- Piers Morgan Uncensored presents a world exclusive interview with President and First Lady of Ukraine Volodymr Zelensky and Olena Zelenska as Piers Morgan joins them in Kyiv, Ukraine to discuss the current state of the nation and how the war is affecting them and their people.
Piers begins by asking them if the difficulties they have faced together has made their marriage stronger and the pair open up about how their relationship with one another has changed.
Piers then asks the President if he thinks Ukraine can win the war and his response is moving. He adds: "(Putin) has already shown the world that he can kill us, but to conquer our people? Impossible."
Zelensky also tells us how he feels about Boris Johnson leaving Downing Street, whether he wants a visit from President Joe Biden and the pair open up about their feelings about Putin. The President says "he is enemy number one in this war. The scariest thing about it is the fact he is sane." In a powerful speech, Volodymr concludes "the world allowed this situation to develop. It allowed such a person to emerge... this mistake is the responsibility of the whole world".

I am Ukrainian, and I've grown up seeing Zelensky smiling and joking from the TV. Since the war have started I haven't seen him laugh, and I have been waiting to see it again as a sign of the peace. Sitting in the basement first month, looking at the brave and tired president, I was hoping to see him in a suit smiling again as it was for many years before. Thank you for this interview Piers Morgan, thank you for this sincere laugh Mr. President 🙏

First of all, Ukraine is not as corrupt as everybody outside thinks (seriously, it's getting better & better over the years)
Secondly, Zelensky actually did something to end corruption (I was watching some people uncovering million-dollar schemes and it was impressive). Also his massive digitalization projects and Diia (government in a pocket) help to reduce bureaucracy and bribes.
And finally, "Corruption Index in Ukraine averaged 26 Points from 1998 until 2021, reaching an all time high of 33 Points in 2020 and a record low of 15 Points in 2000."

He actually did a lot, like remove immunity from members of parliament (& from whoever is president), or pushing the digitalization of state services. So that if you need something from the state, you just do it in an app instead of having to wrangle with some potentially corrupt state official. And there's algorithms monitoring stuff in the background now to help with fraud detection in the state.
Also, the guy's only been in office for 3 years, 6 months of which are the full on war. How much of 30 years of corruption can you clean up in 2.5 years? He's just a president, not superman.
Thank you for doing this interview. I have fallen in love with this couple. And I really didn't know anything about them or Ukraine before this horrible invasion. But have great admiration for all of Ukraine. I especially love the grandma's that I have listened to in video's. I am a grandma myself. The one that chased a Russion soldier out of her yard. You happen to notice one interview and one moment of laughter, but you probably have no idea that President Zelensky speaks very seriously to the nation every day, visiting the fighters on the front and the wounded in hospitals, rousing world public opinion in favour of his country. This is only the second time in the time of the Russian invasion that I have seen him laugh.

1. When Zelensky is talking about a possibility of putin using nuclear weapons, he said that if the world shows weakness, then he might use it, but if the world shows strength, then he won't (second part is lost in translation).
2. About footballers - he said that some of them took rifle and are defending the country

One of the best interviews I have seen in a while. So much passion, love and patriotism from all parties. It brought tears to my eyes a few times. Maybe if Zelensky honored the Minsk Accord and stopped attacking the west where most Muslims and those who identify as Russian live, things would not have got to this point. Ukraine bombed that region for over 7 years and voted to make the Russian language illegal and yet they think they've done nothing to force that region to vote themselves out of Ukraine (Minsk Accord). They voted to leave and Zelensky will not respect those people choice to leave.

Quit with the Vogue photoshoots and family interviews. He has been a attacking Russian speaking Ukranians with terrorism since 2014. Russia held back for 8 years and tried to get Ukraine to follow Minsk II but Zelenaky under Washington instructions continued to block it, and encourage the terrorism. It wasn’t until Feb 2022 three days *after* Zelenaky escalated the terrorism in Donetsk by a whole magnitude, that the Russian administration decided enough is enough. I have visited Ukraine four times the last 7 years and saw the whole thing gradually escalate. NATO is the only aggressor here, and this guy is a criminal.

Piers Morgan asked some emotional questions that were answered with such passion by both the President and the First Lady, they are a great couple who are obviously secure in the knowledge that they will WIN this war. I think The President has shown us all in the world what a very strong leader that he is, especially to those who doubted him. What a great interview. What would have been the alternative, the dirty gas from the USA? The US tried to prevent Gazprom 2 from the start and as soon as it was finished the war was strange. They pull people out of Afghanistan first and suddenly there's a war in Ukraine. Ukraine and the US signed a strategic partnership charter (Blinken and Kaleba) in Nov. 2021, which promises to “hold Russia accountable” for “aggression and violations of international law” and “persistently harmful behavior”.
The document also endorses Kiev's March 2021 military strategy, which explicitly proclaims the military goal of 'recovering' Crimea and separatist-controlled Donbass. It is flouting the 2015 Minsk Agreement, which provided the official framework for settling the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
