No. 10 A Woman Giving Dawah to Women
Fatwa Shaykh Muhammad bin Nasiruddeen Al-Albaani
Rahimahullaah (d. 1420 A.H.)
Shaykh Al-Albaani was asked:
‘Can a woman, go out for Dawah to women in their homes, where they gather together so she can give Dawah to them, and these women may have a background of knowledge?
Shaykh Muhammad bin Nasiruddeen Al-Albaani Rahimahullaah (d. 1420 A.H.) answered:
‘Women are like men, and if she goes out veiled and wearing a Jilbaab (Hijaab) and speaks with knowledge, then there is no problem for her to go to houses where her fellow genders are and call them to Allaah Tabarak wa Ta’ala without there being any conditions like the conditions of the Jamaah Tabligh.’
