Brad showing up in his Sunday’s best pjs
Its giving fashion
It’s giving well rested
Now- 🤭
I look like I’m about to go for a ride on the polar express
It's giving me teen pajama party vibes.
Brad the darker brown hair makes your eyes pop. The way you have your hair now looks great on you and really accentuates your features.
100% looks sooooo good!!!!
I was also thinking how much his eyes are popping in this video
Looks like a little red along the hairline??? Really looks great on you😊😊😊🎉
The hundreds of likes on this proves how much we all approve. You could have no hair and be gorgeous Brad, but a darker root, noice!
Looks really amazing. Usually the color your born with is the color to keep
Brad crying at the second cut just became my SECOND favorite Brad reaction ever!!! The first is still the first time he saw a wolf cut and the Black girl with indigo girl struck him completely speechless. Lol, he's still never looked so astounded and bewildered. These girls killed it, tho!
Yes! I was thinking the same thing!
Which video is that, you guys?
@@JacyndaMinor that vid is titled “Hairdresser Reacts To People Doing 'Wolf Cuts' (as seen on tiktok)” from about five years ago!
Please do a point cut video!!!
Today i was called beautiful by 2 people:
-random old granny on the street
-Brad
Both made my day:)
Thank you✨
Omg same! That's weird!
Same. Lady at Church and Brad..
You call the kind person who made your day “random old granny”? Have some respect.
a sweet grandmother
@RenataKleinRK well she was random, and a old granny, some granny's are young so idk, could of been put differently yeah, but its not a mean thing
I think Brad's hair right now is so flattering! It really brings out his eyes and goes great with his skin tone. Also the texture and styling are great!
wow, i love u ❤️
You're really rocking the sorta scruffy 5 o' clock shadow. Makes you look like such a baddie 😎🔥@@BradMondo
I was thinking the same thing!!! I love the cut and color 🤩😍
I love how Brad is so open-minded; even if it looks like it's going poorly, he's always willing to say what is going right
He's such a great teacher!
3 words....BANANAS IN PAJAMAS 😂
You're the best Brad....1000% love!
Yes!
Yes, Brad please make a point cut video and definitely add how to use thinning scissors. I bought the ones you listed years ago and get noticeable lines in my stick straight hair. ❤I love your videos!
YESSSS.
Yes please!!!
Point cutting directly into the hair will take out weight from the section, pointing cutting with the scissors at an angle will make the straight like a little more choppy to give it texture. Not what he said in the video. Love his content but it was incorrect.
Thinning shears also come in various versions to thin out less or more hair
YESSS I second this 👏 Go off, KING 👑
he said in this video (9:40) the noticeable chops from thinning shears are from cutting the hair where it lays normally. (I personally like to take vertical sections and pull them straight up, and a little diagonal over the top of my head (like pulling the left side to the right) to get good overdirection. it's hard to get the layering effect with more horizontal sections in my experience. I hope your next cut goes well!
but also I'd still love a video going more in depth about thinning shears
The timing on this is perfect. My oldest tried to cut her hair the other day, without a mirror or a plan, the night before a big dance. I followed Brad’s original butterfly cut tutorial and saved it the best I could. I’m really proud of myself for putting the front pony between her eyebrows right now 😂
Awww what a great mom! 😊
I love my thigh length straight hair but after watching Brad reacting on butterfly cuts almost everyday I guess am gonna try it
God give me courage to cut at least 5 inches
u got this girl I'm rooting for u❤
DO IT! You'll have healthier hair that will look thicker! ❤
Go for it! My hair was just as long and all the same length when I did my first butterfly cut. I kept most of my length and it layered nicely. I took off 9 inches, I believe, and it was still down past my butt. Last week, about 6 months after the first cut, I decided to do it again. I tried to go even shorter to get my hair just to my butt, so I wasn't sitting on it still. I also wanted a bit more layering in the front with bangs just a tad shorter. My hair is just the right length now and I have even more beautiful layering. My bangs are shorter, but they're still several inches longer than where my chin is. I'm thinking of even going back in and doing it a bit shorter. This is huge for me, because I've always had hair at least down to my butt, and haven't had layers since elementary school. Just start off slow, with a few inches and then go back in if it's not enough. That's what I did because I was worried about cutting it too short. You can always go back and take a little more, but if you go nuts with the scissors, you may cut too much and regret it. 😼
Just do it😂
thnq all cutir patootie baby girlies, now I'll definitely do it
Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful mamas out there! Love you, Brad!!!
