Looking at the general condition of the car, I am struck by how well the dashboard and plastics are preserved. 👏👏👏
Toyota quality
These didn’t have hard plastic dashboards. It’s a vinyl covering with a thin foam backing. They aren’t prone to cracking
Imagine beginning your life as a USDM car, bought by an elderly woman who took care of you like her grandson.
Several years later, you were sold to a hard working salesman who travels across the states hundred times a year.
Then the salesman gave the keys to a mother of three children. She drove you to take her kids to school, and to go shopping for household goods.
And after many hundred thousand miles later, you were bought for dirt cheap by a teenager who often went to parties with friends using you as transport.
Finally, after decades of torture, you were no longer road worthy. You knew you'd end up in a crusher, but a group of businessmen stopped the forklift just in time.
They said that you still had one last task left: go to Africa.
I'm so glad to see this car being still on the road and hope it will remain forever, if we all had one of those we would pollute way less by using old cars than manufacturing millions of eco friendly ones each year to replace last year's ones.
I had one in white 1999 V6 not too long ago. The suspension is really bad. Even after replacing the shocks/struts. The power steering lines, and pump leaked. And the radiator fans/Fusebox was unreliable, so the fans worked sometimes after percussive maintenance to the Fusebox. But it's a very reliable car and the V6 engine has more than enough power to haul a lot of stuff/people.
Judging by the speedometer being in Mph. This Toyota, like many others, was probably shipped from the United States.
I have this car but 2000 model year. I love it !
I knew I parked my Camry somewhere!

I love your videos, PASSY.👍👍
This Camry is lifted high, that's how you know the muddy roads in Africa is rough. A lowered car would be totaled. The fact the engine was replaced twice, means it's not a true million kilometers car. But it's a million kilometers on the chassis itself.
best car ever
My 1999 Toyota Camry has 400K miles on it - Arizona car - same engine - 6cyl - 5 speed manual - runs perfect - no rust - no lights on - no dents -
the 4 cyl or 6 cyl when built can make monster power
A real luxury sedan 😉
Really luxury car)))
It's truly a luxury when your car is reliable and usually never breaks as long as maintenance is kept up with! No matter no fancy or bear bones the car is.
I love Toyota and I hope they reverse course in the cost cutting measures in their manufacturing processes ( e.g. the Tundra engine problem). The cost to reputation way outweighs any process savings.
Nice video
Le secret de longévité des moteurs c'est un bon mécanicien
Motorisation essence
Not too bad for a car with like 700k miles on it i wouldn't be surprised if that car is still running 99 camry the best......
Had a Camry like this in the states and she ran forever. All the little stupid stuff eg door handle breaking just like this car happened. The interior on this one looks pretty good
Toyota Camry машина топ
Rear has FRONT strut assemblies😂
factory rear suspension uses a strut and coil like that.
@@prius.killer yeah, but they must be using front springs in the assembly, because that thing is a monster truck😂
@@bobsmithinson2050 oh for sure its lifted. Probably spacers.
why did he remove all the seats?

Every car over there looks like hammered shit. Hows that no running water or power going? Double digit thinking in action again 💥
2:30 the wheels are straight but the steering wheel is upside down
Esque c'est une essence
Mint Condition slightly used
Oh yes...
...basically the Hilux gasoline sedan. 👌🏻🗿
すごい。日本だっと廃車だろうて感じます。日本車強いですね。すごいしかいいよない
You Africans are ninjas to make cars running. Here in Brazil I've never saw a gas car with 1 million kilometers.
He said it had TWO engine replacements
wtf happen to the rear axle
It's sitting way too high and the wheel is not centered lmao
I scrapped my 1999 camry yesterday. Fully working with about 250.000kms on it. It was good, but old.
Why didn't you sell it?
@tn18977 in Norway people buy only newer cars.
@@callename4169in many parts of europe you can find those african guys who buy good cars that are meant to be scrapped and ship them to africa, they pay you more than you will ever get for your car as scrap and keep it on the road. Much better than scraping older cars to get the newest eco friendly one every few years disregarding manufacturing pollution like most people in Europe do.
