@@blasianking4827 thanks for the advice. I am saving my resin for sumeru artifacts and i have some ADC in VV. On top of that heizou can't share a % of his em so i don't need to stack em for him instead I will focus on the One punch 👊 and provide 200 to 250 em using SF and substats.
Male body type + anemo resonance + lost prayer speed buff + passive stamina talent and the ability to B hop makes him great for exploring and just sprinting in general, he may not be faster than Yelan or Sayu but he can go up stairs and bumpy terrain
Absolutely love this dude’s playstyle. My first 4 VV set want to Kazuha, but once I get my missing hat/cup for Heizou, I’d love to try him in a mono-pyro team With Sacrificial Fragments. Teaming him up with Thoma, Xiangling, & Bennet should give him all the support he needs to go hog-wild with pyro swirls. My only real concern is what Atifacts to give Thoma (since I haven’t used him much). Would 2 Crimson Witch + 2 Tenacity work for a mix of Pyro and shield bot-ing?
If you're using Thoma solely as a shield-bot, his best set would be 2pc Tenacity and 2pc Emblem with an HP% goblet/ER% sands/HP% circlet with flat HP, HP% and ER substats. To maintain 100% uptime on his shield it's recommended to have around 200% ER alongside an ER weapon such as the Favonius Lance or you can opt for Black Tassel if you want a tankier shield. You'll want to level him up as high as possible so he can have more HP to create tankier shields and prioritize leveling his skill and burst. Hope this helps!

I feel like Heizou is exactly the kind of character I've been waiting for and him being a martial artist instead of the typical catalyst caster is just icing on the cake. He really makes me wish I had Beidou to run that tazer comp, so I'm currently trying out a team with him, Thoma (I don't really like Xiangling), Xingqiu, and Bennet (though I'm also considering that Heizou, Fischl, Xinqiu, Bennet composition that was mentioned in the video).
There isn’t many that I absolutely love to play that feels good to play. For the longest time that was only Kazuha as I always had a blast with him. Then Ayato came and became part of that group. Now Heizou. He’s just so fun and smooth like Kazuha and Ayato. There is tons of characters I like and love, but none of them give me the absolute blast Kazuha, Ayato and Heizou give me. They are fun to watch as well with their animations. I want to make him tazer but still somehow after all this time I don’t have C6 Fischl. I have Raiden and and Kuki and then I have Xingqiu so for now my own team is: Heizou, Raiden, Kuki, Xingqiu.
Chaining combos with some even going higher that 30 hits with Itto is so much fun, my favorite fun character to play, although he's at c6 which gives him that powerful potential infinite combo ability
Funny thing is, I’m not interested in Heizou, but my friend is in love with him. They got their C2 Heizou, no Kazuha. But now their lvl 56 Heizou does 24k crit burst with skyward atlas!
His E on full stack is wack. I was surprised when he started hitting 20k on his E while I was doing my dailies for friendship farm. Also the fact that I just threw him a bunch of random Viridescent arti lol

I'm loving Heizou!!!! Glad I prepared for his ascension mats in advance. Using him avatar style with Thoma, Xinqiu, and Kuki/Yunjin. I'm AR59 so my priority is a fun gameplay. I have other teams that can clear the Abyss - and yes, my avatar team can also clear floor 12.
Got both C2 Kazuha and C6 Heizou and now I feel so blessed and excited. I'm having a lot of fun with Heizou and I appreciate this guide for talking a bit more about main DPS heizou because that's just how I want to build him.
Easily one of the most fun characters they've ever put into the game and I'm hoping he sets a new precedent for how future characters will play, I've been waiting for Hoyo to put in a Genshin equivalent to the earlier Fu hua melee battle suits they have in HI3 and Heizou perfectly fits the bill.
I’ve yet to see a guide recommend 2pc ATK% 2pc ATK%. Running him on double ATK builds is roughly equivalent to 2pc VV 2pc ATK%, and in most cases actually hits harder when the team isn’t pushing ATK based buffs. In fact, running him on an ATK% circlet with good enough substats is ALSO roughly equivalent, and Dodoco Tales can further prove this if used with a CR/CD circlet. Either way, this all shows how versatile Heizou really is when building him. But I’m also amazed no guides have touched on how valuable ATK stats are for Heizou (mainly due to his low 4* base ATK and absolutely loaded skill multiplier)
Mostly because people are obsessed with crit ratios. When in reality (iirc) 100 atk is pretty much equal to a 10% cdmg in a team where there’s minimal to none atk buff, but this is relatively unknown to casual players. But yeah anemo units in general are really flexible.
He is a damage amplifier. Works really with raiden and yelan. But downback I realised while trying him whole day is when you fight tough ones you need a shielder. So if you plan to use him in abyss, use diona/zhongli with yelan/raiden, xiangling/xingquie, jean/Bennet.
Additional info. I get it from mr. Iwintolose. Heizou normal attack has normal icd. So if you want to stack more faster you can use n1c cause heizou charge attack doesnt have icd

