You can try doing the first nude layer as thin as possible, and the use a milky white base for the tips, and after that top it with a sheer rubber base to create the structure on top instead of at the start
I’d do anything to have nails like yours 😭💕 mine grow bent, don’t even know how that’s possible but they do 😫
here are some things that have really helped me 🥹 I used to have nail nubs but doing these things constantly have changed my life:)
- Use a gentle file, 180 grit or higher or a glass file, don’t clip or use a cheap abrasive file that shreds your nails
- Gloves every single time you’re doing dishes or cleaning, water is so so bad for your nails
- Don’t use your nails as tools! Use a spoon to open cans, don’t rip open packages with your nails, etc etc.
- Always wear polish or gel, bc it’s like armor for your nails
- Round nail shape, square shape tends to break on corners because it’s a stress point (especially with bare nails)
- Put on cuticle oil + lotion at night before bed, more cuticle oil during the day if you can

Might be nutritional, try some vitamins/supplements for hair, skin and nails🖤🖤🖤 mine use, to bend in on the sides perpetually but they're pretty strong and uniform, now

I’ve been taking biotin for years and a couple years ago started taking biotin + keratin (which I hated to bc of where keratin comes from 😫) and there wasn’t really a difference in my nails. 💔 thought I had more baby hairs for a while with the keratin, but that either leveled off or wasn’t actually happening 😥

I would suggest doing this technique similar to how you would do a basic French with acrylics. On your natural nail build a “U” shape with the pink (leaving space for the white) cure, shape, and then add the natural colored white

Have you tried mail stamping? They have French plates so you can stamp a perfect smile line. Stamping has its own learning curve but once you get it down it’s fun :)
This is what most of my nail sessions look like. 😂 I know some, but I'm not really up to skill level it takes to make me satisfied with my work. But the only way to get there is to keep on!

I too have been trying for that perfect gradient soft white French manicure. I finally got it down but it took me sooo many tries with different products. About a $100 worth of nothing but see through soft pinks and milky white polishes. I was about to give up though. You just have to find what works for yourself. I'm glad I stuck with it. I love the look! Mine are more of a blended gradient look.

I prefer French tips, so I buy those stickers that are guides for them. They're cheap and easy to use - but MAKE SURE you have washed and removed all sticky from the stickers before adding a coat

it's still cute. I actually dont do a direct sectioned line for my natural French I just do a ombre sheer pink to milky white and it's my favorite. they look super natural and so cute. it's my go to.
I also do it with poly gel. or dip/gel for my natural nails

I’ve also seen this done by putting the white on first and then using a sheer pink/nude over everything. Makes the white less intense and hides any ridge better
