OMG, ALREADY LIKED IT, DITCHED ANOTHER TH-camR I WAS WATCHING AND CLICKED ON THIS NOTIF SO FAST. I BINGED WATCHED YOUR VIDEOS UP UNTIL NOW AND I AM SOO READY FOR THIS SKDJSKXJKCID THANK YOU GUYS SOO MUCH YA’LL ARE GREAT!! Now let me watch the video fr lmao 💜💜💜
FO Squad K-POP okay I just finished watching the whole thing..I’m sad it’s over BUT .. duuuude.. YOU GUYS ARE GENIUSES AND ARE SOOO CLOSE TO ALL OF OUR THEORIES TOO!! This is amazing cuz when this story line dropped.. I kid you not, ARMYS all over the world turned into investigators and detectives and theorists trying to crack an unknown code. You two watched this video ONCE and got relatively close to the main theory we all came up with. Keep doing what you’re doing, I cannot wait for the next video. Thank you so much once again. 💜💜💜
Yes u right.. is like 7 story in 1 music video... A masterpiece... A hardship in our every day life... Depression.. poverty.. etc.. whenever I watch this video its remind me few of my friend had a same struggle and I feel so helpless coz I can't help them.. 😢😢
The whole music video storyline is just about abusive relationships in general. Whether it be with a girl, drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, your parents, depression, or anxiety. Their songs may say girl but it can really translate to any of those things. The characters they are portraying are in an abusive relationship with one of those things. This is part of the beginning of the storyline where they act these characters out literally. In the second half during the wings period. They acted them out figuratively almost like you are inside their mind. PS blood sweat and tears is part of the second half of the story line.
You guys are right about 'girl' being a subliminal message. It was originally worded as 'I need you friend', but it just didn't sound right, so the lyrics ended up getting changed and girl just happened to be the one that fit the best. Great pickup though ;)
No actually its a about the girl that broke there heart some cheated on them some left them some broke up with them the theme is actually the girl that broke there heart look in the first scene in the original ver. Of i need you there all crying because there relationship was broken
Farlie Canta I think you need to review the BTS storyline. I NEED U isn’t about a girl at all. The “girl” is just the outer shell of the MV. They use the “girl” as a symbol for everything the represented in there. Although they were heartbroken, it wasn’t because of a girl specifically.
Farlie Canta no it was not about a girl because it was supposed to be I need a friend but it wasn’t catchy. However the song can be interpreted in different ways so it technically could mean I need a girl
Y’all are my favorite reactors, like you truly appreciate and try to understand the story, which is what we all love and why we keep going back for more ❤️ can’t wait for you to react to the next part which is On Stage: Prologue BTS make sure to react to the eng sub too 😊
The lyrics are usually not necessarily connected with the MV At least the MV is not about a girl but in a way the context of the song - about missing somone and being dependent of that person to the point that you can't work correctly without them - goes with the story behind the MV and how the members seem to enjoy the simple moments of life when they're together but they can't manage themselves while being appart
Actually the series called HYYH trilogy started in 2015 with the song "I Need U" . Wings series including the 7 short films that it began with came way later in 2016. You are sort of jumping the gun here! HYYH is Chinese characters that are short for "Hwa Yong Yeon Hwa" which is a saying that roughly means either youth in bloom or 'The Most Beautiful Time (or moments) in Life' which also was the title of a film made at the time that RM liked and was also influenced by! Basically this is about the pain, anguish, frustration and angst one faces in youth while growing up! Which can cause depression or even suicide. Also it's about the direction and choices one makes. In the Korean language there actually isn't even a word for girl this is a rough translation but also for the PG side of this song it makes it more relatable to the masses and society who does not want to delve into the darker side which in Korea they were actually not even allowed to talk about til recently after the last corrupt president got impeached! There is an extremely high rate of depression and suicide especially with the younger generation in Korea! This was not allowed to be talked about but BTS took the chance in doing so! BTS also write songs since their very first song telling youth to never give up your dreams no matter what anyone says! Never give up hope and to keep fighting for your dreams! This song, by the way was the first song that they won an award for as the best song for the very first time! The next song which is the continuation of the storyline where V/Tae kills his stepfather for beating up on his sister and J-Hope collapsed from taking too many pills and Jimin was in such despair he was contemplating drowning in the bathtub, Suga trying to burn his family house down with himself in it! Rm working in the gas station being disgusted and totally fed up with the way he's treated by having money thrown at him on the ground rather than handed to him. They are only happy and feel any kind of love nurturing and support when they are together with each other!! Jin is the only one sort of on the outside looking in. He in the beginning is putting "white petals" (there are actually 6 petals) that most likely represent each one of the 6 other members on the ground and burning them. White flowers and wearing white as well in Korean culture can mean death as well as burning the petals! Does that mean that the other 6 members other then Jin are already dead? Does it mean that Jin is dead or there was a theory early on that the other 6 members are just a manifestation of Jin representing the different sides in him at different times!!! And that Jin is the only one that really exists. The next song - ["Eng Sub] BTS On Stage: Prologue MV" - is the continuation where V/Tae calls on his friend for support then it goes back to happier times or is it now right after? This is not made clear and has been topic of many a discussion! The Prologue captures them being with each other in happier times with some of their most beautiful songs playing in the background like "Butterfly". The filming is amazing and so heart wrenchingly beautiful and so touching! ATTENTION: Please see "BTS Prologue" to the very end past the credits that have their song "House of Cards" instrumental version playing in the background!! There is more of the film after the credits that show an important part with Jin looking at a photo that may give you clues to many questions you might have! The next third song of the 4 in the series will be - BTS "Run" MV - That is an absolutely fantastic song as well and in it all the members are now acting out in the height of frustrations! The fourth song is BTS "Forever Young" . After that comes the 7 Wings short stories which will lead you into the Wings series much of which was taken from the novel "Demian" by Hermann Hesse especially the song "Blood, Sweat & Tears. Which is about youth growing up now into adulthood and the choices made good or evil. Influences being encountered that can effect you or possibly corrupt you. There are also so many theories about all of these series that continue on after Wings! There is even talk about an alternative universe and many more theories! In the 2016 song B,S&T Jin represents BTS now going into adulthood and the choices he makes.
