A few miles north on hwy 285 watch for a sign on the west side for "Mt Princeton hot springs". Natural pools, or a large manmade pool with steaming hot water. Cabins, restaurant, and horse rental down the road. Very relaxing.

Just noted that a “Fourteener” in Colorado is a peak which exceeds 14,000 feet (not 4,000 feet, as described in the video). Nice video though,…Salida is one of my favorite Towns in Colorado. Fun place!

Thanks for watching. Honestly watched it during editing and didn’t catch that. Noticed it after an hour of being live and already viewed.
Bad look for us as we are locals from Colorado.
      Have a great week.

Nice video. we were just there two weeks ago. After a few days at a cabin in Estes Park (our go to), we stayed 3 nights at Mt Princeton Resort which was fantastic. We were close enough to spend time in both, BV and Salida. Love that area.

Thanks for watching and commenting. We think everyone needs to have Buena Vista and Salida on their bucket lists for stops in Colorado!

It looked so fun! We really wanted to try it out. But not a good idea with a toddler. It was fun to watch other people do it though!

Colorado has a lot of good things. Unfortunately the food is not one of them! Unless you are ordering hamburger or a steak, ...forget it!

We have actually found some of our all time favorite restaurants since we have lived in Colorado. There are several hidden neighborhood gems that we would suggest to anyone. While the chains are not great, some of the local single operator restaurants offer great food. In the Denver area we love Annette in Stapleton and Spuntino in the Highlands.

That's not true. I'm not American and I've visited about 12 states, the food in colorado was one of the best

@@Jay-lr3me Like you said...you are not American! The food in England, Scotland, Ireland sucked too !
Not that you are from there, but oh please! You go to Colorado for the AWESOME MOUNTAINS, not the overpriced bad food!

Agreed! I was there last weekend. The Boat House is absolutely awful, barely edible. I ordered pizza most of the stay. But downtown area is very nice.

If I only had time for one brewery , which one would you recommend? Looks like a fun town.

Whatever you do, do not eat at the Boat House, its the worst food I've had in 4 years of living in Colorado.