I got really lucky. I was just pulling on the standard banner as a f2p and got skyward atlas! My first 5 star weapon. And once I found out it's good for dps Heizou then I was really happy! I got c2 heizou when pulling. My first 60 pulls were just lots of niguangs and some Thomas. After I got Kazuah I stopped but then I was like I need c1 heizou, so I used my 35 wishes and got him c2 and I am honestly so happy Edit: I have actually decided to give Heizou a different weapon because I am building a dps Niguang and want to give her skyward atlas
great guide as always, but I was really hoping to see all his recommended weapons compared. I usually watch these videos for 1. artifact set recommendations, 2. weapon dmg comparisons. for instance, idk if atlas gives enough damage over widsith to warrant the hassle of getting more crit from artifacts, so I was hoping to see that damage comparison. I am so glad that we have another prototype amber healer now. Ningguang used to be the best because she was the only catalyst with the 12cd 40energy burst. (Despite having both Jean and Qiqi I still used Healer Ning more because Geo Resonance with Zhongli and the heal only needs ER and Weapon Refinements, Artifact sets aren't necessary for her to heal better) Now with Heizou, you can put both Prototype Amber and Viridescent on him, and with his c4 he has less energy requirements than Ningguang. Depending on if you think Prototypes are rarer than good artifacts Heizou is the lowest investment healer you can get.
i accidentally did a keqing summoning ritual by killing all other standard banner 5 stars except her bc i didn't have her yet... guess who pulled keqing instead of kazuha rip. i at least got c1 heizou
I’m begging for some good luck on Heizou pulling :) I successfully got Kazuha and then SEVEN NINGGUANGS. SEVEN. I started on C1 for her… Zero Thoma constellations during pulling (he’s at C4 rn) and NO HEIZOU :(. I’ve started pulling on Klee banner just for different luck because every single 4 star in Kazuha banner was a Ningguang, despite wanting a Kazuha con and not wanting Klee because of her clunky play style, but we’ll see how it goes :) still have over 2 weeks to gather primos from events dailies to try to get him-
lemme begin by saying, I don like main dps catalyst user as they feel clunky to me but Heizou is soo fun to use in that role! my scara/cyno funds are going into him haha xD
He's nice. However, when charging his skill, he will get knocked around. I don't know why. But almost every time he walks through fire, applying pyro to himself, I have seen his skill do higher anemo dmg than without applying pyro to himself.
Heizou is such a great character, especially when you start a new account and you finally get him cause you dont have him on your main and he's 100% not stuck at level 20 because his ascension materials are stuck behind ar31 inazuma.. im pissed bro.

How do you guys maximise crite dmg and crite rate on the same time? ( I have all art lev 20 and substats CR/CD but they don’t level up with the artefact😞) If i go with crite rate circlet i got around 70% but CD just 60% although i have it on other substats artefacts but they just dont make a big difference If i go with crite dmg circlet i got about 170%CD but just 50% CR😢

hey, need some help here... my heizou is at c0. lvl2 heartstopper strike talent. he does like 13k with 1k atk, with benett its actually 1.5k atk and with cr 35 and cd 200% so i was thinking if i upgrade my talent and make cr bove 60 will he hit more than 30k?
Your team comps are too generic. A great aura team comp for Heizou is Heizou/Barbara or Xingqiu / Kuki / Thoma (for vape) or Kaeya (for superconduct). Heizou is a glass cannon and needs a shield/constant healer while he is on field regardless if he is a massive damage dealer.
I have a question. So, I've been building my heizou and he has massive crit dmg (201%) but little to no crit rate (19%). I have The Widsith on him (but it's only at Lv. 60. I hate levelling up weapons) but I also have lost prayers too, but that's on klee (that's at Lv. 70). Is it better for him to have 207% crit dmg with 19% crit rate, or is it better for him to have 161% crit dmg and 46% crit rate. Half of my characters have a lot of crit dmg and little crit rate because I value crit dmg a bit too much, and also crit rate hates me and is never on my artifacts. So I don't know what to do... SOMEONE TELL ME!!!