SPOILER ALERTTTTT Jin stabbed himself using V's hand though? (In Save Me webtoon) I think the stabbing part in the MV is the time when Jin wasn't a time traveler yet, so, it isn't Jin. It's his father. Unless, I didn't see the face of who he is stabbing then, I'm wrong. But I sure am positive, it's his father.
@@yesyesyes329 the first it's his dad, but then that counts as a "failure" so Jin goes back in time, then tries to stop him, then gets stabbed (which is also counted as failed time leap)
18:22 "I think he stabbed somebody else" I have to read Save Me webtoon to realize what happened on that scene, but youu bro you got it in one watch. WOW! I salute you to thaat!
yes because he is the oldest hyung and his obligation is to take care of each member. for example he reallytakes care of the youngest, jungkook, he drived him to school when jungkook was younger.
this is a handful, you guys are really good at figuring stuff out and i think that following the whole song/mv line, it could help you a bit more, the storyline is really sad, but it’s something really good
I love you guys so much. continue to do what you do cause you may not realize it but you are putting smiles on our faces and helping us through tough time with just your reactions ❤️♥️🌸
The lyrics of the song don’t really go with the video. I LOVE your reactions btw! Also you’ll have to watch a few more videos to kinda understand the storyline. Make sure you watch them In order (take your time but, it would make it sooo much easier if you could tell them apart well, cause there are important details that you’d have to know who’s who, or who’s doing what)
There's one short film for each member btw. 1:Begin (Jungkook) 2:Lie (Jimin) 3:Stigma(Taehyung;V) 4:First Love(Yoongu;Suga) 5:Reflection(Namjoon;RM) 6:MAMA (Hoseok;Jhope) 7:Awake (Jin) In that order you should watch them, some members are connected with others or have things that have to do with each other. I won't spoil but one obvious one is that the whistle that was in Begin will also be in First Love, another example is how in stigma there will be I a phone booth and broken glass, and in Reflection there will be a phone booth and broken glass.
*Story* Everyone seems to have a certain problem exept Jin. We see Jhope Overdosing. Jungkook getting bullied. V family problems,*I think its his actual dad thats beating his sister btw*. Jimin facing depression. Suga just suicidal. And RM is working a job that is miserable and bad. That flower pedal represents the members im pretty sure.
@@Jelleh25 lol the reason I said just is because he seemed to be motivated by chaos and not sadness. I guess jimin was suicidal too but more emotional so I labeled his role as a depressed person instead. I said just because we don't see(or maybe I missed it) a good reason why he is suicidal. Jimins reasons was emotions but Suga perhaps locks his emotions inside and that makes us unsure what is causing his pain.
The mv is about pain, struggles, depression and anger and i feel like when they all are together they are happy and living there lifes, and when they go there sperate ways they come back to reality and meets struggles, pains, anger, and depressions. Idk but thats what i think
"I feel like him putting down the flower pedals means something" Me: Holds breath *IF YOU KNEW* Omg I love your commentary, it's so close to what I think as well xD please keep watching the order I need U 19+ MV - On Stage: Prologue (With Subtitles and watch until end of credits!) - Run MV (watch until end of credits) - Epilogue: Young Forever - WINGS Short Films #1-7 (Watch them with subtitles) #1 Begin #2 Lie #3 Stigma #4 First Love #5 Reflection #6 Mama #7 Awake - Boy Meets Evil - Blood, Sweat and Tears MV + Japanese version but be careful with copyright for Japanese content - Love Yourself: Highlight Reels - Euphoria - Singularity (Intro) - Fake Love (Teaser 1+2) - Fake Love MV - Fake Love (extended ver.) - Epiphany
I NEED U IS THE REASON WHY DID I BECAME AN ARMY IN YEAR 2015 (MAY 15 2015 , TUESDAY, THE EXACT DAY THAT I BECAME AN ARMY, THAT'A A SPECIAL DAY TTO BTS TOO. BECAUSE IT WAS THEY'RE FIRST WIN IN MUSIC CORE WITH THE SONG I NEED U)
Idk if this helps a little better but I Need U is beginning of the storyline. Most ARMYs think that almost every music video (including the Japanese ones!!) is part of the same storyline. The short film you reacted to was only one of the seven that exist. Each short film has an official song with only one member on it. You've truly entered the hole and I love u guys for it! Keep it up 💜💜
Yes u right.. is like 7 story in 1 music video... A masterpiece... A hardship in our everylife... Depression.. poverty.. etc.. whenever I watch this video its remind me few of my friend had a same struggle and I feel so helpless coz I can't help them.. 😢😢
honestly, so many of us have watched every single mv hundreds of times because we absolutely need to examine every subtle hint they give us. even if it seems irrelevant, it’s probably not. bts puts things into their mvs for a reason. I’m really glad how you guys are making a huge effort to understand what’s happening! oh, and for what’s happening to the exact members: -Jungkook presumably gave up on everything, and so he’s allowing himself to get beaten up and hit by the car (remember the sound of a car crash in the Wings: Begin video? that references this) -V killed his father, who was an abusive alcoholic to his mother (some people thinks it’s his sister, nothing’s been confirmed) -Jimin is shown burning a note before drowning himself in the tub (remember in Fake Love when the water was rushing down around Jimin?) -Namjoon (RM) actually ends up causing that gas station he worked at to explode -J-Hope tríes to commit suicide by overdosing on pills (at the end he pours his pills into the fire, and remember the pills!! it’ll show up again in Wings: MAMA) -Suga is shown pouring gasoline everywhere before setting it on fire, wanting to kill himself -finally, Jin. Jin is the hardest one to understand. He’s shown with 6 petals in his hands. One for each member aside from himself. Some people think that he’s dead and that all of the members are suicidal because they’re mourning over him being gone. Others think that he’s the one alive and the other 6 are dead.) A whole lot will show up later. Watch the Korean mv and the Japanese mv (if it has one). Like the Japanese version of Blood Sweat & Tears. They’re all connected. Things in the background nobody would have even thought about are connected. For example, there was a shirt hanging in Suga’s room in I Need U that you later find out to be Jungkook’s shirt in Run. Little things like that. Ugh, it’s a whole lot, but you’ll catch on! Good luck!