I'm a cat mom😻
Thank you! That was so sweet! Ditto!
And I usually like blonde guys, but you, for some reason look REALLY good with darker hair.
@@pamelamorrisonn💀
@@pamelamorrisonnI'm a dog AND a cat mama!! All rescue babies! 😘🐾
Love that the front ponytail in Brad's video also isn't in between the eyebrows but the middle of the forehead 18:56
Same
yes the butterfly cut literally saves us from having to go to the hair dresser for touch up cuts so our hair grows better because we're cutting our hair regularly, i literally get so many compliments on my hair now since i've started watching your videos and listening to what you have to say and my hair has always been such an insecurity for me so thank you so much brad!
Imagine Brad Mondo said that your hair is the most beautiful hair he has ever seen in his entire life! Lucky Girl! ❤
My mom gave me one not long ago using your tutorial and I love it! To be fair, she is a retired hair dresser lol.
Today was a breath of fresh air!! High fives to all of them! They crushed it!!
Fellow hairdresser here saying yes brad. The world needs a tutorial of point cutting. PLEASE.
this haircut just doesn't look good unless styled and i simply do not have the time or energy 😭
IKR 😭 I have a big forehead and thinning hair in the front and I absolutely want to avoid any damage to hair at this point and don't have the energy to be absolutely careful too😭 there's no haircuts for me
OMG thank you so much for reacting to my video! I can’t wait to take your tips and improve my cut next time ❤ And YES please Brad make a point cutting video! I want to learn the real way ✂️
Real hairdressers following Brad's tutorials is something i didn't know i needed but now i need more
The last lady said she was a hairdresser and that I'm sure helped a ton.
Was about to say the same thing
I was surprised how great that came out. Really hard to do with all those lengths🎉❤😅
Every other video reacting to butterfly cuts, they’re always bad/underwhelming because they don’t cut enough. Everyone in this video understood the assignment and it paid off 👏👏
12:48 if you make Brad cry bc your hair is so pretty… wow. Achievement unlocked! I loved it.
This should have been called the thicc haired girlies vid! And we need more of these thick hair vids bc it’s so different to do almost everything if you’ve got thick hair
Rewatching gossip girl, and this look is really giving season 1 Nate, I can't unsee it 😂
omg 😂😂😂😂
Same!!!
All of the brunettes knowing the assignment!! Wow! They all looked beautiful! I'm impressed!!
love brad in his brown hair era
I think Brad has the prettiest eyes I’ve ever seen ✨
Lotta soul in those eyes!
I have a body made for radio, so I didn’t do a video, but I did the butterfly cut about a month ago and I’m super happy and have beautiful layers. The tutorial does work if you follow directions. 😂
"I have a body made for radio" girl same 😂😂😂😂
Brad your haircolour right now is soooooo beautiful!😍 It compliments your eyes (the darker pieces) but the warm dark blonde also compliments your skintone soo much! You're glowing🌞
I feel like you’ve given so many people the ability and confidence to cut their own hair. I now do this for my hair and it is so nice to just have a haircut in 15 minutes. Thank you!
Brad, please please do more on pixie cuts/bowl cut pixies! I’m struggling with my pixie cut and need inspiration for cuts and confidence to but it myself. Pleeeeease!
We wore that cut in the late 70's. 😂
Brad, you look terrific with the brown and highlights! I like it a lot more than the ultra blonde. It brings out a glow in your skin and you look super healthy!
I loved the first few but that last one was on a whole other level. I might actually try this myself. I just did a cut and colour last week (as usual, in the middle of the night- when I usually get inspiration) but it might be time for a little bit of layering. I'm inspired by the results on this vid. Thanks loverly peeps!
Wow - what a compliment to the second lady - that she has the most beautiful hair you've ever seen in your life!! It did look amazing!!
Thank you for showing my video. I very much appreciate you and showcasing my modification of your cut on your channel. God bless you Brad!
As a stylist, business owner, and MOM, this was the perfect end to my day. Much love 😘
Brads hair is giving late 2000s Abercrombie dream boat
Brad please teach us your point-cutting magic!!! ❤️. Your tutorials have helped me successfully keep my daughters hair trimmed nicely, without having to pay salon prices. Thank you!
Brad, I can sense you are doing so well. I can feel you are happier and happier! You are radiant! So glad for you. 🤗
He’s seemed happier since his fake “step away from social media” to go get that nose job in Miami.