I have a lvl 55 heizou that deals 23k anemo dmg (all F2P, not counting swirld dmg and team boost) with his skills and it's terrifying for me to think what damage will he be able to deal at lvl80 if only that.
What is better for dps heizou r1 lost prayers or r1 widsith cause i feel like the 5 star would obviously be better but i see everybody using widsith so idk
All I wanted was Sucrose Taser with healer. In two patches I'm presented with one healer who needs another healer not to die and a Sucrose copycat. These team comps are as old as the game itself.

Im running taser team too but without beidou. Im currently replacing beidou with electro travelers, suprisingly it suits so well XD
i run him with Raiden, Yelan and Zhong li! Its insane how good they work with him.

Fischl works without her C6, it's a bit overrated. You want to spam her A4 passive with swirls, the damage is quite decent.
My favorite is ayato for sure, but love heizou!!! Great playstyle

What is the differences between the 18% atk we get from 2 glad and an atk% goblet?
They both contribute to heizou's total attack. However, using an atk% goblet takes away the slot that could have been used for an elemental goblet.

This is my luckiest banner yet. I won my first 50/50 and got C6 Heizou within 100 pulls. Also got Qiqi at 30+ pity so I'm gonna save that guarantee

I’m begging for some good luck on Heizou pulling :) I successfully got Kazuha and then SEVEN NINGGUANGS. SEVEN. I started on C1 for her… Zero Thoma constellations during pulling (he’s at C4 rn) and NO HEIZOU :(. I’ve started pulling on Klee banner just for different luck because every single 4 star in Kazuha banner was a Ningguang, despite wanting a Kazuha con and not wanting Klee because of her clunky play style, but we’ll see how it goes :) still have over 2 weeks to gather primos from events dailies to try to get him-
lemme begin by saying, I don like main dps catalyst user as they feel clunky to me but Heizou is soo fun to use in that role! my scara/cyno funds are going into him haha xD

Heizou, Fischl, XQ, Beidou (4* team) for me is the best. Man, seeing so many colorful numbers is sooo satisfying!
He's nice. However, when charging his skill, he will get knocked around. I don't know why. But almost every time he walks through fire, applying pyro to himself, I have seen his skill do higher anemo dmg than without applying pyro to himself.

Heizou is such a great character, especially when you start a new account and you finally get him cause you dont have him on your main and he's 100% not stuck at level 20 because his ascension materials are stuck behind ar31 inazuma.. im pissed bro.
Im rolling for kazuha. 80 pulls in and 2 cons of heizou but no kaz yet. Primo died out. Waiting for those yummy free events primo. Since i got c1 heizou im not sure what to do with him yet. Looking at your guide for closure if he is worth 1 week of kabuto farm and snake machine lol

How do you guys maximise crite dmg and crite rate on the same time? ( I have all art lev 20 and substats CR/CD but they don’t level up with the artefact😞)
If i go with crite rate circlet i got around 70% but CD just 60% although i have it on other substats artefacts but they just dont make a big difference
If i go with crite dmg circlet i got about 170%CD but just 50% CR😢
@xlice PLease...please please please look at a jean/yunjin speed build for heizou using twin nephrite r5 lvl 90 or sacrificial fragments as a build option.

my heizou is at c0. lvl2 heartstopper strike talent. he does like 13k with 1k atk, with benett its actually 1.5k atk and with cr 35 and cd 200% so i was thinking if i upgrade my talent and make cr bove 60 will he hit more than 30k?
Your team comps are too generic. A great aura team comp for Heizou is Heizou/Barbara or Xingqiu / Kuki / Thoma (for vape) or Kaeya (for superconduct). Heizou is a glass cannon and needs a shield/constant healer while he is on field regardless if he is a massive damage dealer.
I have a question. So, I've been building my heizou and he has massive crit dmg (201%) but little to no crit rate (19%). I have The Widsith on him (but it's only at Lv. 60. I hate levelling up weapons) but I also have lost prayers too, but that's on klee (that's at Lv. 70). Is it better for him to have 207% crit dmg with 19% crit rate, or is it better for him to have 161% crit dmg and 46% crit rate.
Half of my characters have a lot of crit dmg and little crit rate because I value crit dmg a bit too much, and also crit rate hates me and is never on my artifacts. So I don't know what to do...

I have a lvl 55 heizou that deals 23k anemo dmg (all F2P, not counting swirld dmg and team boost) with his skills and it's terrifying for me to think what damage will he be able to deal at lvl80 if only that.
And I just was looking up for build guides.