This is youth. No one understand them but other youths like them. They aren't exactly adult enough to runaway, or child enough to stay. RM and the group's projection on this song, mv and album has exceed expectations and speak the unspoken truth about a lot of aspect needs to be understood by the adults, and consoles the youth. This album is legendary.
The whole BTS story line is very deep but it's fictional. Each member has a different story and trouble. When they are together, they are kind of healing. I don't fully understand the story but that's all I know.
they’re the happiest together, individual shot; they are all in a bad state facing problems on their own. then when they are together they’re problems are gone and they are happy
HE LITERALLY PREDICTED WHAT HAPPENED IN SAVE ME WEBTOON WITH TAEHYUNG AND SEOKJIN AT 18:20 WHERE TAEHYUNG STABBED SEOKJIN INSTEAD OF HIS FATHER WHAT THE FUCK
A lot of people have already commented about the time line for watching the videos, so I won't. But, I personally love how this MV connects to the Fake Love MV so much. Jimin is drowning in the tub here, and then is surrounded by the falling water in Fake Love. Suga sets his room on fire here, and then has the fire about to consume him in Fake Love. Jin is seen caring for a flower and petals here, and opening curtains, then in Fake Love he closes the curtains and you see him struggling to protect the flower in the glass case, etc.
So the song actually doesn’t go with the video. This video is the start to their BU storyline. There’s videos in between I Need You and Wings that y’all have to watch to follow the storyline. After y’all watch all the videos that’s part of the storyline, I recommend you watch xCeleste videos with the theories and the timeline for the storyline to help give y’all a better understanding. I do enjoy watching y’all react and try to come up with your own theories. Keep up the awesome work 🤗💜
If you noticed there are pairs: Jimin (water) and JHope (pills) V (I'm not sure) and Rm (lollipop) Jungkook (I'm not so sure) and Suga (he represents piano and fire) and Jin is by himself (flowers) Make sure to watch prologue, run, forever young before watching rest of the short films. In that pattern The short films also take that pattern and involve connections with the pairs. I won't say much more so I don't spoil it.
17:37> No, this was not his mom, it was his sister, and the father beats her, but the guy (tae) kills him for that. (tae explained his killing scene in the behind the scenes video, it was hard to find)
At the end of the MV when the boys has their hands up . You can see a bird flying away and they’re cheering like that’s all the depression and pain flying away.😥🤔😞❤️❤️(I almost cried)🥺🥺💕💕❤️❤️
*I'm not kidding when I say I had a day off today and I stumbled upon your reaction video of Ddaeng and that is how I started watching all the reaction videos and at this point I can truly say you'll are the best reactors of BTS I've seen till now.* *The best part is that I can see the process of starting as a non K-pop Listener to becoming curious about K-pop to getting to know about BTS and then going crazy about every video of theirs to the point where you attend their concerts is the process of becoming an Army. I went through it within the past two years*
Each of the seven boys tells a specific story, and the combined music video tells the story of the pain and hardships of youth. The song by itself is about the dying relationship between two lovers. In the context of the music video, it is about the dying relationship between a young person and their, well, basically their youth, happiness, and even life. The common theme is that even though the boys have their own individual problems, they were able to forget them when together, having a good time. If we break down each individual member’s significance to the story, in order of age… Jungkook- Estrangement His character is a wandering, lost teen. He accidentally starts a fight with two hoodlums (fun fact: played by the managers) but he doesn’t have the willpower to fight back, or maybe avoid conflict. Likewise when he walks into the street as a car approaches. What Jungkook represents, especially as the youngest member, is a lack of hope and motivation that plagues many youth today. V-Independence V kills his father. Mull over that for a bit. In the context of an extremely filial Korean culture, this is extremely symbolic. Much like the younger boy, he becomes very distant from guiding figures: father, home, and friends. The latter is especially noticeable in the Prologue and Stigma videos. Jimin- Depression He tries to drown himself but can’t do it. Not knowing how to deal with his problems, he turns to suicide, but something is holding him back, keeping him alive. This is most likely the presence of his friends. When the seven boys are shown together, they are happy and can temporarily forget their inner struggles. Rap Monster- Duty and Repressed Self He works at a gas station where he is mistreated by the customer, and is the only member who is seen rapping/singing in the music video: “It goes round and round…I go down and down…I’m talking to myself again.” His job is boring, Rap Monster the rapper seems out of place, but there is nothing else to do. The lollipop that turns into a cigarette stands for people who try to repress their addiction to harmful, “adult,” substances like nicotine, and replace it with something harmless like sugar. The addicted adult inside Rap Monster who wants passion, music, maybe drugs, is confined to the gas attendant lollipop man. J-Hope: Depression and Sickness He, like Jimin, is clearly suicidal as he is seen attempting to overdose on his medication. Being with his friends provides respite from his demons; he burns the pills in the bonfire. Suga- Self-Hatred This is pretty obvious, considering he tries to burn himself alive and his lyrics can be summed up to “I hate this; I hate life; I hate you.” As with most of the boys, we don’t know what the cause of his struggles is, just that they are there and very big. Jin- Growing Up Jin’s scenes are much lighter than the other members’-literally, he is in a white room-but not without pain. The six flower petals shown represent beauty and youth. However, they also stand for the six friends who, in turn, represent the bad and ugly of youth. The oldest and most mature, Jin’s character is very conflicted about leaving youth. Maybe he doesn't want to become a boring, soulless adult, but he has to leave behind the recklessness and hardship of youth that can be so treasured, like good friends.
