- Last summer we decided to take a road trip to visit the most beautiful villages and towns in Kent in a single day. We visited and explored Canterbury, Fordwich, Chilham, Godmersham, Biddenden, Aylesford and Ightham.

I was born in Kent near Dover Castle and lived in St Margaret's Bay. As well as Deal Kent. It was and still is my happy place.
My father grew up in St Margaret’s Bay. Beautiful location. Kent has so much to offer. My wife and I love it.
Her strong Persian accent actually adds to the cuteness of the videos. Nice videos well done .

I'm glad you enjoyed my home county, however it isn't possible to visit 'the most beautiful...' in one day although I know it makes a great clickbait title. Kent is a large county jam-packed with gorgeous villages and towns, you could spend a two-week holiday exploring them and you still wouldn't be done. I've lived here for all 56 years of my life and I still count my blessings to be living in such a wonderful place, where I can get in the car and go to so many lovely places within easy reach.

I live in Kent and there are so many picturesque towns/villages and cities. Although. Canterbury is my favourite, I just love the character and atmosphere of the city. I visit there quite often. Which place was your favourite to visit in Kent?

Thank you for a lovely video - many parts of Kent are indeed beautiful as is Sussex where I live. Unfortunately though I had to turn the sound off regularly as I found the music really off-putting (as is the case with quite a few youtube videos) . Perhaps some other music - classical for example (if allowed and in the public domain) or even no music at all would have been better? Apart from that a great video.

As a local (I live j10 miles from Canterbury), I must say you did very well to fit all those places in during one day, albeit you had long daylight hours.

Aylesford is famous for the view from the road bridge, it is a bit over-rated. If I was recommending someone a handful of places to visit in a day, it certainly would not be on the list. In the Maidstone area, Loose would probably be the pick of the bunch.

This is similar to the place called the nilgiris , which is at south india , specifically nilgiris infrastructures was constructed by British people before 1947 ... I guess you have to visit once .

Kent doesn't get as busy as the Cotswolds, both are great and it depends what you want to do and see. I also have a separate video about the Cotswolds

I have mycophobia (fear of Mushrooms and Mold) So I start to scream and cry when I look at mushrooms...
what would you say was the most beautiful and your favorite place in this area of Kent?
I like all the places I mentioned, but if I have to choose only one place, I would go to Canterbury
@@mansoureh thank you! I only have 1 day there in Sept and we dock in Dover so plan to catch a train to Canterbury. I can't wait!
Next time try Tunbridge Wells, Whitstable, Broadstairs, Tenterden, Cranbrook and for small villages, Loose, Brenchley / Matfield... to be honest, there are loads worth visiting!
