I try to make a point of looking out the side window of the aircraft while it's on the ground. How high above the tarmac you sit in the cockpit varies widely in different aircraft, and remembering this sight picture helps in knowing how close to the runway you really are as you settle in ground effect after the round out.
I think one of the key landing issues when I was learning to fly was the "direction of the wind" - crosswind correction, the use of the rudder and yoke!
Thanks for the tips, it’s valuable information. I am having a hard time with my round out sometimes I balloon up and have to release some pressure to land.
Most would be in a straight jacket after flying with me :-y I try to fly straight lines but I'm all over the map usually (/-_•)\ I think when I fail to impress it's best to think of it as the thought that counts basically 🤔😏
Check out my new channel, coming in 10 days! (brodie.bz/Aviation)

I have tried this on my paramotor. Not the same as an airplane, but but the same principals apply. Thanks! Go Simek!
Very good explanation
Thank you
getting flight trained by brodie!
Great tips and explained well. Conventional gear is a taildragger not a tricycle.
Excellent video on landing …wish Brodie would do more flight training videos.