For the "WINGS" short films... theres one for every member. Jungkook-begin Taehyung-stigma Jimin-lie Rm-reflection Jhope- mama and boy meets evil Suga-first love Jin-awake And of course all the story line :)
I'm really excited! I've been so sad these days since I hanven't opened youtube because it didn't work and when it did work, I opened the subscribed peeps and looked for yours immediately! I JUST REALLY LOVE YOUR REACTION VIDEOS! I'm not yet done with the video though, but, to know who the "girl" is, you might want to watch/REACT to the Highlight Reel. And they each have their own videos in wings😁 I CAN'T HELP EXPRESSING MY LOVE FOR YOUR REACTION VIDS!😭😭 I want you to know more already😇
When jin set the flowers on fire he kept burning himself in the bloopers and they can be all polite but Jin is really funny when he gets mad cause he shakes his whole body when hes fussing
This is my theory: Actually the I need u mv is the starting and the ending of the stories. It's the biggest clue to solve the story. As you can see there's like a scene which shows Jin with flower on his chest. It's actually something about the butterfly effect (you can search it in google to know more about this effect). You can see the same logo in some others mv of bts in the era. The story is started by Jin who tried to save his friends. (BTS members) His friend died before him. So if you can relate it with The Wings sf you can understand why and the prologue of it. In Blood, sweat and tears MV, Jin tried to save his friend by Trading himself to the evil or the Fallen Angel. In Prologue MV there's one scene tht shows V's jumping into the sea (Suicide). And recap to the Blood, sweat and tears MV V's jumping off from the balcony. And then he suddenly became the fallen angel. And back to the butterfly effect you which is also related to time travelling, Jin use to time travel to change the path of his friends. That's why in the I Need U MV There's five or six time he killed his father but at the last moment he stab him, his expression suddenly become suprised because he stab someone else and I think it's either Jin or J-hope (If it J-Hope that's mean V found him unconcious on the bridge, you can see V was walking at the same bridge) Back to Blood, sweat and tear after all of this happened I think it's V who's manipulating all of the story (you can see V close Jin's Eye in the MV and also live performance of BTS which i don't remember which one) and also Jin has to take the consuquences that cause him to cracked on his face for taking an action and dealing with the evil side. TQ for your time reading 😁😁
I just came to say that you guys are my favorite youtubers. Both of you are so insightful and introspective. Your reactions showcase your intellect and ability to empathize with other people. It’s so rare that I find quality youtube reactors like you guys. Continue what you do, we are here to support!! Thank you very much for the quality content. I love you guys!
I don't think just one video will help you understand the theories. Especially since they are all connected over multiple music videos. I think the Prologue, I need u and then run will help understand better and in that order.
I am very pleased to see how y'all are so deep into trying understand BTS' lyrics. They do tell true stories of people. I love your analytics. Please continue doing this. It's unique and different from other reacters.
I can't wait until you guys see - [Eng Sub] BTS "On Stage: Prologue" - the next one in the series!!! If you like this you will love the next one so much as well! You guys absolutely amaze me how you figured out as much as you did especially with many misleading you with the 2017 Wings that came way later and won't have much to do with this very first 2015 one in the series until much later down the line! Some how you managed to figure out so much on your own more than I or I'm sure many others could have done!! 👍😱😵😍💜❤️💜👏👏👏🐥
THERES LIKE AN ENTIRE UNDERLYING STORY THAT IS TOLD THROUGH THE MUSIC VIDEOS THAT DONT CORRELATE WITH THE MESSAGE OF THE SONG, THERES A HUGE STORY LINE WITH DIFFERENT CHARACTERS AND BACKSTORIES, ITS CRAZY! THERE ARE VIDEOS EVERYWHERE OF PEOPLE EXPLAINING IT, ITS SO AMAZING
by the way, most of the time it's the videos that are connected not the lyrics, like for example this song has nothing to do with the video, at first sight you may think that they're depressed and sad because of a girl but nooooooo, I don't want to ruin it but this is one out of the many other theories that there is, some people think that one of the members died (in the storyline) I won't say which one and this theory isn't official or confirmed so let your mind wonder off and maybe you'll come up with something
Ya'll reactions to them is so precious and comical because you sound just as beautifully entertained but so confused like we do when they release something lol.....EVERYTHING always means something and it gives you headaches trying to figure it out but it challenges our minds and keeps us engaged which is awesome.....keep it up!!
