- Nothing like having to get over a huge beaver dam to find some big bass. Plus there were snakes everywhere which made it even tougher.

Used to jump beaver dams in Canada to access a lake. Nothing like a good adventure.
I'm was thinking about the equipment, loved the insight but can never treat my boats that way.

They literally have every modern amenity on that boat. Including the nicest tackle, rods and reels, and motors. The only thing that’s not decked out on this boat is the fishfinder. Kind of silly

I thought you were crazier than me when we went out on Lake Martin Christmas Eve 2007 when it was 20 degrees. Watching this and comparing it to my own adventures inshore and offshore I am certain nobody else has this unique fire within your soul. It pisses people off because they can't understand it. Good for you having fun. I've been dragging boats into "Unfishable" water since the late 70s. Well before "go pro". I still have my axel and wheels i used to roll into remote oxbows. That's why i kayak only fish now. I can get into anywhere!
That is hard core bass fishing! This is so much more entertaining than watching most of the benign, boring fishing videos out there.

Sometimes you got to go deep in the woods to get them and do some work to get there all good. You the man that one big one was nice get some . If you ever come to Virginia we have alot of spots like that large mouth and smallmouth all in the same hole. We just hike in but would love to take a ride in . This proves hard work leads to good fishing. I grew up fly fishing in MT, and the lengths I would go to, to get to a little hole were more than most of my friends. Sometimes, figurung out how to make a cast was the hardest part. Can I cast like Lefty Kreh? Oh hell no, but I certainly am creatvie, and lots of times, that's all that's needed.

There was a couple of Pro anglers in a FLW National Guard tournament on the California Delta that did the something similar to reach a lake behind a Beaver Dam by going over it years ago . They had cables and pulley blocks in there boats they rigged up during the tournament they worked together as a team to get other over the dam . The first boat would drive his boat on top of the dam shut down and trim is motor out of the water , then hook up rigging anchoring a pulley block to a tree or log between to the first boat and the second boat would connect the cable to is boat fire up his motor , then back up pulling the first boat over the dam with the cable rigging . Once over the beaver dam the rigging was changed and first boat over would pull the second boat over the dam using his outboard .
There was an investigation after the tournament after both placed first and second place and FLW deemed it was OK due to there being no rule against it at the time however they did change the rules the following year prohibiting the practice . Both anglers admitting to getting in the water and digging the channel deeper below the beaver dam with shovels before the tournament . They broke a California Law by modifying a stream bed without a EIR or permit and tearing up smaller beaver dams as such should have been disqualified from the tournament but got away with it .

man fishing in a pond made by a beaver dam is just like, a dream to me. I dunno, can't explain it. just taking advantage of nature and not some manmade dam on a river. I know they can be a nuisance sometimes but beavers are a keystone species. they're incredibly important to their surrounding ecosystems.

First let me say I'm such a huge fan of Keith. Even all three of my kids below the age of 10 know who he is and always ask how did Keith do when watching MLF.
SEO is Search Engine Optimization.
Think about it this way TH-cam is the Second largest search engine in the world. It's different than Facebook or Instagram or any of those platforms. With that in mind you have to make your videos searchable. You do that by trying to get your SEO score high as possible.
SEO score is based on the following: Tags in title & description, Tags in title, Tags in description, total tag characters, and title words in descriptions. You have to be careful not to use tags that are so common that your video will get lost among all of the other videos and not get promoted. You have to do all of this prior to posting video. TH-cam will promote your video for only a few days unless it's among the top searchable content for what it's posted for. That why you see some videos that are over a few years old and still getting hits each day.
One suggestion would be for this video is to make the title more searchable as Off The Grid as it self scores low on searchable keywords.
How about - Keith Poche MLF Bass Pro and Berkley Fishing Pro Presents Off The Grid Fishing. Now there are at least six searchable things in the title. Add those to the description along with in the tags. Also In the tags add as many things related to the title and description as possible.
There is a lot more to it but I hope this starts to explain SEO scores for TH-cam videos.
