Awesome and thanks. My machine is too old for Windows 11 but this works on windows 10 too. I don't have 4k setup either but I got the process working with 3 accounts and 2 monitors. I have 2 accounts side by side on secondary screen and main account on main screen. I'm considering rotating secondary screen and have it mounted vertically. Thank you for sharing and its great to hear the process has been approved and allowed.

Hey man.... this is great. I was a 5 multi-boxer in wow for years and 6 in EQ2 with isboxer (I actually had 24 accounts and raided by myself heh) ... but since that is essentially bannable now I haven't played in a long time. You just can't go back to single player humping after you have 6 boxed. Do you need to get a windows organizer like wineq2 or anything so I can setup my windows how i want them? Or even just using the windows organizer for isboxer might work? That way I can have my main take up like 75% of the screen and the other 2 fill the rest. Thoughts?
Hey Bevo, Windows 11 has the organizer built in, should be on by default. Otherwise, I believe Microsoft's Powertools for windows is an OS addon that may have additional uses you're looking for. Should support windows 10 as well.
@nightmareTerror you have to hover your mouse over the other windows, you need to turn on active window tracker and adjust the delay as shown in the tutorial. After you do this restart your computer.
How do you have the clients setup? Like are you running 4 instances of one installation, or do you have separate installs or what. I play through Steam so I imagine I'd have to stop using steam to box?
Im using the same client to log into multiple accounts that I pay for. I’m not sure how steam handles launching, but I wonder if you can go into the file directory of the install and try launching it from there. But you must have multiple subs to do this.
What screen resolution are you using? On my 1920x1080, I can't get the windows to tile properly without overlapping. It's like EQ2 has a minimum window size that you can't go below?
Hey Krayus im having a problem to where i cant have my res all in 1 window like yours.. My res is really big and my windows dont fit. They are over lapping. I have a 31 inch monitor
Due to spell queues. If there's a spell Qd up while the tank is targeted, and then you target anything with your tank, that queued spell caster is pew pewing your target before you. Accidental pulls, auto attack staying on and your follow slowing down. Assist also allows your guys to stay on a target and finish it off, while you swap to others. It also ensures /autoattack 1 shuts down and you're not accidentally attacking anything else.
@nickzgolf 4K monitors/windows 11. You may also need to adjust your executable properties and adjust the DPI scaling feature by changing it to system enhanced.
I can't believe these cheaters continue to come up with ways to bypass the rules, I sure hope we can get a clean server without these degenerates ruining the game for actual legit players who don't cheat
I’m sorry, how is this considered cheating? Every character is manually played. Zero automation. This tutorial lives on the official forums, and is in now way considered cheating. Petition to have Daybreak remove the auto follow and auto face features if you want multi boxing to go away.
@@_Krayus Yeah the devs had in mind people going into the registry and editing files to run their own full groups in an MMO and skirt around the rules. Where do we draw the line? This is ridiculous, and it ruins the spirit of the game no matter which way you look at it. Remove follow? how about just, don't cheat? lol, what a concept
I mean… you don’t have to edit the registry, the half a second delay as the windows default achieves the same thing. Considering spell queues and macros that the game has by default, you can move around much slower without issue. Personal preference, but it’s still not cheating. Also, how I play the game and enjoy my hobby has zero effect on you as a player. Heck, it could even help you down the road when you’re looking for help to finish up some heritage quests. I’m getting older and have two young kids. I don’t have time to sit around looking for a group all day. I want to log in and achieve things within the limited time I do have. I’m not some sweaty krono lord either. I’m here to help the community. Don’t think I won’t be breaking off from boxing to play a single toon either. Especially for raids. I’ve got multiple options and flexibility for grouping, raiding, and self play.

This is correct! You can use this in EQ 1, especially the TLPs with a lot less spamming.

I don't understand, how do I make the other characters attack? Only the main character attacks.

Is that a 4k monitor? My 1440p makes me overlap windows as the windowed eq2 screens are larger then half the screen.

You’re playing at 3840x2160? Drag your window up to the top of your screen, windows 11 organizer should pop up to place your windows.

Why bother with /assist? Why not just target through the tank?