Guys, i love your thoughts so much cause it's so deep! And wanna thank u for every reaction, that u've made! Actually, as somebody has already mentioned in the comments, the whole storyline is : i need u on stage: prologue run mv epilogue: young forever then wings series wings 1# BEGIN wings 2# LIE wings 3# STIGMA wings 4# FIST LOVE wings 5# REFLECTION wings 6# MAMA wings 7# AWAKE blood sweat & tears spring day blood sweat & tears japanese version love yourself highlight reel serendipity DNA euphoria singularity fake love
There are more videos for the storyline. And more wings. U only saw jungkook's version. Yet there are six more, considering there is a wings short per member Y'all are kings and army/other K-pop fandoms Stan u guys as well. Just know we all love u guys for being fair and listening to us yet also work to ur own comfortability ❤️ This is great to start the storyline properly. Just follow the sequence of the storyline. Yet just cuz I ask for u to watch all the storyline vids in order, there are many no lie (tho they are not long vids yet still. I am aware u have other reactions u need to do , so I'm more than happy with u guys taking turns and not drown us with only BTS. It's fair and also doesn't spoil BTS for u guys. Y'all also got great mindsets too like damn. And please remember flower petals, them staring at the camera, the background, gas station all of those little things and more have symbolssssss. Even the ending that it shows a shot of the horizon of the ocean. U will see that shot and many stuff like the flowers in the next videos. Also jhope collapsed in the street remember the pills. Grab on to the little things. And yes the lyrics go with the video but they sometimes have double meanings and is deeper. Also can u react to Jessi , flowsik- wet Lmao y'all dead watched half of the I need u and I didn't even notice wtf. I thought since u editted that maybe u jumped stuff that I was like "wait where is this scene from the original". 💀💀 And for theories army doesn't even know, but don't be afraid to think of something. Hell some armys made a whole theories on shit like parallel universes and shit. Lol in all honesty all are super polite. In Korea the young ppl are polite and bow and show elders and others respect, it's normal. In wings, it's separate vids. The one wings u saw was of jungkook but there are seven other vids. Also wait til u see more. Wings can give u stuff from I need u to even vids like blood sweat and tears.
i can completely agree with you guys, first impression is always what you see and hear but as you get deep and go in the subconciousness you realize that its not what it means, my first impression of serendipity was same too i had to understand each amd everything in order to get to the conclusion
you both are really good to find something in this mv. BTS and bighit are dope. They totally planed everything and seperated them in each mv. They were all linked...yes please keep on watching their incredible storylines. that's awesome!!!!!
To help, the word 'girl' is referring to the entire abstract idea of love. If you can get the love you need, what do you do to offset the pain. J-Hope used pills, V used alcohol and violence, SUGA was self destructive, Jimin wanted everything to end (drowning), RM wanted to be as numb as possible, amd Jungkook used violence too - picking fights with strangers and friends (SUGA). Jin is the storyteller, it's all connected and we see it through him. The flower on his chest I believe (ARMY let me know if I'm wrong) is the connection they share and considering it's over his heart. It's also the hope he has for them, and the fact that yes their flowers (lives) will bloom again, even if being destroyed. Seasons come and seasons go, but you cant stop spring from blooming. 💜💜💜
You guys are fantastic! I love how you discuss the video and out in your thoughts. Not many reactors do that. If you keep watching their videos like Run, the prolouge, and the rest of the Wings short stories, everything will slowly start to price together.
When y'all get the chance it would be awesome if you'd react to J-Hope's solo song from the Wings album. It's called Mama and I think you guys would really appreciate the duality in the melody vs the lyrics.
This what I like when a new people start to get interest with BTS song, gathering some theory to loop it to others stories. You guys doing greet job trying figure it out!!
Your guesses were really good actually! The song is not about romantic love. *When they were writing the lyrics, they wanted it to be 'I need u friend'. But it didn't sound right in both Korean and English so they went with 'girl' because it musically flowed better.* The connection between 'I NEED U' and 'WINGS' is that they explored the adversities experienced by the youth - each problem is personified in each member: depression, suicide, rage, poverty, loneliness, substance abuse and self destruction. All of it is beautifully underlined by contrasting them with the beautiful moment in between where they are happy with their friends. Becoming an adult is both beautiful and hideous, this is one of the themes that connect between 'WING' and the 'HHYH' albums.
I love seeing the new videos where they’re understanding the BU more and more, and they’ve been getting better at their theories, then watching the old ones where they look soo confused and don’t know their names and say “this one is hungry so he fell” “this one’s getting beat up” “this one was left at the gas station.” Accurate representation of every ARMY when they watch BTS for the first time😂💜
Lou you were right at the beginning when you said it was more about themselves then a girl. It’s about youth and all the pains that come with it. Which is why each of them represent things like anger, angst, depression, aimlessness, low self esteem, addiction, etc.
You guys are right , jin is the most polite member of bts . All of them are but he is the one who is the most polite and he has got many nicknames and articles about him being very polite
Remember when you said that they all have deep story's that are dark, in wings album its talking about self hatred for letting things happen and the outro for wings it's a happy song saying I have wings to fly in other words they learn to love themselves and that's when love yourself her love yourself tear love yourself answer and even face yourself came out talking about how to love yourself because they had to learn how to love themselves and they want to teach us so we don't have to go through dark times like they did, also in the wing albums all members get solo songs talking about certain things in their life they made self-hatred, and one last thing it also reflects on past things that don't go away but they want to go away that's what makes wings most memorable especially Blood Sweat and Tears, by the way I love your reactions you guys are amazing.
I think this music video represent what they think their life would have been like if they didn't meet each other. Bc they Were all suffering depression at one point and it kept showing what they were like without one another. So I feel that this MV is representing what they think their life would have been like if BTS weren't (Jin,Suga,RM,Jhope,Jungkook,V, and Jimin)
ACTUALLY. To understand the whole stories and stuff. You have to watch all the Music videos + Prologue and stuff.. take your time and I think it's so cool that you really get into the theories and stuff! Wow.. you earned one new subscriber ❤️❤️❤️
Omg you guys are good. I can't believe you figured all of this out in one session. Continue watching everything else in order and maybe you'll make the connection. The prologue and "Run" are next!
