In this video I make an abstract painting on a 80x80cm canvas.
A lot of different techniques and layers to get the final result which allows to have a lot of new ideas. I also used a lot of masking tape.

I get so happy and excited when you splashed the white paint across the canvas 😊.
Love to watch your videos. There’s so many layers on the canvas to peel them back in your mind and put them back down to interpret how the painting makes you feel. I know as I watched I was feeling lots of different emotions like love from the pink, sunshine from the yellow etc. they just make you feel good all over. Hey John, I stumbled across your videos about 3 months ago and your videos inspired me to finally try something I have been scared off for many years; put the digital pen down and try actual physical paint on canvas. Obviously I am not creating amazing works of art like you but for me that's not the point. The headspace I get into when creating is something so special and I am so thankful to now have this in my life. Thank you so much , you are such a creative inspiration!
How many days did it take for you to decide it was enough. I'm wondering how long did you wait between the different designs and layers?
I wish I knew the answer to this as well. I'm so curious.

I've been watching your videos for a while, and I like everything I've seen. They're all good, but if I had to pick a favorite piece, I absolutely love "inula". I think I like it so much because the splash of color in the middle of that particular background color just seems perfect to me. Thanks for the inspiration..
