far they only allowed 2 running backs to rush for over 100 yards, Woody Marks of USC and Ashton Jeanty. Ohio States' Judkins only got 95 yds
Jeanty is elite.. in the mountain west. He wouldn't get anywhere near the same production in the big ten. The big ten is known for having incredible run defenses. And while psu is definitely one of if not the best in the b10, there are still 9 10 other teams with great to elite run defenses. He's running for 1200 yards maybe in the b10. Oh and madsen is throwing 10 plus interceptions in the big ten instead of the 3 he threw in the mountain west. If boise had a big ten schedule the likes of ohio state, oregon, or penn state, their ceiling is 9 wins. And they aren't even sniffing the cfp
@@samknabel849 my brother he was 28 yards close to breaking it u act like it wasn't great rbs in the big 10 that was close to breaking it like Melvin Gordon
@gman474 yes, and it was very impressive. But my brother he played in the mountain west. I know and love the mountain west. But there is not a single run defense in that conference that I would consider elite. Jeanty is a great back. But he is not running for 2000 plus yards in the big ten, the conference that is known for its hard nose run game on both offense and defense. I'd even argue he doesn't come close to that in the sec.
Jeanty played 6 games against teams that were either from Power 5, or that finished the year ranked (Penn State, Oregon, Washington State, Oregon, UNLV x 2). These games alone would be a tougher SOS than Georgia's, who had the toughest schedule all year, and far tougher than the average B1G schedule (Particularly teams from the B1G like Indiana, who didn't have to play 2 of the 3 powerhouse B1G teams). These 6 games include 2 of the 3 best teams in the B1G, 4 of 6 games versus teams that finished the year ranked teams, 5 of 6 against teams that had at least 8 wins, and were ranked for at least 3 games during the course of the the season. In those 6 games alone, he totaled 186 carries, 1118 rushing yards, 10TDs, over 6 YPC. So my question is, when you say he would only run for 1200 yards in the B1G, are you only accounting for him playing 6 games? Additionally, all these stats he accumulated running behind an injury-riddled MWC offensive line (They were missing 2 starters vs Oregon). What do you think he would do with a B1G line going up against the likes of Rugters, or Minnesota, or Purdue, or Northwestern, or UCLA, all B1G teams? We will agree on Madsen. He should have thrown like more picks this year but he had a ton of dropped picks. Though to be fair versus Penn State, his first pick was a downfield shot on 3rd and 24 from out of FG range, another was on 4th and 13, and the last with like 30 seconds left in the game. So 2 where he was forced to make a risk throw and one when the game was already over anyway.
I made a comment on here about you saying jeanty got off and I said he didn’t get off he had 30 carries for 100 yards. In which you replied Penn state stacked the line of scrimmage and blitzed him all night. Well I can tell you we don’t blitz much because our down 4 gets a lot of pressure own their own. So your reply doesn’t make any sense. I’m not saying jeanty is a bad back. He just didn’t face a defense like Penn states defense all year. Once he gets his feet wet in the NFL I think he will be a great back. Had he faced tougher defenses throughout the year he might of destroyed our D. But I will also say Boise’s defense opened up another whole in our offense which couldn’t have come at a worse time for us especially going into this Notre Dame game and that is the damn blitz right up the middle. We couldn’t stop it and we didn’t have an answer for it all night. I think once we get a lead on someone we need to just pound the rock until the other team just quits like Michigan did all last season
Jeanty still a great back. But Penn State's defense was just on another level, they made him earn every yard.
Dani Dennis-Sutton was criticized heavily by the Penn State fans for that cheap hit.

These highlights don’t show just how much Jeanty was getting shutout this game, it has nothing to do with bad performance on his part
This might not be up for long so many of these college games getting copyright claimed
You made PSU s point. Defense. Of course they were keyed on Jeanty. Thats how defense wins games

He would go crazy in that conference
@gman474 go crazy as in it will drive him crazy that he's not going to get even close to Barry sanders record

Jeanty got lined up - just like their OLine, just mashed on
6:54 Who else is getting that much attention in a defensive scheme? Too bad BSU doesn't have a Shakir like player at WR this year..
Half of Jeanty's runs were TFL's.

Can we get that ND \ Georgia reaction
Yo , you sound far away in this stream. It’s like you mic is not on .
ashton ...not alshon
Bossman wann is a Pa hater 😂😂😂😂
The moment was to big for Boise and jeanty...probably will cause him to drop in the draft
He's not dropping he's still a top 10 talent forsure
Only reason he’s dropping in draft is because cowboys have lower pick
@@KilluaZoldyck-mk7gyI feel like Cleveland or San Francisco or new Orleans gets him