I'm glad you guys are really into this and really brainstorming trying to figure out what's really going on or what is BTS trying to tell/show us on these MV's (Just like any ARMYS who also got into this really deep and ended up getting drawn, confused and having theories of their own) btw, in order to understand this, you guys have to react to the connected MV'sand videos of BTS. it's actually like an on going story also their 3 albums (LOVE YOURSELF: Her, LOVE YOURSELF: Tear and LOVE YOURSELF: Answer) are all also connected to this. which will make more sense to you guys after you check out the other previous stuffs before it that is connected to this. such as "BTS PROLOGUE (Butterfly song), Run MV, FAKE LOVE... also the members individual characters songs, Suga's First love, V's 4 o'clock MV, STIGMA MV and SINGULARITY MV, Jimin's Lie, Jungkook's Euphoria, then Jin's Epiphany MV. Jin's character role plays a pivotal character Along these MV you'll see his character is either often watching the members or somewhat seemed to be in his own world at some point which will make you think that his character may be playing as a time traveler of a sort. I can't tell everything here and explain coz it's going to be really long Dude, but I hope you check these MV's out. it may bring some more light on you guys, trust me, it may give you some few headaches but it's a great brain teaser. :)) You'll see how geniuses BTS and their production team really are for coming up with such story in which you can either both take as literal and lightly or as deep as the messages of the song really is trying to embody. in which BTS tries to show both the good and bad sides of LOVE itself. also BST also is somewhat connected to it too (in a deeper sense and different dimension/time basing on their concept there. like different time, but same group of friends) basically each characters plays a big part. and you'll wonder what does V and Jin's characters real roles are. ;) I'll let you guys explore it on your own but do not miss them out. you're in for a ride. Good luck and enjoy! ^_^ PS all this stories plays a huge part on BTS real life targets too. as role models to the younger generations and how they want to help everyone (Young people as well as adults) to learn to embrace their darkness and flaws, learn how to cope with it, let themselves be vulnerable while also growing and learning to eventually love thy self. so yeah it all makes sense once you get to understand these MV's and mini-movies and song messages BTS has on their every songs and albums. from WINGS onwards.
I honestly love you in depth you go in trying to figure it out, for the rest of the story line you don’t have to look too much into the lyrics, it’s more the visuals that add to the story but either way I love your guys reactions and can’t wait to see what’s next 💜💜💜
Lots of people forgot to mention Boy Meets Evil (J-Hope's intro). I Need U - Prologue - Run - Young Forever - 7 Short Films - Boy Meets Evil - Blood, Sweat & Tears. Also, loosely connected, between Young Forever and Short Films there were Fire & Save Me which you have to watch until the very end of the video to get the clue that will lead to one of the video above.

They smarter than most armys bruh
I love ous' reaction when he realized that it was not the original ver. 😂😂😂

This dude is really smart I swear I didn't even know the original version existed
PS blood sweat and tears is part of the second half of the story line.
dang ……….that was deep
woah i've never looked at it that way, i mean the "abusive relationships"

Yeah big hit entertainment made a book from them it save 00 that explains the bts wigs Mimi movie
The song was supposed to be I need a friend but it was not catchy

You guys are right about 'girl' being a subliminal message. It was originally worded as 'I need you friend', but it just didn't sound right, so the lyrics ended up getting changed and girl just happened to be the one that fit the best. Great pickup though ;)
Thanks ☺
What is they said "I need you NOW" Idk, too late anyway.
Y’all are my favorite reactors, like you truly appreciate and try to understand the story, which is what we all love and why we keep going back for more ❤️ can’t wait for you to react to the next part which is On Stage: Prologue BTS make sure to react to the eng sub too 😊
The lyrics are usually not necessarily connected with the MV
At least the MV is not about a girl but in a way the context of the song - about missing somone and being dependent of that person to the point that you can't work correctly without them - goes with the story behind the MV and how the members seem to enjoy the simple moments of life when they're together but they can't manage themselves while being appart
SONA I still liked their interpretation of the song
But they could be referring to the girls in the highlight reels which, I think, symbolize certain members
@@xy1784 I fucking wanna cry😭😭
Come on Bighit!! Give us some webtoon shit..I can't with all these theories😭😭😭😭
There is more than one short film... there is one for each member... liked your reaction ♡

Abbiea123 tbh I didn’t read any of this. I just liked it because why not and plus you did a good job on writing this.
18:25 holy shit you got it.he stabbed jin and not his dad, which is what happens in the official save me webtoon
SPOILER ALERTTTTT
Jin stabbed himself using V's hand though? (In Save Me webtoon) I think the stabbing part in the MV is the time when Jin wasn't a time traveler yet, so, it isn't Jin. It's his father.
Unless, I didn't see the face of who he is stabbing then, I'm wrong. But I sure am positive, it's his father.
@@yesyesyes329 the first it's his dad, but then that counts as a "failure" so Jin goes back in time, then tries to stop him, then gets stabbed (which is also counted as failed time leap)

Yes Jin is the most polite and educated one in public and had always being praise for that.
yes because he is the oldest hyung and his obligation is to take care of each member. for example he reallytakes care of the youngest, jungkook, he drived him to school when jungkook was younger.
OH THANK GOD you switched to the original version, I almost had a heart attack, you would’ve missed so much! 😂
this is a handful, you guys are really good at figuring stuff out and i think that following the whole song/mv line, it could help you a bit more, the storyline is really sad, but it’s something really good
I love you guys so much. continue to do what you do cause you may not realize it but you are putting smiles on our faces and helping us through tough time with just your reactions ❤️♥️🌸
The lyrics of the song don’t really go with the video. I LOVE your reactions btw! Also you’ll have to watch a few more videos to kinda understand the storyline. Make sure you watch them In order (take your time but, it would make it sooo much easier if you could tell them apart well, cause there are important details that you’d have to know who’s who, or who’s doing what)
The lyrics do go with the video, you just have to replace "girl" with friend/friends/friendship 🤷🏿♀️
I think it does because in the highlight reel they added girls and it added a whole different meaning about loving yourself
There's one short film for each member btw.
