Do you have any advice about entering into corporate law from government? I was a prosecutor, but I’m thinking about transitioning to corporate. I feel like I’m a more transactional person.
If you're asking if that's the kind of flexibility you are afforded and must utilize, yes. You do not get "off work" in the way the bulk of other careers (e.g. medicine) traditionally allow and must find ways to fit things into your schedule where you have down time. If the question is about presentation, that's still an important part of the career.
Currently a 1L and this is both inspiring and terrifying 😅

So the life of a corporate lawyer is to get off the plane and immediately head to the salon to get your hair done???? 🧐