I watch you on the regular. I have to say, doing your hair at home not only is very rewarding, you also save (monetarily) quite a bit! My mom, for instance, she's almost 80 and still colors her own hair. She has been doing it since her late 30s, early 40s when she stopped taking me to the salon as a child/teen, also because I started experimenting cutting my own hair (oh the hours of fun I had). But calculate it sometime. My mom has saved a brandnew SUV doing her own hair. Also YT videos (Regal Gentleman) have shown us how to cut dad's hair and we have started to when Covid struck, as barbers in my country (Belgium) all got shut down for months on end. Even our politicians were rocking the 60s shag. LOL ;) My dad said he prefers the way we cut his hair (short back & sides + scissored up top). And it really is not that difficult to do a short man's cut. Maybe that's an idea for you to start tutorials on, Brad! Because it's a great skill to have especially if you have kids.
i tried the butterfly cut and ended up cutting my hair off cuz i messed up 😭
new fear unlocked.
I always make sure my ponytail is in the right spot because of you 😂
Loved the positivity in this video. I also love the butterfly cut. Never fails me
Ahhh, to have gorgeously smooth Asian hair. I have 2a-b fine hair. I get horrible frizz and I am now post menopause. Ugh.
First time watching Brad. He's hilarious.
I did my first butterfly haircut last week. I follow Brad Mondo's video and I ended up cutting off a good 10 inches on the front part of my hair alone... AND IT FEELS GREAT!!!!
Yes! Point cutting and thinning tutorial 👌😆
Got so many bad cuts at the hair salons that I just ended up going with more simple hairstyles and I always bring a reference photo for same face shape/ hair type as mine. And when all these fail, i learned how to cut my own hair: thank you Brad for all your tips and tricks videos , those were a big help 😊
I just did my daughter’s second butterfly cut from last year using Brad’s easy tutorial. She is one happy 16 yr old. Thank you Brad! ❤
Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful momma's. Love ya Brad. I do cut my own butterfly cut, always comes out great!
Heeey… Happy Mother’s Day y’all!
Wow, lovely. I love my first butterfly cut I did in December. I cut the fringe in the right spot and angle. It’s the first time my hair has had body and life in several years and I’m in my 50s. Thanks Brad for all the confidence you’ve given me to do it. ❤ Haven’t needed to cut it again yet.
So happy I went and got my hair done yesterday so I didn’t delusion myself into thinking I could do this.
Love the shape in the back! That is how I always shape my hair. But I do this cut the regular way. I just cut the higher ponytail into a V so it comes out in a V point after, but I still have all the laters.
What do yo mean cut the ponytail into a “V”? Are you cutting so the the edges are higher and the middle is longer (coming to a point)?
This is the best mother's day gift 🥰
I'm smiling secretly bc this is how I intuitively managed my (nordic curly) hair my whole life 🤭 and it's funny this home cutting method now has a name! If you stop to think where to direct your length it's super easy and a fast way to get layers. Must admit, I've never been to a hairdresser to get a haircut 😱.. but Brad, I fully enjoy your videos 🩷✨
The last time I cut my hair, I followed the first video instructions. My hair came out so pretty! And it is growing perfectly!
I needed this happiness right now, thank you.
These were all so pretty! This has been my go to haircut. Due to aging and health issues my hair has thinned significantly. Adding all these layers helps make it look a bit less obvious how thin it is. Love it ❤️
I feel this. I will be sad when it’s not in style anymore😢
WOW! The second hair cut and style was so amazing and being it was dedicated to you Brad is perfecto.
Wow! Really LOVED that last Mondo Butterfly cut modification & style! I Just would like to ask her how she did her eye makeup so professionally like that? I need a tutorial on that too! Thx for that GREAT video, Mondo!
I literally just did a wolf cut 3 hours ago. Turned out great , thanks Brad Mondo!!🎉
I think I have blanket hair, it’s my security blanket😅
This is the best thumbnail I’ve ever seen, fricken hilarious.
i think this is a great hair color for you Brad! It's making your skin pop!
I think your hair looks best like this Brad! Love this look too!