1:Begin (Jungkook)
2:Lie (Jimin)
3:Stigma(Taehyung;V)
4:First Love(Yoongu;Suga)
5:Reflection(Namjoon;RM)
6:MAMA (Hoseok;Jhope)
7:Awake (Jin)
In that order you should watch them, some members are connected with others or have things that have to do with each other. I won't spoil but one obvious one is that the whistle that was in Begin will also be in First Love, another example is how in stigma there will be I a phone booth and broken glass, and in Reflection there will be a phone booth and broken glass.
Yoongi who? I only know yoongu 😂

And Jin is...
Nah I don't wanna spoil it
"suga just suicidal" daaaang you put a "just" in there
It's not tae's actual father lol. It's just for the storyline.
Jin did have a problem but ok

“i feel like he meant to stab the stepfather but ended up stabbing someone else” HE GOT IT RIGHT OMFJSKDJS
Goshh...you guys are geniusss👏👏
honestly, so many of us have watched every single mv hundreds of times because we absolutely need to examine every subtle hint they give us. even if it seems irrelevant, it’s probably not. bts puts things into their mvs for a reason. I’m really glad how you guys are making a huge effort to understand what’s happening!
oh, and for what’s happening to the exact members:
-Jungkook presumably gave up on everything, and so he’s allowing himself to get beaten up and hit by the car (remember the sound of a car crash in the Wings: Begin video? that references this)
-V killed his father, who was an abusive alcoholic to his mother (some people thinks it’s his sister, nothing’s been confirmed)
-Jimin is shown burning a note before drowning himself in the tub (remember in Fake Love when the water was rushing down around Jimin?)
-Namjoon (RM) actually ends up causing that gas station he worked at to explode
-J-Hope tríes to commit suicide by overdosing on pills (at the end he pours his pills into the fire, and remember the pills!! it’ll show up again in Wings: MAMA)
-Suga is shown pouring gasoline everywhere before setting it on fire, wanting to kill himself
-finally, Jin. Jin is the hardest one to understand. He’s shown with 6 petals in his hands. One for each member aside from himself. Some people think that he’s dead and that all of the members are suicidal because they’re mourning over him being gone. Others think that he’s the one alive and the other 6 are dead.)
A whole lot will show up later.
*I'M KINDA EARLY OMG*
The whole BTS story line is very deep but it's fictional. Each member has a different story and trouble. When they are together, they are kind of healing. I don't fully understand the story but that's all I know.
These dudes are honestly good at predicting😂😂..
Watch the webtoon save, you'll know it all then
they’re the happiest together, individual shot; they are all in a bad state facing problems on their own. then when they are together they’re problems are gone and they are happy
On WEBTOON they have the story that explains everything it’s called save me
I like that you guys don't just sit there and watch with no reaction, you guys actually talk and give your thoughts and insights
Keep up the awesome work 🤗💜
El'louise Alexander for the ones that don’t understand BU stands for BANGTAN Universe. 💜
papitae thank you for adding that in there 💜
If you noticed there are pairs:
Jimin (water) and JHope (pills)
V (I'm not sure) and Rm (lollipop)
Jungkook (I'm not so sure) and Suga (he represents piano and fire)
and Jin is by himself (flowers)
Make sure to watch prologue, run, forever young before watching rest of the short films. In that pattern
The short films also take that pattern and involve connections with the pairs.
Loved the video you guys are really good at interpreting and finding the meaning of the video love watching your reactions💜💜
*I'm not kidding when I say I had a day off today and I stumbled upon your reaction video of Ddaeng and that is how I started watching all the reaction videos and at this point I can truly say you'll are the best reactors of BTS I've seen till now.*
*The best part is that I can see the process of starting as a non K-pop Listener to becoming curious about K-pop to getting to know about BTS and then going crazy about every video of theirs to the point where you attend their concerts is the process of becoming an Army. I went through it within the past two years*
You guys should react to an explanation videooo. I wanna see you react to one lmao your reaction would be so funny 😂
If we break down each individual member’s significance to the story, in order of age…
Jungkook- Estrangement
His character is a wandering, lost teen.
V-Independence
V kills his father. Mull over that for a bit. In the context of an extremely filial Korean culture, this is extremely symbolic. Much like the younger boy, he becomes very distant from guiding figures: father, home, and friends. The latter is especially noticeable in the Prologue and Stigma videos.
Jimin- Depression
He tries to drown himself but can’t do it. Not knowing how to deal with his problems, he turns to suicide, but something is holding him back, keeping him alive. This is most likely the presence of his friends. When the seven boys are shown together, they are happy and can temporarily forget their inner struggles.
Rap Monster- Duty and Repressed Self
He works at a gas station where he is mistreated by the customer, and is the only member who is seen rapping/singing in the music video: “It goes round and round…I go down and down…I’m talking to myself again.” His job is boring, Rap Monster the rapper seems out of place, but there is nothing else to do.
J-Hope: Depression and Sickness
He, like Jimin, is clearly suicidal as he is seen attempting to overdose on his medication. Being with his friends provides respite from his demons; he burns the pills in the bonfire.
Suga- Self-Hatred
This is pretty obvious, considering he tries to burn himself alive and his lyrics can be summed up to “I hate this; I hate life; I hate you.” As with most of the boys, we don’t know what the cause of his struggles is, just that they are there and very big.
Jin- Growing Up
Jin’s scenes are much lighter than the other members’-literally, he is in a white room-but not without pain.
