Caleb, you are a GREAT teacher. I love the way you explain things so they make sense. I need to know WHY, to comprehend concepts. I LOVE your chalkboard concept teaching. Your crooked line as the guardian wall so the hackers can't get to your code on the server side, etc. (Your stick figure drawings really stick in my mind. No pun intended.) People have different learning styles and your chalkboard explanations work amazingly well for me. Thank you so much!
Completely unrelated to the lesson but the timing was so perfect that I had to say something... I'm here by myself, leaned over and farted, and he said "excuse me" right after lol.
Awesome! Thank you! I was advised to get on my ExeData certifications, and am progressing towards it now! Just wanted to say thanks for making these videos free of charge! I have done videos similar in the past, but your dedication is certainly inspiring. I would once again like to thank you for making this content free of charge :) I'm currently in high school, so finding money is quite rare for me. I honestly cannot thank you enough.
6 years later I find these vidoes with no coding experience or idea what I'm doing hopefully I will be able to stick it all out n up my knowledge / eventually grab a job from what I have learnt thanks bro
Thanks for the great videos! I have learned more from a handful of your videos then I did from a 100 pages of php/mysql book. I leave the commercials play all the way through, even if I have seen them before. I do this because I know you get paid if I don't skip them. Thanks again.
Hi Caleb, I am working as a database developer. I have doubt is really required to know the java, .Net or any other front-end application languages to design database.
Caleb Curry I don't necessarily agree. My mother was left handed and she had exquisite elegant cursive handwriting. Also when we were learning cursive writing in school, I noticed that my left handed classmates had generally better handwriting. I suppose it might be a _cursive only_ thing.
I came out from the womb programming databases. Sitting up for 74 hour sessions typing so many database commands that my finger tips to this day are worn down to the bone. This helped solidify my skills. A slight exaggeration but I just decided to do it one day and I sat down with some books and a computer and learned it.
This kid had such a mastery of this subject, ten years ago... I'd wager seeing as he still posts, this man writes his own checks with his knowledge.

This is by far the most helpful introduction to db that I've found after a painful amount of searching. Thank you so much.

I am watching you in 2019 in Poland. It's so relaxing hearing scientific stuff introduced in some civilized language
Thanks for being like the only American who does database tutorials 👍

Hi Caleb,
I am working as a database developer. I have doubt is really required to know the java, .Net or any other front-end application languages to design database.
Raj D it's not required but if you're going to use the database for anything that connects to a front end, you will need some knowledge in that.
I liked this because he said "peace" at the end 🤣✌️
Cool you are great Thanks!

Caleb, buddy, do I have some news for you.
How old are you?
Teach my kid to print nice and clear like yours, he's left handed.
Left haned kids are doomed for bad handwriting hahaha

You got it!
Çok güzel anlatıyorsun ama , neyazıkki anlamıyorum :( tr > eng
u're so cute
I liked the video but you took more than required time to explain a simple concept. Please try to minimise the video runtime.
😂
Hmmm are you licensed to teach?😐
U R cute