What a coincidence that I tried your butterfly cut just an hour ago😂❤
Brad, this is the first of your videos I’ve watched and I’m already a huge fan! You are just pure sunshine, hun! 😊💜
My family and I are watching as we enjoy this Mothers Day...❤❤
I missed you and the butterfly cuts are so fun to watch even if people don’t do it right but it doesn’t matter your reaction is funny
Re-dyed my hair black last night and thought of you Brad. I gave into the intrusive thoughts to dye my eyebrows and was having Brad Mondo video flashbacks, "don't do it!" So I grabbed a q-tip and did it 😂
Impulsive thoughts. Impulsive thoughts and intrusive thoughts are different.
@@stillnotstillyep, intrusive thoughts are like, “here’s a pile of dead puppies!” Or “rotten fruit? EAT IT!” They are incredibly distressing, usually the worst, most horrific images and ideas possible barging into your brain if there’s the slightest bit of slack in your processing and engagement. For me, one of the worst times is when I’m running water and the sound drowns out the podcast or video I’ve been listening to for long enough that my mind conjures and throws up the most precious things in the world to me meeting absolutely obscene, violent ends. It’s so f**ked up. _It’s so f**ked up_
I would literally kill to have hair like the second girls! It's so gorgeous!
I loved the hair stylist at the end!!! She was funny and informational! Didnt see a problem with brads tutorial, but its great to have another pros opinion
Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mommas, thanks Brad for the video today. A little present for us moms💕
I don’t know what to comment but I’m early.
Ima just casually hit subscribe.. And watch this guy for 5 more hours.. And laugh my head off while enjoying his content at all the funny parts.. Ever so casually...
These have got to be the best butterfly cuts I’ve seen
When did brads voice get so deep!
I love you braddd !! Xxx
I used that first tutorial last summer and it was the best haircut I've ever had! Just did it again last week ❤
I LOVE watching how excited you get on the home do's! Love watching you!
my hair is way too long and it's wavy and dark like all of these women. so this must be a Sign. I'm going to find some scissors
😂
Definitely make a point cutting video because a lot of people act like they’re doing it when they don’t know what the hell it is
That color is really cute darker hair definitely suits you more imo makes your complexion and eyes glow
I *LOVE* the brown on you
Makes you look very lively (nice, healthy skin color), which in turn makes your eyes SO striking and noticeable! (must be due to contrast between the Blue shade and skin shade)
We love Brad and we love butterfly cuts! ❤
omgg, im thinking since a while now of getting a butterfly cut at the salon, should i?
edit: also you know "'the rachel" cut is something i always wanted haha im so confused
Just do it 😊
I needed this video. Seeing all this gorgeous, long brown hair is giving me to push to actually grow my own thick brown hair out and stop chopping it.
the timing is insane cause just the other day my sister did the butterfly cut on me following your tutorial and it turned out amazing !!! 🥰 it was exactly what my hair needed, thank you brad 💜
It feels illegal to be this early
brad should put black box dye in his hair and then take us through the process of taking it out!
That would be a very noble sacrifice lol
could use one of the manikin heads instead and keep his beautiful hair safe.
Probably not his hair... maybe Ms Maniquin
Brad your videos have been getting me through some health issues recently and putting a smile on my face. ❤ youuu
I really love the last lady, she kills it. I’m gonna try the way she did it, I’ll put a video of it next week
"Not between the forehead wrinkles" 😂
I love how they are using your tips and advice and doing such a great job!!!
I love seeing people not too worried about their hair since it does grow back! It's fun to do a little experiment now and then :D
that first hair cut is hands down the best home hair cut i have ever seen and i was so skeptical at first!
Love your tutorials, and using your instructions a month ago, I bleached my hair and did the butterfly cut. I love it so much ❤ thank you
The first one is similar to how I used to give myself layers before I spent almost 10 years learning a valuable lesson: intense layers are best on densely packed, thick hair. When you don't have thick hair, layers can very easily be the cause of not being able to grow your hair back out past about the braline. The reason being that your mids and ends are thinner and lose the strength of numbers. I finally gave up, took the big chop to get rid of the remaining layers, and in 2 and a half years my hair is back down, longer than I was able to get it the whole 10 years I tried stubbornly to grow out my gair while retaining layers. Yes, it means I have a blunt cut, but at least I can find out now where my terminal length MIGHT actually be, instead of knowing 100% that I'm nowhere close to hitting it, and then I'll try a couple layer. I'm all about the long hair, though, or I'd definitely try her technique.
Whoa every end result gave me all the good feelings ✨
I did this to my hair last week- wasn’t perfect but u can see a huge transformation!!!! Thanks Brad ❤