Jungkook-begin
Taehyung-stigma
Jimin-lie
Rm-reflection
Jhope- mama and boy meets evil
Suga-first love
Jin-awake
And of course all the story line :)
bts-i-need-u-explained this would clarify EVERYTHING about every BTS video u guys watched
This is my theory:
Actually the I need u mv is the starting and the ending of the stories.
TQ for your time reading 😁😁

by the way, most of the time it's the videos that are connected not the lyrics, like for example this song has nothing to do with the video, at first sight you may think that they're depressed and sad because of a girl but nooooooo, I don't want to ruin it but this is one out of the many other theories that there is, some people think that one of the members died (in the storyline) I won't say which one and this theory isn't official or confirmed so let your mind wonder off and maybe you'll come up with something
Actually, as somebody has already mentioned in the comments, the whole storyline
is :
i need u
on stage: prologue
run mv
epilogue: young forever
then wings series
wings 1# BEGIN
wings 2# LIE
wings 3# STIGMA
wings 4# FIST LOVE
wings 5# REFLECTION
wings 6# MAMA
wings 7# AWAKE
blood sweat & tears
spring day
blood sweat & tears japanese version
love yourself highlight reel
serendipity
DNA
euphoria
singularity
fake love
You are like literally the only reaction channel that tries to figure out the deeper meaning of bts videos and I love it keep doing what your doing ❤️
There are more videos for the storyline. And more wings. U only saw jungkook's version. Yet there are six more, considering there is a wings short per member
Y'all are kings and army/other K-pop fandoms Stan u guys as well. Just know we all love u guys for being fair and listening to us yet also work to ur own comfortability ❤️
This is great to start the storyline properly.
Also can u react to Jessi , flowsik- wet
Lmao y'all dead watched half of the I need u and I didn't even notice wtf. I thought since u editted that maybe u jumped stuff that I was like "wait where is this scene from the original". 💀💀
And for theories army doesn't even know, but don't be afraid to think of something.
Wings can give u stuff from I need u to even vids like blood sweat and tears.
i can completely agree with you guys, first impression is always what you see and hear but as you get deep and go in the subconciousness you realize that its not what it means, my first impression of serendipity was same too i had to understand each amd everything in order to get to the conclusion
bruh they predictions got me quaking....
you both are really good to find something in this mv. BTS and bighit are dope. They totally planed everything and seperated them in each mv. They were all linked...yes please keep on watching their incredible storylines. that's awesome!!!!!
There's 7 short films to watch btw. One For each member. They're all amazing and they all have a solo song for each member in the background of them
RANDOMdotORG which are also connected to the story line (the songs) ☺️
What is btw ( lamo) ≥≤
You mean bts right?!
What is btw ( lamo) ≥≤
You mean bts right?!
@@جيشعمادفرعون-ن7و lol no, it means By The Way 😂
To help, the word 'girl' is referring to the entire abstract idea of love. 💜💜💜
You need to watch more music video and their short movie to understand
You guys are fantastic! I love how you discuss the video and out in your thoughts. Not many reactors do that.
If you keep watching their videos like Run, the prolouge, and the rest of the Wings short stories, everything will slowly start to price together.
Are you guys gonna react to the rest of the wings short films?
OMG I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU GUYS REACTING ON THIS
When y'all get the chance it would be awesome if you'd react to J-Hope's solo song from the Wings album. It's called Mama and I think you guys would really appreciate the duality in the melody vs the lyrics.
This what I like when a new people start to get interest with BTS song, gathering some theory to loop it to others stories. You guys doing greet job trying figure it out!!
Just follow the order of all the vids, and there is a vid explaining the whole timeline and eras.
Becoming an adult is both beautiful and hideous, this is one of the themes that connect between 'WING' and the 'HHYH' albums.
i think you need to watch all seven of the short films.
I love seeing the new videos where they’re understanding the BU more and more, and they’ve been getting better at their theories, then watching the old ones where they look soo confused and don’t know their names and say “this one is hungry so he fell” “this one’s getting beat up” “this one was left at the gas station.” Accurate representation of every ARMY when they watch BTS for the first time😂💜
Jimin is the most polite
Lou you were right at the beginning when you said it was more about themselves then a girl. It’s about youth and all the pains that come with it. Which is why each of them represent things like anger, angst, depression, aimlessness, low self esteem, addiction, etc.
Please react to BTS Butterfly
You guys are right , jin is the most polite member of bts . All of them are but he is the one who is the most polite and he has got many nicknames and articles about him being very polite
you probably have many comments saying this but the song doesn’t really go with the story line of the video
Serendipity music video was just my ad.. wtf... JIMIN WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO ATTACK ME OUTTA NOWHERE
20k do it again? You are at 14k now. You only did the first one. Watch the short film with the lyric video for each solo song, please.
You guys are good. I like it how you actually take time to analize the entire video and make your own theory about what it means
React to firetruck by NCT127
Oml they will love it I cant believe I forgot to suggest it myself
aja crook
😏Woop Woop woop Fire truck 🚒🚨🔥
Not the original ver.
Roast me bro
y’all are sooo good at figuring things out, i am that one fan who only reads theories from the geniuses armys out there lmao
There are 7 Wings Short Films, each one is linked to a solo song from each member.
Glad you finally got to watch I Need U!
I love your reactions, because you can tell that you really get into it, you appreciate the real art and work behind them
Omg you guys are good.
PS all this stories plays a huge part on BTS real life targets too. as role models to the younger generations and how they want to help everyone (Young people as well as adults) to learn to embrace their darkness and flaws, learn how to cope with it, let themselves be vulnerable while also growing and learning to eventually love thy self. so yeah it all makes sense once you get to understand these MV's and mini-movies and song messages BTS has on their every songs and albums. from WINGS onwards.
