Boston Red Sox played yesterday one of the first comments from a fan was “I really like this team i hope the owners invest” they to are frustrated as they see the huge potential but know fsg aren’t spending enough to make them champions
Nothing much will be done until the euros are done.
I did expect something to happen in regards to Salah though. He is not playing in a tournament now and no news except some laughable stuff about Galatasary signing him. If he does not want to sign a new contract or Liverpool does not want to extend, then this would be the best time to do it, so we have cash before the busy days of the market starts following the euros.

I'm content with LFC operating with an internal gag order in place. It's the smart way to conduct business. Let selling clubs, player's agents, and journalists with a deadline blow smoke to promote their interests. It's amusing at best and boring at worst. Frustrating? Not at all. We rebuilt our midfield last summer. How many names did we know about before a deal happened? Does the club pass on disinterest in a player to protect the fan base from untrue expectations? Maybe. Slot said we have a good squad. Can we get better? Sure. I trust the staff to make the best decisions for the team and when it's time, it will happen. Everything else is just noise by people that don't matter. What was it, 9 or 10 matches left and we were in first place in a season that what, only VVD and Harvey didn't miss long stretches and a couple of the young guys stepped up big time? We have needs, but not major weaknesses.

It's no suprise to me. I don't see why we should go for Nico as a replacement for Diaz in the first place. The kid doesn't score..and still has alot of learning to do.
He's 6 yrs younger! Lots of time to learn and become a goal scorer, Diaz on the other hand, you can't teach an old dog new tricks!
@@mikelfc12 Gakpo is a left winger though, that's the thing. He's clearly better on the left too. Klopp really did a number on him by putting him in midfield or as a false 9 because he was obsessed in trying to recreate another Firmino.

calafori news pisses me off especially. a young left footed CB which we’ve been after for a couple years now. not a big fee. can’t tell me juve have better pulling power than us other than being in italy. i love liverpool but the transfers always is so frustrating.
I really don't see why we keep on about nico Williams, there is no way fsg will make the transfer on that sum of money. And we can't say "what about all the wages we just got off the books" because we still need more than just nico as a signing
The guy is dirt cheap in transfer fee. Yes there is a problem in terms of wages, but that can be handles with a nice signing on bonus. I like him for Liverpool.
@jonb3150 I think you're giving the owners too much benefit of the doubt. Say we get nico on 150k a week and a hefty signing on bonus. We still need a cb, a cdm and possibly another winger so there's 3 more transfers, 3 more salaries and what if all of them say "well that kid has a nice bonus, I want that too". Sadly I just don't see it

Nico Williams is too expensive for FSG thats a fact! They have done a mistake paying 80 mil for Darwin so i don't think that they will pay again that amount of money for a player any soon... And about Calafiori, when is about italian valuble players almost everytime Juventus or Inter have priority like the same with german players where Bayern select every valueble player from there... So my opinion as a Liverpool fan is that is gonna be another frustrating transfer window for us and another season when will be almost there almost champions almost beating City like every year. I'm so tired and frustrated about this management.

Craig as I said to you last night, no chance of it happening! 21 year old that isn’t proven. 8 goals and you’re saying let’s pay £180k… So he’s on £250k now. So he’d probably want £280-300k. So if we paid him £180k as you said last night on chat. That means over a 5 year deal. You’d have pay him 25m signing on fee to cover that 100k a week difference 🤦🏻♂️ it’s not a risk worth taking! Michael Edwards was great at what he did 8-9 yrs ago, now everyone is doing it. The talent pool is shrinking, and with everyone looks ng at same players, the only thing you can do to secure is outbid. Unfortunately, we wil not do that. We will be found out, now that Klopp is gone. We will now see that it wasn't edwards or anybodu else, it was Klopp!

As I've said for 2 years, if Gakpo plays from the left, he's one of the best in Europe, and he's proving my point right now. Have you been watching his performances? I'd love for one of you who wanted him sold to reply to this comment after watching him for the Dutch side.
I'll reiterate as I have since he signed. If he plays from the left, he's easily one of our best players. He's more technically sound and composed I the final third than any of our forwards.
If you have any doubt, just check his numbers only when he's played from the left. He's a goal or assist per game. That's world-class.
I look forward to Slot playing him in the right position instead of sacrificing him to get Diaz in the team... and him being one of the best players in the league next season👌

Buy Nico regardless of Luis Diaz sale. Luis Diaz has always been more exciting on the right anyway. And judging by reports he will want to move to Spain anyway, if not this summer, then next summer.

I don't think Williams is the answer, there are just as good options if not better for the same or less. His output in terms of goals/assists isn't fantastic. Not saying he's a bad player by any stretch, but there are options
Sell Diaz n Salah is a must, I'd go all out for Williams
