Brain Tumour Survivor And Pride Of Britain Award Winner Ravi Adelekan | Good Morning Britain

We are joined by one of the two winners of Pride of Britain’s ‘Child of Courage’ award, Ravi Adelekan, who’s here with his dad Olugbenga. This award is for someone battling against the odds to help others, or putting themselves at risk to save someone in danger.
Despite his own ongoing difficulties, Ravi, along with his family, is striving to raise £250,000 through 'Ravi's Dream' to support The Brain Tumour Charity and Brainstrust. Ravi made a charity music video of the song ‘A Million Dreams’ from The Greatest Showman. Featuring an amazing array of internationally acclaimed musicians including Bastille, Damon Albarn, Paloma Faith. All funds go to two essential brain tumour charities, The Brain Tumour Charity and Brainstrust. In April this year, Ravi put on a charity football match to raise money.
The Pride of Britain team arranged for Ravi, his Mum and younger sister to attend a Newcastle football match in Brighton. Ravi is a huge Newcastle fan. Members of the team, Kieran Trippier and Bruno Guimaraes, surprised Ravi by calling him down to the side of the pitch and giving him an envelope saying he had won the award.

I watched the clip of you & your sister, parents, doctors, nurses, teachers, other children going through what you are or similar and you are mature beyond your years. Such confidence both you & your sister carry too. I instantly fell for you & your family. I could feel the love you all have for each other! I just know you'll go far in life. I don't care about the song choir does not sound well as other's comments on BGT. These kinds of kids who have brain issues needs world support and BGT is one of the shows that will show them out to the world. Ravi, my little hero and the team you did wonderful job. God will bless you, your family and the team as a whole. I am from PNG a pacific country but seeing you in BGT show and coming to semifinal and getting knocked out and the sister react from the result crying when daddy carried up, I was very sad and crying and saying that this little girl will be the warrior for her brother tomorrow. Love you and your little sister so much. Thank you Alesha for the heart love you physically made on your golden buzzer. You are so kind and wonderful person you are. You put something special to those children. You also vote for them to go to the final but the result turned negative. God will bless you for the kind person.
