Sonet HTX 1.0 iMT or i20 Sports ivt? I actually want to try an automatic car this time but I have heard the 1.2L of i20 to be "underpowered" , also is imt convenient in city roads? Don't want to spend more than 10 lakhs for i20 and 11.5 lakhs for Sonet! Really confused. Is paying 10 lakhs for i20 ivt sportz justified just for the sake of automatic or should I forget about automatic and get Sonet HTX?

@@mr.h7406 somehow I felt i20 seat better. Sonet’s seat shape and pedals might not suit everyone. Please take a test drive to check what suits you better.
I switched from buying sonet htx to i20 asta (o) because i20 here costs 10lakh exact and features, milage, rear seat comfort was better in i20 also kia is a new company so the service is not available everywhere that's y

Which one should i prefer Sonet HTK Plus petrol manual or Hyundai i20 Asta petrol manual? Both are at the same price point. I believe i20 delivers more value however i am drawn by the appearance of Sonet as it takes you to the next segment (Compact Suv). Opinions and comments are welcome. Please vote.

Thanks for comparing the new i20 Asta and Sonet HTX diesel. Actually I am also confused between the above vehicles. I want to buy an automatic car so can I buy Sonet HTK Plus Diesel AT or I should buy Sonet HTX diesel manual ? If I buy HTK Plus automatic I will get less features compared to HTX. Please suggest. @@mithun.s_ similar, if you are driving on normal roads and highways, i20 is planted and easy to manuever. Sonet has that slight SUVish body roll feel when driving. If in your place roads are not good, the ground clearance of sonet can help.

Hy we were planing nexon amt automatic bt as cvt is better we are confused as we live in himachal and mostly we will be driving in hills and iam female so i have to learn driving right now iam only one that will be driving in my family so which car or mid suv will be better for us in fully automatic below 12-13 lakh on road
Hi , according to me you should go for a manual as it is best suited for hills. But if you're looking for an automatic , then you may face problems in hills. You can look for sonet imt gtx plus variant . It costs approx 14 lakhs on road . Imt is a good combination of manual and automatic transmissions. More importantly look for a car with hill descent.

@@rohinijyestha1146 yes go for imt . Dct in hills is not good as u need to put car on neutral every time u stop. And in hills stops are frequent. But best option is a manual transmission . According to me , learn to drive a manual and buy a manual transmission car. Otherwise go for imt
Sonet interior looks like Gubare wale plastics used inside the car. It is so light that you can make a hole by punching it.

@@orlinadson1141 ok..buy 1.2l petrol sonet..you will feel the lag...and you are spending 9.8l for that...I did test drive both the cars...i20 1.2l performance is far better because of aerodynamic body..and I felt more premium and comfortable...how can you say it's not worth? Hyundai had increased length width bootspace wheelbase and digital instrument cluster with tyre pressure monitor..after all these you are expecting them to reduce the price...better you can choose omni
@@sridhart360 I'm a casual driver not a sports racer, i20 is worth only for features loving humans, your digital instrument cluster and tyre pressure monitoring system doesn't matter to me, I love the old school analog. I hope you know what are needs and wants in a car or anything in such matter. Clearly i20 has crossed it's pricing limits and come to compact suv's. Gift your dad a omni lol.

@@chaitanyakiran the difference is, in i20 you would get the top model where you get second top model in sonet for same price. Like Asta O and htx. If you want same features, need to shell out a bit more on sonet. I don’t think there is any feature that is present in sonet that is not there in i20 or vice versa, apart from the diesel automatic variant availability in sonet. I personally like the driving dynamics of i20 compared to sonet. If you want to take the thrill of driving, a hatch provides better dynamics. If not, SUV would provide you more vertical space which elevates the overall sense of available space.
