This is a repost of a race from luy90's channel. He deleted all of the races off of his channel about a week or so ago, so he gave me permission to post this and the 2002 Kentucky race. These two races is all I have......for now. If that changes, I'll let you guys know. For now, enjoy!

Yep
I was there.
It was awesome.
2:04:00 is the start of the static. Randall did us the courtesy of cutting out most of the pure static part. It was completely static for somewhere around 10 or 15 minutes iirc.
Great race by IRL standards. Normally I'm very critical of open wheelers running that close to each other, especially on those 1,5 mile ovals. But it really shows that the drivers at that race knew what they were doing.
"opposed to open wheel cars running close to each other" So you're opposed to Indycar itself? Get the fuck out of here.
12:52 Start
why couldn't they race at Night? I'm Guessing still rainning or something
Best racing in Indycar ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This crap of Las Vegas 2011, and the chicken-sh-t road racing drivers there with their tails between their legs is ridiculous! If every midget, sprint and silver crown driver took the same attitude their sport would have been dead decades ago....
Both Sharp and McGehee were road racing drivers.
OK boomer from six years ago
Amen. 2011 was the last season I've watched. After that, it wasn't american series anymore.
@@adri9428 by your definition every NASCAR driver are road racers too as road races have been on a long time schedule. so your point is mute, and Not true, McGehee got started in racing in 1994 when he went to Skip Barber Racing School with his mother and went on to finished second in the Formula 2000 series Road to Indy Oval Crown series, a oval racing series BEFORE he got to IRL. As for Scott Sharp, yes he raced IMSA and SCCA in the 1980's but moved to CART in early 1990s and in 1996 moved to IRL and had race strictly ovals from 1996 until this race.
@@Noonecanknow879 LMAO i was born in july 1970 makes me a Gen X, not a boomer... sorry to bust your egg shell.
