This guide is a offers a few examples of ways that you can use BTCRecover to recover a BIP39 passphrase if you have lost it, forgotten it or have mistyped it. (Ledger wallets call this a hidden wallet, 25th word, etc) This will work with a Trezor, Ledger Nano or Keepkey. It can be an easy mistake to make. (Ledger Live will give the error message "wrong device or passphrase")
This can be helpful if you know your 24 word recovery seed is right, but you can't seem to find your crypto, or all the addresses you see are incorrect.

My Suggested Workflow...
Create a secure environment to run the tool... Be prepared that it could take many hours (or days) to run, even in a "normal" situation...
Get the tool working and test it with one of my scenarios above... (Irrespective of whether you use a token list or password list) Just to make sure you are getting the syntax right and can be confident to try it with your own real info...
Start with password list...
Move on to a token list if required...
Example 1: 1st Address, Short Password, Password List with one entry
Passphrase (we think): TH-cam
Passphrase (with typo): youtub
Address we are looking for: 0x200440538F25D3d96D68e9abd3177EedC5b418B0

Note: I have basically enabled ALL of the typo types, because it gives it the greatest chance of working... Disabling some can speed things up significantly...
Note: But this also won't add letters, or try common mispellings...

Note: Increasing --addr-limit to 20 doesn't make it take 20 times longer... Doubling this from 10, to 20, only increases processing time by about 20%... (So if in doubt, make this number large)
