This was a nice piece John.....congrats.
I always love your masked off edge pieces, like a windows into the canvas...especially the thick lines laid across with the 3 drip, Beckley canvas tap to settle the paint. Just recently used your sliding the stencil for a layered look with different spray paints. 💯💯
This reminds me of a pair of happy pants I wore as a kid in the 80’s in summer!!!
I don't like it when people say that abstract art isn't art. Just because it doesn't look like a realistic portrait doesn't mean it's not beautiful. There is beauty in randomness. Look at the night sky, mountains, forest...
And most importantly, it takes effort and talent to merge all the colours and shapes together, as random as they seem, they work well together

There are times that I watch the colors you put together and I think, "where in the world is he going with this, what is he doing? Those colors are horrible together!" And then I watch you build a fantastic painting! Now I trust you and the process, after watching lots of your videos. It's great fun watching the final reveal when you take all the final tape off! That's my favorite part.
